Breakfast was good.
Service was poor,
Price was reasonable
The did not seem to know how to answer questions or did not want to engage with customers. They seemed preoccupied with their own interactions
Free Breakfast and tour bus service.
I was not told that Comfort Inn was now Quality Inn . That made me get lost, thinking I was in the wrong place. I was not told, there would be a fee to park on hotel grounds. I also was surprised to learned, that the hotel was a transitioning hotel. You need to correct your add on the internet.
The breakfast room was clean, the staff friendly.
Shower in my room did not work and at 5:00am i did not a maintenance person there. I did not feel safe standing outside on the curb in that location and trying to flag down a taxi.
The bed, the sheets, towels
carpet dirty, fridge didn't fit in cabinet, fridge leaked, only one light bulb in bath room light. charged three times on my credit card. It took calling booking.com to resolve.
The work out equipment did not work. The staff was not helpful. They didn't seem to know much about anything or this is what they led us to believe. When we tried to get to our rental vehicle early Friday morning the gate was locked and nobody seemed to know where the key was.
The location is great only five minutes away from downtown. clean rooms and really quiet. I would recommend the hotel administration to improve the breakfast and make it more diverse. but in general terms the place is good.
The breakfast should be more diverse and the kitchen closes at 9:30, too soon I guess.
Location is not very good to go anywhere in DC area. Hard to find a cab passing by.
At the time, it was one of the fewest rooms available for a last minute trip; NJ to Wash DC... Our son was contact to take a polygraph as one of the final phases for employment with Dept of Homeland Security. Location was best for travel to K st and 1st.
Room was less than sparkling clean... When we entered the room it had a very 'just vacated' odor like someone had just taken a shower and gone to the bathroom .
The location is good. Parking fee was very reasonable.
The room had a very bad fungus smell. The A/C was very noisy. The pillow covers had someone's hair we checked into the room.
My room was really nice. We had plenty of room. Staff was friendly.
I didn't like the shuttle hours. Check in is at 3pm but the shuttle does not run until 5pm.
A few staff were arrogant and rude. No respect to your calls and quiries. Some of the facilities like door locks don't work I met a few individuals like Mr. Raj who was supportive and polite
Got charged twice for 1 room. Manager refuses to refund for it.
I think this Comfort Inn in particular has lost its quality. The room appeared like the usual but if you pay close attention its wasn't as clean as I'm use to seeing it. The carpet and chair hasn't been cleaned for a while and it shows. The curtain also had lilt on them. Other then that, for a one night stay I slept comfortably.
Hard to identify anything too positive about this place aside from the cheap price. Old, run down, poor location 7 miles away from downtown.
Free Wi-Fi, Breakfast.
Location, Parking Lot felt unsafe, hotel did not have my reservation confirmed from Booking.com.
The manager ,lemo drivers, and all of the staff, made certain that our stay was pleasant. Everyone offered great suggestions so we could make the most of our stay in DC.
No restaurants nearby
Staffs are impolite. We needed to go to another hotel by shuttle bus one night. They are lazy.
It served our purpose as we needed the shuttle (being from overseas). Nothing to complain about. We either ate in the city or bought food and ate it in our room as there is not much outside in the local area.
One night the shuttle did not arrive at Union Station. When we phoned we were told it was on its way but it still did not arrive. When we got back to the hotel in a taxi it was in the car park! But this is the only negative thing we encountered. We had wasted nearly 2 hours waiting.
The staff tried to be accommodating in light of the hotel's short comings.
The hotel location is in a less than desirable location. Although we secured our reservation through Booking.com, my party was grossly overcharged at checkout. I was unable to resolve the issue over the phone so I had to drive 5 miles through DC traffic (which took 45 minutes) back to the hotel to resolve the issue in person. (which took another 30 minutes) Although the issue was resolved, it never should have happened in the first place - request a copy of your receipt and double check for accuracy.
It is very far from the most important things-to-do
Honestly, there were only 3 good points about my stay at the Comfort Inn. 1) the best thing about my stay was the non-traditional continental breakfast, becasue they actually had sausage patties and eggs, 2) The room service attendant because the room smelled clean when we'd return, & the free Wi-Fi that worked perfectly fine.
They say you get what you pay for. Okay, first my reservations were not in the system when I arrived after an 7 hr drive (still not sure if that was on Booking.com or the Hotel). Like most people, I book hotels based off amentities offered. Well, I wanted a decent workout facility, shuttle service and decent parking amongst the other normal must haves! The treadmill was broken/the belt was caving in/unstable (as a manager stated, "Oh my! Don't use that! It's a liability") and the weight stack was jammed so we couldn't use the weights. The shuttle service was a joke! Friday we waited so long that we decided to hike the 2.5 miles. Saturday morning one of the drivers quit in the middle of the shift and the maintenance worker drove us to Union Station. Then Saturday night, we waited for 35 minutes and they never showed so we paid another shuttle service to drop us off at the hotel. Friday night some group threw a "private" party and I was told that I wasn't guaranteed a parking space when I came back even though I was PAYING to stay there! I still have YET to hear from the GM or anyone from Comfort Inn & Suites since I left. Let's put it like this, if they called and offered me a complimentary weekend stay at that particular location I'D HAPPILY DECLINE!
Shuttle and breakfast
Prompt response when we complained about the shower.
Carpet seemed like it has not been cleaned for ages!
