Wonderful staff. Very clean.
The warmth from the staff members
The size of the room
Breakfast, bed, shuttle bus service, comfort, cleanliness, stuff - good Indian guy in reception, etc.
Problem with public transportation.
The staff was happy, helpful, and friendly!! Everyone said hello, offered help if we looked lost or confused or anything. The room was clean and neat and tastefully decorated. We requested extra towels, extra pillows got them promptly. These were hard working regular people that made us feel very welcome. If I ever go back to DC I would go back to this Quality Inn. Very good hotel for regular people on a budget. Atmosphere was quiet (no noises in the halls etc)
The building is old and it showed in spots. Maybe not the place for someone looking for a 'grand' experience. Water pressure could have been better. The Wifi was iffy in the rooms, best in the lobby, breakfast room, etc.Reception on the TV was not great, but OK for me. The location is not really suitable for walking at night, (make Union Station ground 0 for sight seeing & use the free shuttle)
The staff were awesome...but not enough to make up for the slum this place is.
The plumbing is a mess...the first room's toilet almost overflowed and there was a patch in the shower ceiling that looked like it was gonna fall any minute. The second room's toilet almost overflowed on the second night and the next morning the ceiling patch in that shower did fall down...but not before the upstairs shower leaked into ours. The worst!!!
Friendly staff. Proprietor followed up by email as soon as booking was made to confirm preferences.
Wi-Fi signal was very weak in my room. But strong in the breakfast room and outside.
the hotel was loacted in a really unsavory / bad area of washington, when people in washington found out where we were staying advised us to leave and find another hotel, it appeared that several prositutes resided at this hotel as well as what appeared to be drug deals were occuring in the car park. The staff told us not to walk anywhere, and to not catch the local bus as the bus stop is where the homeless people are. The shuttle bus to union station ia only an 11 seater and we had to wait upto 2 hours to get on it.
We like the room and beds was comfortable. The room was clean and nice. In this busy city is really nice that they have a shuttle to the union station
There is a trein behind the hotel and you can hear every passing trein. So that wasn't good for quality of sleep. You have to choose room in other side. The wi-fi was very slow on 7th floor.
Thanks for a Japanese staff, Mariko, I could call the shuttle from the airport and she helped a lot during my stay. Mariko gave me clear informations so I had a great time! Again thank you, Mariko.
Room was ok, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, and the shuttle service was a big plus.
The carpets were dirty, the elevators need some attention, the other guests were loud and extremely inconsiderate, making noise very late at night and in the early hours of the morning, making it difficult to sleep.
Good breakfast, free shuttle to union station.
No shampoo at the first day, no towel at the 4th day. The bad experience was that at the last night we got call from front desk at 1am and said we ordered 5 movies and didn't have enough deposit to pay it; we have to pay it and we said we didn't order any movie. They were so rude and they told us we will be kicked out by security. We hanged out the phone and waited for security, but no one coming. In the morning the 2 persons who called us at 1 am help us check out and it looked like nothing happened. We felt so strange why they called us and woke us up at 1am?
The free shuttle to Union Station was fantastic. The morning driver was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about the city and very friendly and courteous and it had service every hour for pickup and delivery to and from Union Station. The morning desk clerk was knowledgeable and helped with our questions. All and all it was a good deal for the money and I would recommend to family or would stay upon future visits
Staying on the fifth floor there was a lot of doors being slammed and the carpet at the elevator stop was not very clean.
I didn't like the layout of the suite. When you open the door to the room it opens to the bedroom I just thought that was a bit peculiar.
Neighbourhood is not "nice", the best way to see how dangerous it is considered is to visit Liquor store on the opposite side of the road (half inch glass walls between you and the cashier desk) ;-)
Bottom floors obviously rented out as cheap full time accommodation. Did not feel safe in and around hotel at night. No nearby food. Hassled by random people for cigarettes and money every time i went outside. Wifi very slow.
Location; Shuttle Service; Excellent and Very Friendly Staff
No Swimming Pool; Paying for Parking
Shuttle bus is good however fills up quickly and you may end up on somebody's lap. Good size bedroom
Noisey - you can hear trains passing. It is right on the train like but not next to a stop. Wifi did not work in our room.
Smell of Toilet was awful. Internet wasn't work in my room. The quality of breakfast was so poor. They didn't change my towels, just tidy it up!
Easy to access.free shuttle. Free wifi ..competitive rates.clean rooms..service with a smile always..lots of towels.toileteries.basic but good breakfast.
That the inn didnt have a restaurant. .and you have to walk miles to access a supermarket.theres a mac Donald nearby but the place looked deserted and unsafe
Breakfast was good.
Service was poor,
Price was reasonable
The did not seem to know how to answer questions or did not want to engage with customers. They seemed preoccupied with their own interactions
Free Breakfast and tour bus service.
I was not told that Comfort Inn was now Quality Inn . That made me get lost, thinking I was in the wrong place. I was not told, there would be a fee to park on hotel grounds. I also was surprised to learned, that the hotel was a transitioning hotel. You need to correct your add on the internet.
The breakfast room was clean, the staff friendly.
Shower in my room did not work and at 5:00am i did not a maintenance person there. I did not feel safe standing outside on the curb in that location and trying to flag down a taxi.
The bed, the sheets, towels
carpet dirty, fridge didn't fit in cabinet, fridge leaked, only one light bulb in bath room light. charged three times on my credit card. It took calling booking.com to resolve.
The work out equipment did not work. The staff was not helpful. They didn't seem to know much about anything or this is what they led us to believe. When we tried to get to our rental vehicle early Friday morning the gate was locked and nobody seemed to know where the key was.
