Captain Grant's is a wonderful getaway in the scenic countryside. The rooms were comfy, the breakfast tasty and the billiards room was a great place to relax. The owners were friendly and generous hosts and the history of the property lent to the great ambiance. Mystic is only a 10 minute drive away and offers some great shopping and tasty seafood!

Spectacular, historical and quite, the "Captain Grant's Bed and Breakfast" exudes warmth...The house, build at 18th century offers superb experience with every one of 7 quest rooms. Inside the house, I fined fantastic attention to details - from design, painting, wood's work ext.The owners, Carrol & Ted have lovingly included every house's element with extra touches. Delectable country breakfast, served each morning ( with Carrol home-made bell pepper's jam and the best coffee in the world:) - served outside, where from a spacious porch I could relax, rejuvenated with the summer breezes. "The Captain Grant's Bed and Breakfast" is just steps way to the all attractions and recreational activities in the area. Ellen K, Long Island, NY

Our hosts were just delightful. The breakfast was delicious and very good coffee and jams.

Our room a little small, but we expected that.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Captain Grant's. Ted and Carol really make you feel at home. It was lovely to sit down to delicious breakfast and chat with the other guests. The location is great. Just minutes away from the casinos, wineries and Mystic. We will definitely go back.

    I liked the location.

I booked online and doing so didn't realize there was two seperate inns. We stayed in the original inn which smelled musty and heard traffic all night and didn't sleep. This doesn't mean we won't come back. We would stay in the newer house.

Very nice owners, great location between Mystic, Casinos and wineries. very quaint, rustic feel to the B&B. Free alcohol!

Our room was "sloped" due to the age/angle of the house, breakfast was not as good as other B&B's we have stayed at.

The owners were personable and made the stay memorable! The fact that it might be haunted by 8 friendly ghosts made it interesting along with the decor! I have diet issues and they made me all food I could it and it was so yummy!
