President Hotel  

The main bedroom was large, but the bathroom was tiny.

The Hotel looks stylish from the photographs but in reality is more budget than design. You get charged a $50 deposit when you arrive. Best pay that in cash so you get it back as soon as you leave. You also pay $15 per night extra to what is advertised on the website.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean.

The hotel is noisy - you can hear a lot through the walls - especially if you are situated close to the elevator.

I liked the interior wall hangings (large paintings on the bedroom walls) and the light glass doors ont he bathroom

They do not have an inviting attitude when you come in, and in fact are in some cases offensive! Further they have an extra $15 per night charge that is not mentioned on their listing! They are complete cheats! Be aware of this extra charge, and be weary of their pricing. They will not let you stay unless you agree to pay this charge upon arrival and then they further will not refund your money day of because you did not cancel early enough in advance so make sure when booking that you understand that this "resort fee is there" if you plan on the extra $15 per night and are really just going there to be close to the beach you really cant beat the location by much. also note that check in isn't until 3 pm if your used to earlier check ins at other hotels.

the beds very hard and NO solution so if you paid for more than one day there was no refund and they did not havve another mattress or anything to fix the problem simply an oh I'm sorry!!!!!

The photos on the internet do not represents the true look of the rooms and the lobby. The walls are paper thin, we changed room because we heard even the breathing of the neighbour. The staff did not give late check up option however the website says there is. The room is ran down and the air condition is old and dirty.

The location, the bed

Great location in the Art Deco District one block from the beach. Interesting though spartan rooms. Excellent shower. Large circular bed with adjustable green lighting was a great touch. Good housekeeping service.

We upgraded our room to their top of the line room and a dresser would have been helpful to put clothes in as it was hard to keep clothes in the suitcases all the time. The artistic circular bed was a bit too firm. Parking everywhere on Miami Beach is expensive and rare and at the The President it was no exception. I didn't like a mandatory $15 charge for breakfast and drinks for two each evening though this was a good price for what was delivered.

it is conveniently located and the rooms are nicely decorated. Near the hotel there is a parking, right in front of the hotel there is a valet parking.

The feed back provided by other guests contained all the information you have to pay attention to prior making the reservation: - air conditioning are very loud; - the walls are thin and you can here everything that happened in the next room as well as on the street.

The location of President Hotel could not be better. Right on Collins Ave, where all the action is, and 1/2 a block from the beach.

There was a lot I didn't like about President Hotel.

Location was very good, central to beach, art deco area and shopping/eating areas. Breakfast (continental) was included and a free drink at happy hour. Good water pressure for shower.

At times it was very noisy in the room, walls thin, could hear people outside in hall or in the room above. The beds were also very noisy, very loud creaking every time you sat or lay on them. Very small bathroom.

Great location, fun place to stay. Cool trendy decor. Nice pool.
