Location was good.
Staff weren't particularly helpful. Arrived after a long journey and found my room to be pretty much in the car park. I have never experience such a noisy room. I can't explain the noise but at least once an hour there was a mechanical metal drilling/vibrating kind of noise. Also any time a number flushed their toilet/ran the tap of shower my whole room was full of plumbing noises. I called to ask if an alternative room was available but was informed this was not possible. I slept not one second of that first night. I bought ear plugs on the second day which was the only way to resolve the problem.
The location was very good for little Italy the room was clean and very comfortable
The room was a lil stale smelling and ac didn't work to well elevator was slow and didn't like that we paid 22 dollars a day for parking at the hotel for the price we paid for the room that should have been free
Pet friendly Comfy bed Clean After complaining about being given a downgraded room rather than the one we booked and paid for, we did receive an apology and discount.
Over booked so gave us the wrong room with no explanation or apology until after we complained. Wifi didn't work No seating on the balcony Parking not included in room price
This hotel was exactly what the other reviews said, great location, decent price but the front desk staff were just not what I would consider friendly. They were short with their answers, sometimes border line rude, but the location is a block from little Italy, and right off the highway for easy access to anywhere in San Diego.
Loved the location and views from the restaurant/bar. With the rooftop and lower patios, lots of 'hang out' spaces too for groups. Right in the middle of Little Italy makes for great restaurants/shops a 1-3 block walk max.
Bathrooms could be primped up a little. Specifically the towel quality, the toilet seat, the products, and little more design.
Only received good customer service after complaining
it was clean, in a good area - close to many restaurants
toilet did not work very well
The location was terrific.
WiFi was weak, bath water pressure was weak, furniture looked cheap and beat up and there was no late checkout.
The room was nice, wifi worked well, staff were very friendly, and the location was perfect!
The valet parking fee of $22 per day
We were given the Midway suite which was directly under the restaraunt. At 5:30 every morning furiture was moved around making a lot of noise and not only woke us up but also kept us from getting back to sleep. They refused to move us. They also charged us twice the price we contracted for. We were told if we needed a shuttle back from the convention center all we needed to do was call. When we called at 4:00 we were told we would have to wait until 5:30. Airconditioner was loud and rattled. There were no shelves or vanity to place my shave kit or anything on. We had to use the toilet seat.
Location and view of the bay are excellent!
Ice machine outside rooms, woke up to housekeeping scooping ice for 10 mins at 6am every morning. Room was damp no matter how I adjusted the AC. Wifi not reliable.
Rooms need to be more clean.
Very close to all restaurants
Facilty...none came to clean up my room in 2 days
Great location with street parking. Walk to little Italy. Rooms were nice.
Close enough to restaurants for eating out Hotel restaurant = AMAZING food and service
Location of our room - noisy being located right beside the car park Very small and dark room
Location was central for my needs. I was in town for a workshop, busy all day and just needed a comfortable place to sleep where I could walk to restaurants for my meals. The bed was comfy enough, and the room was thoroughly cleaned each day.
Airport a bit too close. Wi-Fi is very slow! The carpeting in our room felt gooey and damp, there was a mildew odor that lingered in the air.
Almost everything. The room smelled of mildew and clearly was visible in the restroom, the noise level made it difficult to relax once back in the room, our card keys where disactivated (annoying). What was supposed to be a nice family getaway for my son and I wasn't. I would have paid less and gotten a better room and Motel 6
Location- Little Italy Rooftop Lounge and Seating Area
Property is Hip but needs updating Rooms are dark and bland No information in rooms re: facility, ice machine, restaturants, hours, check out. No Pool/Jacuzzi Fitness Center Permanently Closed Staff Abrupt and Unhelpful
Bed was firm. Room & facilities were clean. Staff was friendly and nice. Awesome view from the rooftop; tons of nice, comfy seating up there to just relax and soak in some sun.
Very noisy fridge in room, had to unplug it to sleep. The main elevator, the only one that took you from the lobby to the roof was super slow and didn't respond most of the time; there was only one other elevator. The architecture of the building amplified the noise from outdoors. You could hear everything, from people's conversations as they walked pass your door, to housekeeping rolling their cart around as they cleaned each room, to the car alarms going off in the parking garage on the ground floor.
Great hotel , friendly staff. Loved staying at the Little Italy area. Our king size suite room had a balcony which was really nice. Overall a great experience.
The Valet guy was the only staff that was great. Very friendly wonderful service with him. Locations is really good freeway is just right behind the hotel. Room was decent could have been better. Cleaning staff was very friendly as well.
Bathroom tub to high to get in. There was some cobwebs in the bathroom. Front desk was not friendly. In the room by the microwave the celling was water damaged. Rooms need to be redone more. Website for the hotel is not what the rooms look like much at all.
The PV hotel is in a great location, the room is nice with comfy beds and the staff are friendly. It was so noisy outside with the freeway close and the planes overhead but we heard none of that inside the hotel room. We had fun at the Glass Door thanks to Jersey!
The air conditioner struggled to keep the room cool.
We were not happy first with our room and the manager had found a solution for us straight away.
