Breakfast - or lack of No fridge - old and noisey had to switch it off at night Noise from other rooms Noise from water pipes Damp patches on bathroom ceiling Paint on bathroom sink Decoration looked like it was completed by owners Wii fii kept dropping out
location with parking
smell, comfort, noise, bed, breakfast. broken coffee pot, no coffee in lobby. old danish for breakfast.
The beds were decent, not too hard or lumpy. The free breakfast was passable. Real OJ at least. Although the danishes were packaged, they were at least fresh and not all dried out. IHOP right next door for non for a non danish breakfast. I think these guys would be better served to ditch the free "breakfast" and in room coffee machines. You've got an IHOP next door do a voucher for that if you can. The spend some cash on better WiFi routers and some electric kettles with freeze dried coffee and tea bags if you must. The coffee would taste about the same for less outlay and people would be happier if the free WiFi actually worked. All in all, it was not bad for what it was, just a little disappointing that the claims were not entirely accurate.
The free WiFi was a joke. There were two WiFi services available but you could never get them. One you could only pickup if you were outside and the other never showed up, meanwhile we could find the WiFi from a hotel two blocks up the road just fine. The elevator was a bit creepy and service record was out of date with a temporary service granted for last year. The free breakfast was white bread kept in a little drawer, packaged danishes and coffee flavoured water. The in room coffee was basically flavoured water as well.
The only thing I liked about the stay at the Presidio Inn is checking out and never coming back!!!
The tv and wifi didn't work. I hated the overall experience.
3 flights of stairs, no elevevator room did not feel clean, poor temp control
Noisy with no barrier from busy street, Limited parking, poor breakfast, dingy atomsphere.
Close to the Golden Gate Bridge and other attractions.
Breakfast consisted of toast, and not much else. There is too much noise in the rooms coming from the other rooms, especially from above. Parking is limited to about twelve spaces for twenty four rooms. A portable fan in the closet is your air conditioning for the summer. In our room there were ants in the bathroom.
Bathroom was clean.
Room had cigarette odor even though all rooms are supposed to be smoke free, room needed repairs/upgrading, parking is inadequate, continental breakfast was very poor.
The place doesn't look clean as the pictures online. Our sink didn't work and the shower was leaking I have to ask for another room and the manager said at first the he doesn't have any available but when I told him the I want my money back he found one, just because everything was book I couldn't change hotel. Room really noisy and the carpet and shower doesn't look clean at all.
The price. Really cheap. Good location. Walked to the pier from our hotel.
PARKING! The man on the front told us to not park behind the zipcar place, so that left about 6 spots! We left our car there and just walked everywhere. The man in the front was rude. The toilet had a hard time flushing....very annoying.
Funiture.hair dryer.doorknob.had greese and food stuck in it.also smell the sewer all the time.Very noisey from the street. Carpet so dirty my shoes and feet would stick on carpet.
Location is fine, parking available
Very noisy!!!! Extremely BAD internet, Wi Fi was almost unavailable
the tv was nice.
that was not a continental breakfast. A danish, orange juice, hot chocolate, and sliced bread that you can toast, what a joke.Thier was a fan for air conditioning.
- spacious room with two beds - the bathroom was pretty clean - good wifi connection - free parking - comfortable beds - many bars, clubs and restaurants in walking distance After booking and reading all the bad reviews we were very anxious but we had NO bed bugs (room 205) and it was NOT that noisy in our room
- breakfast was very poor (toasted bread, marmalade, coffee, juice and pastries) - floor in the room was not very clean
My room was filthy, crambs on the carpet , and hairs in the sink and tub from previous guests ...carpet is full of big spillage stains. Yuck!!
very weak water pressure in the bathroom
the room had a foul smell, no air conditioning, no fan in bathroom no air circulation, would not tell someone to stay there, worse place ever that I have stayed
No air conditioner in room, bad odor in rooms due to dirty old rugs, electrical wires outside their boxes.
Maid kept it clean!
No AC. No screens on the windows, it was warm in SF that weekend and it's no the most safest thing to do is to sleep with the windows open but we had no choice. Also, they only gave us 4 towels and then we use one or 2 and they do not replace the towels. The guy who runs the hotel is awful. Super unfriendly.
Clean and comfortable
A little exspensive for the age and decor.poor breakfast
Staff were polite and reacted to our objection on the poor room provided (see comment on what we didn't like)
Positioned on Lombard St - 24 Hour 6 lane traffic. Despite asking for a quiet room, initially, we were given a room right above the road, first floor, could NOT have been worse. Room was dingy, had a funny smell, stain on the mattress from vomit (or worse). 'Breakfast' was a box of Danishes placed next to coffee machine, some of which had mould on them. Nowhere to sit and eat, apart from an old bench and table, outside the reception, right by the road. Lift malfunctioned and certificate of compliance expired 2010 (4years ago) No Aircon, Permanent Hobo in vacant adjacent building matched the ambiance of this rather run down hotel and neighbourhood.
I liked the location, the receptionist was kind & helpful.
What was frustrating was that there was no airconditioning unit in the room & the wifi wasn't that good.
Everything, there is absolutely no air circulation in the hotel room, it was very stuffy , when u open the windows there were no screens, the manager said there was a shortage on fans. Very rude, and unconcerned. Not a good place
Close to shops, transport and not far from fishermans wharf. You get what you pay for, it is a cheap motel.
Air Con didn't work, sheets and towels were old and thin, carpet very dirty, have to wear shoes all the time and the Wifi wouldn't connect.
