The location is excellent, you are literally 100 yards from times square. The room is basic but the bed was comfy and shower hot and clean, al you need considering your out all day come back to shower then out again. view from the window was poor but hey all we had to do was step out the front door and there were fab views we needed to print out our boarding passes for both our flights, had to keep getting change for the computer as it took a minute away when you print one piece of paper. Was quite annoying. |

I was booked in for 4 nights - the room was absolutely horrible - the carpet was so dirty i was afraid to put bare feet on it. One curtain was to the floor the other below the window sill. There was no door on the wardrobe. We stayed one night and found alt accommodation |

47th - just a few steps from Times Square!!! Perfect! Perfect! Perfect! Rooms are awfull! Window-view - just bricks :-( However, there is some "ugly" climate of NY inside, for all who love that city :-) |

While the hotel is basic it is central and close to the Metro station and the theatre district. My visit was a working visit focussed on the American Museum of Natural History and I needed good, clean and modestly priced accomodation at no great distance. This hotel, although more like a hostel, provided pretty much what I had hoped. I was pleased with it. No-one likes having to go down the hall for the restroom, especially in the middle of the night. However the room sizes are such that adding showers would change the economics of this hotel so that prices woudl more than double so I consider the inconvenience acceptable. |

Friendly, courteous and helpful staff, and a great location. Room was small and basic, but clean. Free internet access was a bonus. Beds were comfortable. Great value for the price. A jug to make tea/coffee would have been nice. Bathroom a bit iffy, but again it was clean. |

it is in approximate close vicinity to tourists' destinations: times square, central park, fifth avenue and close to subway stations which help when we needed to take public transport to other places This is not a complain but more of a suggestion that I would love the hotel to increase the sound proof of the room as it was quite noisy at night especially weekend that on Saturday night I couldn't sleep till past 4am the next day.I understand being close to Times Square that there will be a lot of people walking past, traffic etc, but I thought it would be good to improve on this to help business travelers settle in. |

The location of the hotel was excellent- close to subway, Times Square, the Hop on and Hop Off stops and eating places in 48th and 49th streets. The room size was too cramp- especially in a two beds room. There was hardly room for the luggage. Some of the rooms at the back were hard to get to- in a confusing maze. |

I can only say that the location was the best thing. The room was the size of a shoe box with no room to swing a dead cat. It was constantly dark with no windows/views so lights we're kept on at all times, best thing to do is stay out all day which considering your in the city that never sleeps is easy enough to do. If you do wish to upgrade to a renevated room be prepared to double the cost of your stay. No hairdryer |

The staff was extremely pleasant. It was very quiet, even though we had a room facing the street. We were directed to the evergreen restaurant across the street which offered great breakfasts! |

The location and the price are really worthy. The pictures of the rooms do not reflect the reality. The rooms are much smaller than it seems to be in the pictures. |

This hotel provided value for money - it is a basic hotel but the room was adequate, clean and comfortable and the location was fantastic! The front desk staff were very helpful and polite and we were overall very happy with our stay. |

The location was excellent, right in the heart of all the action of Times Square, close to the Theatre District & within easy walking distance of Central Park. The beds were comfortable. The hallways, stairwell & our room were dark which made it feel unclean. The room was so small that we could not put two suitcases on the floor. Almost everyday we had something missing after the room had been cleaned: no towels, no soap, no bin, no toilet paper. |

The hotel is very comfortable and not expensive. The stuff is polite. Location is super. Wi-Fi is available. Unfortunatly Wi-Fi was available only in the hall, not in the room. |
