The room was mostly clean, and in a really convenient location to Purdue University. Our grand daughter was graduating and we went down to watch her.

The bathroom floor was very sticky. Not sure why, but I was very glad I brought slippers because I would not have walked barefoot in the bathroom. There were not enough towels and had to call and ask for more. We were fortunate not to have to rely on a wake up call, since it never happened. We had requested a 6 AM wake up and it didn't happen.

Clean but very tired. No coffee or hot water for breakfast. Drink machine out of order.

My key never worked at all, had to have them let me in the room every time, breakfast wasn't much...so passed on it. Very, very dated rooms. My room was like 50 degrees when I got there and it took about 3 hours to warm up....pepto bismol colored tile in bathroom....you get the picture.

Inexpensive with clean bathroom. Free breakfast was a bit meager but for the price what I expected.

Breakfast room was not set up. Ended up grabbing a packaged bun and going back to my room to make coffee. A bagel ,some cold cereal , or toast would have been nicer.

Stepping into the room, I was overcome by the smell of cherry cough syrup. I assume it was attributed to some sort of air fragrance or something of the like, but it was way too strong. The toilet was set on broken tile so that sitting down made it rock forward, then it would rock back and forth and there was no balancing point. The shower heads are too low, so that anyone 5'6" or taller can easily smack their face right into it when trying to shower. Finally, many of the walls were just primed pieces of plywood, contributing to the overall feeling of living in a barn.

No outdoor swimming pool as advertised. Towel bar broken. Parking lot in a shambles. Continental breakfast was pre packaged rolls and coffee. NO coffee pot in room.

The towels were very thin to dry off with and not soft. No blow dryer for my hair. Small room with no decor or art of cheeriness.... Bleak looking. Older sink with rust and no drain stop. Not much counter room. I did not feel real safe because I had to park in the back behind the hotel, which I felt would have been easier for a break in and with no one hearing your cries for help. Toilet seat shifted around everytime you sat down. Breakfast in morning was a roll in a package with either juice or coffee....not what I was expecting. I would probably not come back again.

Quiet ! Not crowded. Manager was very helpful. The room was very clean.

The free complimentary breakfast was very poor - and the only coffee was what I made in the room - no decaf at all. A good cup of coffee would have been greatly appreciated.

Absolutely no complaint for the money paid. The building and appliances inside are aged, but the room smells quite pleasant. Good location by us-52 and easy access to the university.

The manager was polite and responsive.

In my room the wall unit for heating/AC leaked water onto the carpet below all night long, with a drip, drip, drip, drip, even though the unit was off. They advertised a continental breakfast, but there was no coffee when we went for coffee at 8:50am One of my colleagues was locked inside her room - the door mechanism did not work, she could not get out. We called the manager who wsa able to use a pass key to get her out. The manager said they would work on the door and fix it by the time we came back from dinner. We came back, the door was supposedly fixed, but we could not get in despite having a valid key that worked. They had to work on it again and we requested another room and had to move all her things from one room to another. The carpets looked dirty and needed cleaning. The bathtub in my room was unevenly clean. The shower curtain, sink and toilet appeared clean.

I thought the bus system was going to be easier to navigate--more frequent buses, with more frequent stops near the Inn. I was a little bit misled about that.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean with no odor, everything worked, the bed and pillows were comfortable. In my opinion it is a good value for the money if you are visiting Purdue University. However, remember that it is a budget hotel.

The towels were clean and appeared pretty new, but they were clearly budget. No hair dryer in the room. It was available at the front deck. No mini-refrigerator and the a/c unit was pretty loud.

You could see daylight around the door frame whe the door was closed. The toilet seat was broken. The towels were quite thin.

We booked this hotel for many reasons, but I wanted to support a small business instead of a chain.

The hotel was a bit out of the way, but we didn't mind if we supported a local business. The main reason, besides cost, that we booked this hotel was the pool. We used it as a resting point on a long drive, and after 500 miles in the car, I wanted our kids to work off the energy of sitting all all day. The pool was closed--no word of this on the website. When I told the man at the desk (the owner, I assume) that we booked it mainly for the pool, he shrugged uncomfortably. The "breakfast" was laughable: a few wrapped pastries and an empty orange juice container. The chair in our room had ripped upholstery, there were dead bugs in our tub, and police cruisers in the parking lot. Overall, an experience we will joke about in the family vacation experience, but I wouldn't suggest this hotel to others.

Good value for the money. Convenient to Purdue.
