Great food at the restaurant.
Go up to the Bar "The Glass Door" at sunset and see the Great view of San Diego Harbor a great way to end the day, and then for the free breakfast.
Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were roomy and comfortable. We met our kids and grandkids at Ports Vista for a week through New Years and had a great time.
Extremely slow elevators.
I liked that when I asked to switch rooms when we got there they were very helpful and didn't make a big deal about it. I liked the decor, very relaxing. Love the location. Perfect. Close to tons of things to do and great restaurants. The view at the Glass Door restaurant was beautiful while we ate our complimentary breakfast.
The first room we had was beautiful however, there was a glass door from the room to the bathroom. This let in a lot of natural light, which was great, and the being to see the shower from the bed was sexy. However, you could also see the toilet and the person using it... Not sexy. This feature caught me off guard as there was no mention of it at reservation, but they switched our room with no issue. The rooms also do not come with a blow dryer which should be standard in all hotel rooms at this point. The location is new a slew of restaurants but the room comes with no fridge. It has a spot for a fridge though... They should use it. Parking was $25 a night and it is valet only, so then there is the adding cost of tipping. I did not appreciate this. The waitress at the Glass Door restaurant that served our complimentary breakfast was terrible. She never checked on us.
1) Glass Door - Who closes a restaurant for brunch? You're kidding right?
Bathtub was leaking,we complaint but no action, then last day of our stay my son slipped in the bathroom and get hurt,I talk with manager but I am pretty sure they are not going to fix this issue ever so get ready to use your bath towels to stop leaking water
The location and easy access to great restaurant's, and shopping.
Thin walls can hear
22$ per night parking. We preferred parking on the streets, which was not convenient. Wait time to get seated for well cooked breakfast was too long. Continental breakfast probably would work out better.
Great location, lady at reception was friendly and welcoming.
Restaurant service was poor. No soap in bathroom. A little noisy.
The free breakfast was good considering it was a cooked meal. It was really a good deal for the price because the rooms were very spacious. The staff is friendly which makes you feel welcome. Very cheap valet.
The hotel is noisey. Our door was difficult to close because it kept getting stuck. There was a weird smell coming from one of the vents.
Location was key
Room was nice clean but bathtub was not draining at all had to call front desk to get it repaired Maintenance staff done a great job and was very helpful.
The view was not what I had expected!
Everything was fantastic! The customer service was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and simple. The restaurant upstairs was a great surprise. Recommend this hotel!
Great location! A block away from Little Italy and shops, 2 blocks away from the Saturday morning Farmer's Market, and a short walk to the ocean, the Midway and Seaport Village. Great staff, extremely clean rooms, all the amenities, and the bar at the Glass Door is the BEST!
Although the rooms are comfortable and very clean, it's getting to be time for a furniture upgrade. Please do NOT remove the murals fro the walls, though! Those are one of the most interesting things about the hotel.
Very comfortable bright room. Great location. Nice bathroom. GREAT restaurant with amazing view. Enjoy a cocktail and watch the sun set over the bay! Oh, and free breakfast was perfect!
Parking. Valet was really only choice which means extra charges to bill. Boo. But walked every where and felt like car was secure.
room was clean
the airport shuttle wasn't running to the airport, they were using it for other runs and I had to use a taxi both to and from the airport at MY cost, this service is apart of why I booked the hotel.. never stay here again, the staff suck when trying to sort out the shuttle.
location lobby glass door restaurant
tiny room not clean enough too much noise inside the room (water from the toilet, mini refrigerator)... you can heard everything from other rooms.
Overall, great experience. Great View
Wi-Fi kind of slow but no big deal at all.
Booked two nights in advance, arrived at hotel to find I only had a booking of 1 night...
Location couldn't be better, same with breakfast included.
Lousy wifi, few channels, noisy halls, saggy matress
Location and price
The wall in the restroom had missing tile. Other than that it was a pleasant visit. Will definitely recommend and will return.
The men who worked as vallets at the hotel parking were very friendly and polite.
The wifi was terrible. It was impossible to use it properly in the room. Sometimes, even in the lobby it was poor. We stayed in a triple room, with breakfast included, but they gave us vouchers for only two people.
Good value. Good location. Good free off street parking.
Noises. Long waiting time for breakfast. Internet is slow.
Location was key, for sure! Rooms have a modern feel. Price was good. If you stay in a Sunday or park late and leave early, you might not need to pay for parking, like us! Also, the free breakfast was awesome and hearty.
There was no sound or insulation on the door/courtyard side of the room so you hear every little footstep and all of the cars parked below beeping when locked, etc. TV reception was also pretty poor. Lots of new paint on an older, sad building.
