The Portland Hotel at Times Square

NYのミッドタウンにあり、ロケーションは最高です。

建物が古く、部屋も狭い。

とにかくロケーションが最高です。タイムズスクエアで深夜までぶらぶらしても歩いて帰れる。ミュージカルが- 終わってから女1人でも安心。その割には値段も割安でよかったです。

ベッドが小さい。背の高い人だと窮屈かなあ、、、。

値段の割には部屋もしっかりしていて、清潔だった。部屋は狭かったがバスルームは広く使いやすかった。

Deluxe Double Room に1人で宿泊したが、2人だと荷物を広げたりするには少し狭いかもしれない。

ロケーションはバッチリ。ＮＹ中心部に域なら、どこにでもアクセスは非常に良い！

エアコンの音が意外に大きかった。共同バス・トイレの清潔さに疑問有り。共同バストイレの使用方法、マナー- をきちんと張り出して、守るよう喚起すべき！

Very central location, near theatres 7 times sq

My sister was at the same hotel but in a lovely renovated room-when I checked in sev days later I was given a rm on the 8th flr that had stained rug, black grouting in bathroom around the tub, very frayed shades, damaged furniture w/ gouges on desk w/ strips of exposed fiberboard where formica had been ripped off. Based on that the room was very overpriced! Would only recommend when all rooms are completely finished.

I attended the theater twice, spent time at MOMA, went shopping, visited galleries, and took a boat tour around the island. I also visited friends who live in the area and ate out.

I would have liked a coffee pot in the room.

I liked its location and the rooms were adequately comfortable. Aslo the convenience of a lift.

Just looked a bit tired looking.

the location was fantastic, minute walk from times square and a great restaurant called evergreen for breakfast opposite. staff were friendly.

room is small and basic as expected

My room was very compact but clean and so close to everything. Felt quite safe there and staff were helpfull.

For the first night, we were given a small double bed room 526 for two men. Upon our request, we were able to move to 703 for the second night. The front desk staff were eager to help us and very pleasant. However, your hotel itself did not match the staff's quality.

The room 526 was dark and depressing.

Location is absolutely superb. And concept of small rooms with shared bathroom facilities could work really well, especially in a city like New York where regular hotels are expensive and dormitories not a very attractive option.

In The Portland Square Hotel you share bathroom facilities with about 10 others: which means that most of the time they are not available. Also the bed in my room was bent on one side, and hence not very confortable.

Near to most shopping areas and to Time Square

The location is excellent, you are literally 100 yards from times square. The room is basic but the bed was comfy and shower hot and clean, al you need considering your out all day come back to shower then out again. view from the window was poor but hey all we had to do was step out the front door and there were fab views

we needed to print out our boarding passes for both our flights, had to keep getting change for the computer as it took a minute away when you print one piece of paper. Was quite annoying.
