The room was very spacious.
Some lights didn't work. The elevator was very loud and the floor landings when you walked out of the elevator were dirty. The walls were paper thin. We could hear everything
The pool was very, very cold. I mentioned it to the front desk and I was told it was heated. I told them it was cold and something is wrong with the heat system. After just 20min my kids did not want to stay in and that is not like them.
Love that this high quality hotel is across the mall and located near many nice restaurants-including an on site restaurant. (We took advantage of room service). Greeted by warm cookies!
VERY disappointed that the pool was not in service...my 7 year old was bummed since we walked into the pool area ready to swim. :( Wish I would have been informed.
Booking.com did not have it listed that the pool was broken when we booked the room. That was the whole purpose for going with the kids. We checked out and found a booking on our own. The staff was very courteous and did not charge us for the room. I would try to stay there again. I would however book it myself.
I did not care for booking.com The failed to disclose the pool was down for maintenance. According to the hotel they had been notified. The hotel called booking.com and it was not listed.
We booked the king executive thinking we would have a larger nice room. We were a little disappointed with the room but realized the executive gave us free breakfast and wonderful apps in the evening. This was the biggest plus!!
Room and bathroom were smaller than expected. The window curtain did not close, the track did not extend all the way across only the shee one did. This did not allow us to sleep well since the city lights were so bright. We now understand why Elvis requested for his windows to be taped off and blacked out. There was also quite a draft from one of the window panels. The room took a long no time to heat up, especially for a small room. The indoor pool and hot tub were closed until the middle of January.
Close proximity to the mall.
-being within walking distance to the mall - the beds have a comfortable mattress.
- the size of the beds.....doubles are too small for couples.
-Complimentary cookie -Complimentary water -Great location across from mall and short ditance to downtown portland
-Cookie was walnut oatmeal which was not a big deal but maybe a more generic sugar cookie would be better or a few options to choose from would be nice.
We brought our dog and we were not put in the basement, which was a plus. There was tons of room and it was clean for the puppy to run around without us having to watch him the whole time. Everyone was friendly and accommadating.
Nothing really bad to say.
The room was very well decorated and clean
The grounds were shabby. There were two dead trees on either side of the entrance of the second tower where we were staying
Low quality, high price.
cleanliness shower/bathroom was very dirty old furniture breakfast
The room was fine and the bed comfortable
The halls were very dirty, at times the elevator floors were wet (it was not raining), doors to very unsightly utility rooms were left open on the floors.... In generally things rather run down looking. Even wall paper in room with lots of patches in it.
Nothing...they sent us away
Julia claimed she wasn't responsible for taking care of us, because the reservation wasn't in her system. We booked on Booking.com from the road, arriving at 10pm, only to be told they were sold out, and this is the problem with booking through a third party. She finally called the Days Inn to see if they still had rooms, and sent us on our way. There was no compensation or recognition of responsibility on their part.
easy parking, comfortable beds, staff is excellent
breakfast is average
The restaurant smelled had strong pool smell, the air conditoning was too cold. We left and ate off premices.
All the above listed
pool and close to a lot of fun
One employee who thought she could charge my wife for free coffee.
The beds were very comfortable. Bathroom small but clean. Room nicely decorated.
Bottle of water in room left out cost $3.50 should be complementary!! Chair in our room at the desk was stained and bleached had been spilled on it. Pillow case had a blood stain on it and lastly could here people and TV from other rooms
The king size bed. The accessibility of everything within the hotel. The friendliness of the staff.
Shower needs updating. More pillows.
The convenience to mall very comfortable beds great very responsive staff
The security latcj broken on door & pool area a little cool.
Very comfortable bed and great food in restaurant. Wonderful shuttle service as well....
When making reservations online, there was a section to add comments. I stated I needed to leave car in parking lot for 5 days. Never got a response. Arrived at the hotel to find out had to pay $25 charge and leave the car keys. No problem w/fee or keys, but would have liked a response letting me know of that fact.....
