Room service was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bed was very uncomfortable too hard and lumpy. Room temperature could not be adjusted too hot.

Love the history of the building. Loved the armory lounge! Shuttle pickup in a nice Tahoe was great! Wonderful breakfast there, too! And windows opened for a bit of fresh air!!

Location The beds were way too marshmellowey. My wife and I are athletic and these beds killed us. We will not stay again unless we confirm a firm mattress. Thank for your interest

Location in Old Port, friendliness of staff, off-season room rate. Very clean room. Portland Regency has character; definitely not a cookie-cutter hotel. We prefer firm mattresses; this king was too soft. Vibrating/rattling noise from central air could be heard through ear plugs and interrupted our sleep several times. More an annoyance than a disturbance for us.

Pretty well nothing. The room was like a cheap motel room on an Interstate highway. For the money charged it was a disgrace.

Good location to the converted dock area. Although Portland is small and the "boutique" style shopping and cafes are pretty poor. Poor value for money, take away the exterior of the building and (we had a small room with 2xdouble beds without coffee/tea, without in-room safe, etc. We had a two week trip in over 10 hotels from sleezy motels to 7th Ave NY and Hilton Niagara Falls and this was the worst value for money by far.

Was charged $12 a day for parking. Not worth the money charged for the room. Poor services compared to the surrounding hotels.

We found the staff and location to be excellent. The front desk was able to help us find great destinations in the city to visit. We were within walking distance of everything downtown. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the spa and found the staff there to be great as well. We dined at 20 Milk Street for dinner one night. The food was amazing and the staff was great. We really enjoyed the hotel and are looking forward to going back again.
