The Prescott, a Kimpton Hotel    

Great location! Wine reception in the afternoons was very nice, and the lounge area is cozy. Close to street car line, walking distance to several attractions. Enjoyed our stay very much.

There really wasn't anything we didn't like.

I liked the staff and location. Food was good. Entrance was nice and hotel clean.

The Club Level room location is very confusing since we had to take two elevators to get there. The decor especially in rooms is outdated. Rooms are extremely small. Breakfast was not fully ready at 6.45 so we had slim pickings.

The only drawback was that an ongoing break service on the club floor was not available as it is on the concierge floors in other hotels (e.g., Hyatt, etc.).

The Prescott isn't cheap, but it's worth every penny. The staff was awesome and exceptionally helpful, and the facilities were great. Club level amenities rock!

The king sweet was great. Loved the gym upstairs - most hotel gyms are in basements, and the top floor windows made work outs so much more pleasant.

Friendly reception, a much bigger room than expected, convenient location, and no problem checking in a bit early.

No downsides to my one-night stay.

Good location, good sized room.

They charge $100 a night for incidentals, though don't take this, it takes away from your available balance. Our toilet exploded and although they fixed this, they didn't even apologise.

The location is amazing for exploring San Francisco - especially for us as first-timers. General decor very nice and our room was comfortable. Complementary cocktails each afternoon also appreciated!

Parking/valet charges were high, on top of an already expensive room rate.

We stayed on the club level and I liked the happy hour and breakfast. We also liked the shower.

The room (king suite) and common areas felt tired and worn.

Postrio ran out of Anchor Steam beer both times I stoppped in. In SF you need to have the local beer on hand.
