Great restaurant with beautiful view. Game room for kids.
Hotel could use some updating, not dirty but a little tired looking
Position Beautiful scenery
Unaware that Restaurant / Snack bars closed.( sept) Dates needed for O/ S visitors clarifying which facilities are still available out of season and which are not.
Shower head was so old! Water would switch from screeching hot to freezing cold instantly.
Head to the Sunse a half mile away for a Côte d'Azur vibe, but sleep at the Pridwyn for an old school price, and delicious brunch.
Dated decor. Bathrooms in the rooms are pretty grim. Clean, but ancient. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- Hotel is located on a beutiful bay, from which you can enjoy breathtaking views of the sunset if it's not cloudy. - There are paddleboards, cayaks, water bikes and bikes that you can rent, plenty to do - Pool on the premises, and tennis courts - Beautiful terrace overlooking the bay, very serine - Super friendly and accomodating staff
- The hotel is a bit older, which means smaller rooms, and if you are staying on the second floor, you will hear the floor creeking from above, recommend staying on the third floor! - Lunch and dinner at the hotel is a bit overpriced and there is not a large selection, the food is just ok, however, everything else makes up for it.
Staff great and a clean and comfy step back in time. Awesome food
Really beautiful setting... Gorgeous sunsets...
Pricey restaurant with good food but really small portions
Lobby Ambience was lovely- like a step back in time and the restaurant was very nice with good service. A beautiful scenic view from the restaurant and front of the Inn. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff gracious.
The rooms were old with no updating done to bathroom or the room. The furnishings ( bed, sofa, tables) were not comfortable or attractive. The television was small and had poor reception and general ambience of the room was unattractive . The bathroom was old with old fixtures and very cramped. No elevators !!! Very difficult to get to the room.
Peace and quiet, BBQ, Biking
After all booked and now arrive they push a paper to sign with a $350 dollar fine if smoking in house. No witnesses just smell used to convict you. Negociated down but they never had any real costs. The $350 goes to the finks who clean the room and the hotel. SCAM
Our room was located next to the bar and we were not told a party is thrown every wed with a band that plays until midnight There was no chance of rest with our two night stay Just an old noisy hotel with tiny rooms
The staff here was wonderful!! Beautiful views....
The rooms are very old and my view if the back stairs wasn't worth $300.
They were extremely accommodating on every level. Gorgeous place, great service.
Rooms could have been updated.
location,dinner at restaurant,view,bar
size of room, price for the size,no Handicapped services at all. would I recommend? maybe; but only with full info
This place is sold for its location, I understand. The rooms are tiny, with old scratched and all in spots lamps, very poorly furnished and maintained,(the walls of our room had spots and dark marks all around and the door wouldn't lock with the key.. The shower (only standing shower) is nice size, but the rest doesn't say it can beat it price of 489$ per night! The bed also was not comfortable. Breakfast is full, but not exciting. It said that they will have Sunday branch old style..well they didn't. The recreation area had broken pole and half broken pong table. Not much to get busy with on rainy day. Their neighbors though, at Sunny beach hotel had amazing brasserie bar and restaurant, fab food and also great beach, which this hotel doesn't have. The stuff are all very nice, but you pay for comfort and rest, which in this place we didn't meet up to expected. Pity, because this is definitely the best location and place to be..if they can put an effort to renovate and to make this hotel up to the price asked.
Door lock was broken, Shower door didn't close properly because had no inside handle. Room is very tiny for its price. Walls had spots and marks all over Electrical futures had some damages and spots on lamp cups per example, walk in wardrobe was so over used dirty, we were afraid to use, The back wall of the dresser was coming out.. Not a nice look in overall. Everything is old half broken and needs replacement or repair.
The dining room and common areas are quite pretty, and the location is lovely.
Room was tiny and too small for even one person. I was disappointed because it felt like a motel and was just way overpriced for such a shabby room.
Love the food, the pool and the ocean, the way we were attended to , the old world charm
room had a very small tv
Staff was helpful and friendly. Location was wonderful. Plenty of help from check-in to bar to dinner
Little out dated. Needs brighter , summer colors. Carpets too dark. Layout of breakfast buffet. Put it in place away from seating.
View and good breakfast with real maple syrup and homemade donuts
Reception area dark Gardens unkept
Comfy beds, a gorgeous view, quiet, restaurant had great food
They seem very disorganized, room not ready at 3, we finally checked in close to 4 and they came to tell us at 7 when we were eating dinner that our room was ready, why wouldn't they know we were checked in? Food and drinks in restaurant consistently delivered to wrong diners, rooms are too pricey for the service and level of accommodations
Friendliness of the staff Quality of the buffet breakfast View Pool
Rooms are small to the point of being too cramped for two. Exorbitant prices for what you get. Lunch on Saturday and Sunday is limited to an overpriced brunch in the hotel dining room. No elevator Poor sound insulation between rooms
The staff was very welcoming to my wife and I, who were celebrating our fifth anniversary. The views from the room, pool and hotel property were remarkable. The beach is right there and the Sunset Beach restaurant and hotel was a fun walk away. Our only regret was not staying two nights!
The rooms are very, very small but that's to be expected for an historic structure like this on such a small island. Think Manhattan!
Great location. Very relaxing. Delicious food.
Booking process. Should not advertise and book lobby level rooms only to be told we wouldn't be comfortable and should book another higher priced room.
Lack of amenities
