The checking and check out people were rude. I have never had such a bad experience. I cannot even continue without my blood pressure going sky high!
Cons: -The hotel was in the middle of renovation (i hope). Some areas had no ceilings and many holes in the walls. -the fact that you have to share a bathroom and toilet if you dont get a double room. -the bed sounds like you are sleeping on multiple bags of plastic and makes a lot of noise -even though its a cheap hotel, it still doesnt feel like its worth the price.
Pros: -Great location, close to Union Square, 10 or so minutes walk to the Giants stadium, many restaurants and bars close by. -A fantastic breakfast restaurant is right next to the hotel called Honey Honey. -Staff was friendly enough and i didnt have any issues with them. -Shared toilets and showers were clean. -Room was clean -cheap prices

Hotel under construction/remodeling. Will eventually be nice but currently a disaster!
Convenient location. The room was recently updated and it was clean.
The first two bathrooms I tried clogged and all it was just a number 1. The linens on the bed all had tears on them. Not super gross, but I chose to sleep in my sleeping bag instead.
The location is awesome, as many have said it's right next to an amazing crepery that also makes some good burgers. Check in and check out were easy though I called ahead to confirm our room since I never got a confirmation email directly from the hotel. Room was pretty good for the price. All in all I'd recommend it if you're on a budget & wanna be a 10 minute walk from Union square and a bunch of music venues.
This dump shouldnt call itself a hotel because is a residential single room occupancy facility. The staff is rude, u cant hv guest unless is before 9pm & they have to sign in at the front desk.... I will never stay there ever again!!
No parking Shared facilities was dirty Internet were slow
The room was clean
They're going under some renovations and we would wake up to construction.
The bathrooms and showers were clean. And I always felt safe walking down the halls at night.
At 10pm they knock on my door while my teenage daughter and I are getting ready for bed. They insist on getting in to see if we have one. I insist they are not getting in. Once I am prepared to leave the room I go downstairs to ask why they needed to find out at that moment. They said I should've put a do not disturb on the door. Well, that I did not have!!
Room needs a makeover. Outdated. No aircon and a hot water pipe in the room. Double bed definitely wasn't wide enough for two thin guys Wifi was too weak for anything other than email Staff wasn't exactly friendly
Location Shared bathroom was basic but always clean
Poor customer service, VERY loud property, as they go through renovations and many partiers. People partying all night with doors open. It's a mess. :/
Don't expect a lot from the facilities, because it's a low cost hotel. Of course, little better than average hostels, specially if you're on a business travel.
The Staff speaks English and Spanish and they are awesome, especially Afonso and René! The location is perfect, close to the Union Square - only two blocks. I like the bed and the room, tv with lots of options and wifi. For the price you pay, it's very fair. All those hotels around are very expensive. This one is fair, that's the word.
Had a few issues with the radiator making some annoying noises early in the morning (the staff did attend to this though). Also, hard to control the temperature - was occasionally too hot or too cold in our room.
Terrific location, close to restaurants, bars, Union Square, public transport, Chinatown etc.. Bed was comfy and bathroom acceptable. Value for money was reasonable for San Francisco. They were doing some renovation during our stay but this didn't bother us. Manager seemed like a nice guy. Liked the cool old elevator.
Pretty much everything.
Nothing other than its location.
Everyting was noise all day not comfortable place to stay at I waist my money
I don't like nothing at all I never back to this hotel
Bathrooms are down the hall but it was always vacant. old elevator.
Felt safe, walking distance to everything.
Dislikes: a "double twin room" is just a double bed cramped room shared bathroom for the entire floor saw some cockroaches elevator feels unsafe Hole on the walls on the corridor
likes: location internet
Excellent location. Clean. Safe. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here next time I visit SF.
Room too hot specially for infant and childrens
They were busy with the wiring in the building and lots of wires could be seen hanging from the ceilings in the corridors. We did not feel comfortable using the elevator as it too is really old. Be aware that the part of town has a lot of homeless people.
The room was big enough with a large on-suite bathroom. The WiFi worked fine. It is in the center of the city which makes it easy to get to hop on buses an public transport.
Bad smells, noise. Poor room and the whole hotel.
Old lobby. Being renovate A bit noise.
Nice location. Room and furniture brand new. Deluxe king size suite.
The place is in renovation, but not even try to seem correct. Our bedroom was on the street, 2nd floor, hopefully we had ear plugs.
not that much
