Location and staff
One elevator and very slow
1/2 block from Bourbon St Delicious crepes in Café Conti
As close to bourbon st. as you need to be. Great staff.
Only 50 yards from Bourbon St.
The hotel was exactly what we wanted! Perfect location, nice people, easy access, lovely grand old N'awlins atmosphere.
We did not like the fact that one of the windows was broken, not yet repaired, instead a cardboard was taped there. That would be the only negative aspect of our visit at the Prince Conti.
We enjoyed everything about this hotel. Great place to stay and very close to everything in the french quarter. They own 4 properties in the French Quarter and we checked them all out. All our wonderful. Nice boutique hotels. Would Recommend to everyone
I enjoyed the location, because the taxis are expensive in the French Qtr. The hotel is very quaint and clean. The Bombay Club is right next door. Everything is right near by. Yeah !!!!
You can hear people in the next room. :-(
Service was great !!!!
One elevator and it was hot
Staff was excellent (very helpful, welcoming etc) Comfortable Bedding Location was central everything was in walking distance (i.e. Canal St, Bourbon St, etc)
Entire Hotel Décor needs to be redone and upgraded - the bedding appears to be the only thing this hotel has changed within the past 20 years or more - everything just appeared worn not what we expected for a hotel. The carpet was stained, the light fixtures in the hallway were broken, fixtures in the room were worn, eg tv, table, tv stand, bathroom fixtures etc. We were very happy that we stayed in a completely different room for the rest of our stay we were looking for another hotel. Although the area was Central, for a tourist area, as soon as we stepped out of the hotel the streets smelled awful, we were welcomed to the scent of garbage every morning as soon as we passed the hotel.
Loved the location, staff, and Cafe Conti.
Facilities and furnishings in need of update!
The room was quite and clean, for being so close to Bourbon St. The staff is what makes this hotel exceptional. They were always helpful and courteous, the staff @ the cafe were great and the Bombay Club Restaurant food and service was also exceptional. We will make this a go-to spot when visiting NOLA.
- Right in the middle of city centre, near Bourbon street - Nice cocktail bar in the hotel
- A bit expensive compared to the quality of the hotel, but I guess you pay for behing near Bourbon street - Hotel is a bit old - parking >30$/day is expensive, but it seems to be common in NO
Location, of course. Requested and received an early check in.
Check out was hectic: crowded (only one) elevator, few luggage carts available, 30-min wait for vehicle (as advertised, however).
Close to everything in the Quarter's and one block from bourbon street.
One elevator,no comforter, somewhat of an outdated bathroom, most of the rooms don't offer a street view and the biggest shock of all an old television(no flat screen)...come on man!!!!
Close to Bourbon Street
Late check in
Our room was clean and fresh. The location was great for us. The value was superb.
The showerhead gave very little pressure - that's rough for someone with really thick hair after a day spent walking the quarter.
The staff was very nice! we got there very late at night and they made us feel safe.
It's location in the French Quarter, only 1 block from bourbon street but the hotel was still I a quiet location !
It was a great stay with easy access to events and venues. The restaurant was really good as well. It's a quaint place and the service was nice. They remembered my name and were very helpful with directions. Would definitely stay again.
The walls were a bit thin. We could hear neighbors.
The staff and the room was fab. We were in room 250 that has excellent light and was faced towards Conti street!
Unbeatable location, with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and cheap off-season rates make Hotel Conti a winner. It's an older hotel that my wife and I saw as charming, but the 12-year-old with us said was shabby and dingy. Large bathrooms but rather small rooms. Attached breakfast shop is convenient if not outstanding. The attached martini bar is a welcome quiet refuge from the wilder New Orleans' bar scene.
No street noise, but thin walls and noisy neighbors kept my wife awake. Next trip I would pick a more modern hotel in the hope it would be quieter.
Thought there was a pool but there was not.
