Location, location, location!
Let's face it this place has got kinda a bad reputation. But I don't think it's that bad. I mean I've stayed in joints a lot tougher.
Nothing .....worst customer service
This people don't no why they are there........
The room was clean and comfortable
The walls were thin and I could here people talking outside.
It was a bed. I'd had a long day.
Property was poorly laid out. They offer coffee in the morning but NO TEA. Towels were infant sized.
No microwave. Please consider installing a microwave so guest can heat food. There's a refrigerator in the room so why not go the whole nine yards. Also, more channels and reception with the TV Thx!
It's close to downtown, has a nice pool and hot tub and it's walking distance to BART.
No do not disturb sign and apparently if you check in at night you have to do it via the night window. Good thing it wasn't raining otherwise I would've gotten wet waiting to check in,
Drug dealers kids hanging out on the stair ways
pretty quiet. And clean
about three days out of 10, there were cops there.
It smelled disgusting and it was ghetto
Clean, cheap, quiet, great central location to downtown, friendly staff, pool, cable, laundry & vending machines
Nothing really. Is what you would expect for a budget hotel. I enjoyed my stay overall.
It was nasty
Pleasant staff who seemed very accommodating. We only stayed for one night, so please take that into account. We did not notify the staff of the conditions listed, because we felt we could put up with them for the one night.
The room needed a thorough cleaning. There was hair left in the bed. The pillows were so flat, you barely noticed they were there. The carpet had many stains. The toilet kept running. Due to the cleanliness, it made it difficult to sleep. My wife and I had to wrap the towels around the pillows to feel comfortable enough to lay down.
There was an on duty security guard and police were in and out all day and night. Staff was friendly.
Could hear thru walls. My headboard was against wall and you could feel it move from other room. Carpets were filthy. Toilet never wanted to flush right, had plunger.Would never swim in pool, dirty, and people using it were not clean. Cops in all day and night. They told me lots of drugs and prostitutes. I sprayed for bedbugs and fleas, let air. Cleaned room myself with lysol and sprayed. Still odor and my suitcase I had on floor took odor and my clothes stunk. Upstairs room was noisy and smokers outside. Moved to lower room by pool was better had to reclean it too. No microwave or coffee pot, fridge didn't work first night, lost food. Stayed 10 nights.Left light on at night. Had people knocking on door at all hours. Didn't leave things in room, took them with me in morning. Will not stay again. Didn't feel safe, only deadbolt, no other latch, put table and chair in front of door. Air conditioner was dirty and musty. Never felt clean or comfortable. No breakfast and I would not have eaten it anyway.
The fact the guy refunded my card immediately without arguing.
Booked 24hrs in advance of a long late night drive from Yosemite, arrived at 11.30pm, got the room key, lay on the bed and wondered if it was a water bed as it the mattress was like jelly. Room was not like photo, smelt of smoke (specified non-smoking), didn't look very clean. Pulled back sheets on bed and the pillow cases were creased to hell like they'd been screwed up in a ball while wet, sniffed them and they did not smell washed, nor did any of the bedding, there were hairs over the pillow cases and in the bed. Went and asked for another room, didn't smell of smoke but immediately checked the bed and the pillow cases were even worse, more hairs so decided to check the bed itself, all along the inside of the valance it was plastered with bed bugs, dead ones, live ones, squashed ones, they fell out when i lifted it up. Place was disgusting and the ppl hanging around outside the place did not look good either. Check for bed bugs if you stay here as both rooms had them, guy at desk pulled a face when informed but just shrugged it off. Needless to say I got a refund and did not stay here.
Location was good air conditioner good bed good
No Ironing board No Coffee maker
Good value for your money and centrally located in Concord.
this was my second time there and the only thing I didn't like was despite my late check in my room wasn't ready. I only had to wait 10 minutes but it's still annoying.
The location was good for where and what I wanted.
Lots of people who were outside and noisy. Towels didn't do any good for drying.
I visit at least twice a month. Most of the staff are very nice. Some of the new staff lately, i'm not sold on. My last visit was not pleasant, especially when you have to argue about having a reservation.
They said I did not call for a reservation. Yes I did! Then, he put me in a double room on the second floor, the price was way too high, and i'm 75! I only need one bed. I constantly ask for handicapped, but it is never available. WHEN I COMPLAINED THE NEXT DAY, I WAS TOLD THERE WOULD BE A DISCOUNT FOR ME ON MY NEXT VISIT. THERE WASN'T!!! SHEETS NEVER SEEM TO FIT THE BED!
Chili's next door. Convenient to freeway.
A lot of seemingly undesirables hanging around. people outside shouting. Security would be a good idea.
Location, proximity to venue.
Noisey parking lot
I was there for a concert, and found the room to be convenient to the venue and comfortable.
They didn't even bother to sweep the floor! A laundry person came and swept it when we complained.
It's a good place to do day trips between SF and Napa/Sonoma Valleys. The room was clean and reasonable, and I felt okay in the room. Staff is very nice and friendly. Concord is a stop on BART, so you can park at the station and ride to San Francisco or Oakland. It costs about $11 roundtrip to Embarcado.
Some of the people walking around made me feel a bit uneasy, but they blocked off the access to parking lot through the office drive through, so they do watch the security of the area. I had to drive a bit far to find a place to eat.
The price is right. Everything that was essential for an overnight stay or longer was available. his hotel will give you what you need -- a child and pet friendly environment. Perfect for folks on a tight budget, and for those of us who came from modest circumstances and have not forgotten who we are. This is essentially a classic 50s style American motel that is well maintained but shows its age.
If you are accustomed to luxury accommodations or you are looking for a premium hotel experience as part of a special vacation, or you don't like sharing a facility with working folks and the salt of the earth, go elsewhere.
