I choose the Hotel for the location, it is desplaied "near Union Station and easly access to the main attrative sites" That is not the true, is located at 3/4km in dangerous suburb, in front of the hotel main road and on the back railroad. I do not raccomand this hotel to any tourist!!!!! |

It's near a railroad track and the noise was irritating each time a train passed by. It just happened that our room was located at the back side of the hotel. Overall, it was very good if only we had a room at the front side of the hotel. |

Comfortable and clean, staff helpful. It's not easy to walk from the nearest metro station. Taxi fare costs about $10. |

It is a good hotel to stay if you are traveling by car, since the public transportation is not near. Good option considering the hotel rate and location. There is a train line behind the hotel which can be some noisy. Also, the breakfast area is very crowed. |

We had a lovely time in dc because we are in love and got to spend time together. The location was misrepresented; it is not near Union Station. It was far from the Metro and we had to take cabs everywhere. We would not have wanted to go walking in this neighborhood. The breakfast was ridiculous...bad food and badly set up. The room was antiquated. |

We stayed inside at the recommendation of our cab driver and hotel staff..We ordered in as no restaurants are in the area. Location-location-location. The name is deceiving as the hotel is not near Union Station-there was a train track within 50 feet of our window though. It is an unsafe area of Washington DC without easy access to anything. You have to call for cab service. |

The staff was great they kept saying that they were sorry about everything. Yes there was the hotel had to move me 4(four) times. Because the phones were not working and they knew this. Sink was stopped up won't me to stick my hand in water to hold up stopper. Had to settle for aroom with no phone service, toilet leaking. I was not satified at all with the hotel itself. I will not rent again. I went to d c to burry my cousin the stay here was not nice. |

large room, everything clean, friendly staff It's neither "near" union station (as the name implies) nor really close to the next subway station, and at night you might want to think twice before you walk from the subway to the hotel whistling the feeling away that some bad *might* happen. There is a hotel (much more expensive) at the subway station, we ordered a cab from that station/hotel to the Comfort Inn. During the day you can take a bus line just opposite the hotel to the Union Station, not sure if it also runs at night though. |

Room, staff, parking, along access road directly to city center (ca 5 fast kms)... perfect for business or budget city trip (when no evening walks). Good good good, except for the direct neighbourhood... no place for a walk except to a few fast food restaurants along the road nearby. |

Nothing really Its far out of town and the internet ad tells you its close to near Union Station. When its nowhere near the place. Also says there are a few bars/clubs close by, what a lie that is too. There is not 1 bar near the place, it will cost you at least $10-$15 in a taxi to get back into town. |

the clean bright room, the open foyer, the access to taxis, the cable tv the receptionist donald. Whilst not rude he lacked any warmth or enthusiasm. Poor customer skills. Didnt like the disposable plates, cups etc. We need to all start thinking about greener alternatives. Dont actually think you should advertise being close to U Station. Didnt think you were. We started walking to the hotel thinking it was close and ended up catching a cab. |

When I complained about the "non-smoking" room, they upgraded me to a suite and it was fine. It is advertised as "Close to Union Station". It is not....unless you consider a mile or more "Close". I would call it "False Advertising" when you have to pay $15. for a taxi to Union Station. There is no shopping nearby and the "Sights" that most people come to Washington to see, are too far away. |

The beds were comfortable and the room was always cleaned daily. The hotel really is not "near" union station. It is at least a 10-15 minute drive. The hotel staff even advises you not to walk; nor do they provide shuttle service. That leaves you with two options: drive your car and pay at least $8 to park or take a cab (cabs are extremely expensive). The hotel is actually closer to the Florida Ave T stop and even that is a 10 drive or 20 minute walk. We did the walk one day and I would highly advise against it...the area is not suited for walking. The hotel continental breakfast was disgusting. All they offered was bagels, jam and waffles. No butter or syrup available. The bagels tasted rancid and the juice was undrinkable. Needless to say we tried it our first day and never again. |

Staff was helpful and kind. Location was not good. Far away from metro station; the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, and it appears that the particular area is not that safe. There are plenty of choices in this price range of more acommodating hotels that are closer to washington DC. |

Very little. It was not a good place to stay. Advertising is not honest! It cost me $13 for a taxi ride to the hotel direct from Union Station. That is not near.Hotel is old and run-down. Furnishings are old and worn. Lifts are slow. Shower in my room broke and I had to shift rooms. The free breakfast was terrible. The ran out of many things that were not available for the three days I stayed there. No butter - no coffee - no no syrup - no hot chocolate. When I complained thay said that because it was a holiday weekend they coon not reorder. Not my problem. It was not a good experience. |
