Room amenity is best; clean room with large kitchen, good bathroom and rapid wifi.
Although this hotel seems to be close to the Union Station, it requires too much effort to get to by walk. Note that you need a car.
Dinner and breakfast provided, spacious, clean suits
Heating/cooling unit was very loud.
The apartment was clean and spacious, the beds comfortable, the bathroom etc fine. Furniture not the latest but comfortable enough and inc everything we needed. Parking easy. Staff friendly and efficient.
Only slight aggravation was the rather noisy plumbing, rather strange configuration of the lighting and that there was no kettle among the kitchen equipment, but these are very minor irritations.
Nice appartments with all facilities. good breakfest. Our daughter could also stay a night on the sofabed without additional costs
the location is difficult to find
The breakfast was really very good. Two of the beds were quite comfortable.
The "ADA Accessible room" was NOT accessible at all. The doorways are too narrow. The furniture had to be moved to allow the wheelchair to enter, finally. The place was covered with dead and nearly dead bugs. The bath had a regular tub and no means of entering or exiting for a person with disabilities. The HP parking had no cross hatch aisle to allow for a lift to be used. In one of the other "penthouse Suite" that we had also reserved, there were disgustingly soiled sheets with human matter on them inside the fold out couch. There were insufficient blankets for the pull out couches in all of the 3 rooms reserved. The staff did not inform us where the bedding was located when we checked in and after several trips to the desk with questions and requests, the insufficient bedding was located, but not supplemented. We had to make up the couches ourselves. I would NOT recommend this location due to the poor cleaning, lack of true accessibility and the presence of 2 flights of very steep stairs to get up to two of the rooms, with additional stairs again inside to get to the second bed area. This was extremely difficult for an elder person in our party.
Reasonable location for car drivers Good parking Reasonable breakfast
Poor internet in room Not great value No shops near but can drive back up the road to shops near IKEA
Excellent location. Room was very comfortable. Would stay here again!!
Good value for the money
Take out dinner options very basic
The room was especially clean bed was comfortable and had plenty of pillows
The outdoor insecure walk to the room
Nice people, good location, hot breakfast, roomy accommodations.
Could use a good scrubbing!
They had even a warm snack in the evening - very good!
very thin walls and so a little bit noisy.
Size of studio suite, location
Shower power was extremely weak, and TV did not work.
I liked how it was set up like little houses. The outside can maybe use a little sprucing up but it was fine. Inside was very welcoming I thought the set up was very roomy and clean and comfortable.
If it was winter time or cold weather I would think it's a pain to go have breakfast since you have to actually get dressed to go outside to the guest services
Fireplace, spacious room, well equipped kitchen with real crockery and metal cutlery, laundry facilities, window that opens to allow fresh air in flow and reduce use of the air conditioner, comfortable bed and good quality toiletries. Staff friendly and helpful. Free breakfast and dinner provided.
Not a great location.
I lived 2 years in a place not nearly as nice as this suite. I chose it for its proximity to Metro North; I wish I could have stayed longer
We have stayed here several times over the past two years, with our daughter attending college nearby. This hotel has always accommodated our needs very graciously, and we appreciate the very helpful staff and lovely rooms. The location is fairly close to Yale, within 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic, so that is a plus also. And they allow pets!
The price is a little high, with an additional one-time charge of $75 if you have a dog with you. But the value is comparable to some other hotels in the area, perhaps even cheaper in some cases.
My room size for the price Clean....
Breakfast staff was bossy, Watching every thing, made me feel very uncomfortable.
apartment like room
too expensive for a highway location
Every room is a suite with a full kitchen, there is plenty of space, rooms are fairly priced for the accommodations.
There was a problem with the Penthouse suite I booked so I was instead given 2 individual suites, which was inconvenient for my friends and I. I was given no explanation for why there was an issue, and offered no discount despite the issue. Also, there is no sound proofing in the rooms whatsoever, so don't expect a quiet, relaxing stay.
Comfortable beds in spacious suite at a very reasonable rate. Both breakfast and light supper included, as well as free parking and Wifi.
Location was in an industrial area so you need to drive to go anywhere except Ikea. No restaurants nor shopping within walking distance that we noticed.
great value for the money breakfast was great
location we were moving my son into yale would have liked walking distance
These suites are quiet and clean with comfortable beds. The kitchenette is a plus if you are staying a few nights!
It is not located in the middle of New Haven, but not a far drive or shuttle into town.
The suite layout provides upstairs & downstairs bedrooms which is perfect for families traveling with 3-4 adults.
