The staff was very fríendly and welcoming. They were very helpful with tips and recomendations. We would definetely stay there again.
Both the young ladies at the front deck were extremely helpful and offered great tips about local places to see.
Perfect location, wonderful staff and food
Not a thing to find at fault.
Charm of the building
Squeaky floors, but I guess those come with the charm!
Great location in-town. Very close to downtown scene. Easy access to highway, but located in a quiet downtown neighborhood location. Well maintained, old hotel. The rooms were very clean. The staff were friendly. The cooked breakfasts every morning in their dining room were outstanding.
Outdoor landscaping lights shining up on the side of the building were sneaking light through the window shades up onto the room ceiling. No other negatives. Nitpicking here.
Overall elegant and historic ambience, friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfasts, wine and appetizers in the evenings, lovely veranda and circular stairs, charming spaces and atmosphere.
Safety issues in bathroom. No handrails by tub. Slippery arable floor with no non- skid rug
Noise in room above and in kitchen below
The restored semi-Victorian hotel atmosphere with feel of a bed and breakfast. The cook to order breakfast. The wine and snacks in the afternoon. You feel as if you stepped back in time.
The tub/shower combo is as close to a complaint we would have.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was served too late. Should start at 0730 instead of 0840.
Elegant charm! loved the history, architecture and staff. Food was great and the outdoor porch is amazing!
Friendly staff, lovely evening wine with appetizers, delicious breakfasts. Old but very clean. Comfy beds, great wifi, relaxing porch sitting
Small bath, in a quiet residential neighborhood-- was looking for something closer to downtown but some may prefer the quiet and drive to shops and restaurants not bad.
The home was lovely and the staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating!
everything, privacy, personal, relaxed, very upscale.
The staff were helpful and very put together. The wine happy hour was a great way to meet other visitors in the hotel. Wonderful side porch and the breakfasts were excellent and a great variety!
Clean rooms Comfortable bed Friendly, helpful staff Nice setting with big porches to relax and drink your coffee and/or read a book
Although the free gourmet breakfast was delicious each morning, the food was sometimes lukewarm or cold.
Enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel has a lot of charm and character, friendly and helpful staff, great food and very clean. I would definitely stay there again.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent every day.
Wonderful staff, great breakfasts, great happy hour, neat building and facilities, extremely convenient.
This was a perfect vacation spot! I have nothing negative to say about th Princess Anne Hotel and will definitely be back. Quaint and charming! Thank you!
Loved the side porch for afternoon refreshments, the location for walking to town and morning walks before breakfast. Very nice breakfast - with three selections and NO BUFFET (hate buffets). Good area for parking. Can't think of anything I did not like
Great hotel with fantastic staff - courteous, helpful, pleasant, and very personable
Staff approachable and very helpful, well cared for site, wine and snacks delightful!!! Breakfasts award winning !! Felt secure good location to downtown asheville .
The suites are beautiful, the staff is warm, welcoming and ready to help. Breakfast was gourmet... First class all the way. Very special place.
That we had to leave.
We loved the character of the hotel and friendly staff! The wine and appetizers in the evening were WONDERFUL!
the loud ac units, I actually used ear plugs. There are not many restaurants close by. A good 15 minute plus walk to downtown restaurants. If the weather is bad this makes it a bit far off the beaten path.
The Princess Ann is a lovely hotel/B&B on the edge of the town center. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Beautiful decor, upscale without pretensions, nice breakfast menu. I will definitely return.
Limited number of rooms at lower price - resulting in having on the unplanned 2nd night's stay a 2-room w/kitchen that wasn't needed. Staff graciously arranged a very good discount, however.
