Perfect location Amazing Staff Fantastic food and service at the lounge and 'garden cafe' restaurant Very comfy beds Luxurious bathroom and decor
Wi-fi was pretty weak, though at least complimentary; couldn't get my phone to hook up so had to use data A bit pricey for what we got, to be honest. Granted, it's probably the nicest hotel in that part of town, but the rate plus price of room service and other services piled up high quickly.
Staff are always consistently attentative. Fitness room is small, however it does the job! We are in fact looking to have our wedding at the hotel. The beds are amazing!
It's an expensive hotel, however it's worth the "treat" once in awhile and I believe you pay for what you get.
Just really all about great customer service. A bunch of people all working together to make a stay pleasurable.
Perfect location - rooms on the 4th floor have balconies - excellent bar in lower level
location,overall all atmosphere
A bit noisy
The location is great - in the heart of the Old Port and an easy walk to Waterfront. Small conveniences like two umbrellas in the room. Friendly staff.
Food in the restaurant was average. Expected more for this hotel.
Lovely hotel in the heart of the city. Easy access to everything. Great staff. The spa was perfect as well.
The coffee they serve is not great. And only 1/2 n 1/2 is available. Also hotels should check for squeaky doors. Our bathroom door was so loud it woke up my partner whenever I touched it.
South side street noise from bars. A bit overpriced, but consistent with others in City
No wi fi in our room.. Come on....Are you kidding?
Location, location...... Helpful with supplying us with a refrigerator.
Bathroom cleanliness needs to be taken care of.
I didn't like the AC unit in the room. It was a nit loud when it turned off and on. I'm a light sleeper and it woke me a through the night. I was in rm 216 sleeping on the left side of the bed and it was directly over my head. That was the only thing negative I can say about the hotel.otherwiswe , very nice.
Good location for walking around the harbour front.
The long wait for breakfast in the morning. Trouble in the kitchen was not communicated to us.
Staff, especially front desk, very accommodating and pleasant. Loved location and the warmth of the hotel decor.
USA Today (would much rather have local paper)
Room, bed, old-fashioned room key and coffee service; bathroom. Staff on the whole.
Valet who addressed my husband inappropriately.
Location, location, location.
No handicap visible at entry with many stone steps. Insufficient staff to assist whether lodging or baby shower guest.
Restaurant food, service and atmosphere were outstanding.
Initially the boxiness of the room was very off-putting - 2 small, above eye level windows and a low ceiling created a dark room. We were in a room at the end of the building. We realised later that the hotel was a conversion from a previous use and that all rooms suffered in the same way, but not to the same extent, as ours. Nevertheless the room was comfortable and clean and well serviced with complimentary tea or coffee & paper in the morning.
The feel of the hotel
Noise levels within the hotel at early hours of the morning
Beautiful setting, location and staff was exceptionally knowledgeable about area attractions.
Had a hard time using my laptop and I really needed to work while I was at hotel.
Beautiful facility, valet parking.
Pillows were horrid. So uncomfortable I could barely sleep. The shower head was low and didn't have much water pressure.
Everything, but especially the comfort of the bed and the spa service.
Very large room, a junior Suite.
Not recently up dated.
Wonderful location for exploring the Old Port. In hotel restaurant is excellent.
My only complaint was that my room was "semi connected" to the room next door ( separated by a locked door ). Great if it was a family block, but otherwise I could hear cell phone conversations word for word.
Comfort, atmosphere, lounge & food. Friendly service all around
Bed too short
