The Hotel is a beautiful Historical bulding that has been kept to perfection. The staff were curteous and helpful. Our room was very comfortable. The cocktail wines and appetizers were very good. The Breakfast was fresh and delicious!! We will return for our next Asheville trip!!
Loved the historical aspect as well as all the opportunities to lounge inside or outside in tons of private spaces. The breakfast was great and the attentiveness of the front desk staff was superb
Breakfast hours of availability were a little minimal
Nice breakfast and happy hour. We had a very warm welcome. Bed was comfortable and decorated nicely. Loved that there was bottled water in the room. Hotel was very clean.
Would have liked a reading light in room. Light on table was not bright enough to read by. Wish hotel had been in walking distance to town for restaurants and shopping. Area was hilly for walking and we are mature travelers.
Very friendly and accommodating staff facilities nicely layout, quality feel, back porch side porch and front veranda was wonderful, meals excellent happy hour excellent, close to downtown
I had to go to bed too early.
They were genuinely nice and caring. My girlfriend secretely told the staff it was my birthday and at breakfast everyone sang for me! They made a cute waffle cake with candles for me.
The rooms are large and very comfortable. The breakfasts are great, as well as the serving hours. And, how can you not like the evening wine and snacks. Top notch inn.
Large spacious room, beautiful historic property with a wonderful very accomodating staff. The breakfast was homemade and delicous!
Great staff and comfortable rooms
Service, afternoon wine and h'ordeuvres, and LOCATION! Plus bed was comfy and room was quite. Breakfast was included and great ~ also offered us mimosas! LOVED IT!
The facility itself was unbelievably charming. It was not only tastefully decorated but had such a fresh smell. I truly looked forward to the breakfast each day. It was delectable. But by far the most outstanding aspect of the princess Anne is the staff. I don't know how the owners do it but every single person was wonderful. They were friendly and went above and beyond for us several times.
Not a thing.
My adult daughter and I went to Ashville for a break. The accommodations and breakfast were great. Staff was very helpful.
Beautiful, beautiful building. I love early 1900's architecture, so was in the perfect setting...Super nice and accommodating staff. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had.
Really can't think of a thing. What a wonderful place!
Great bed and breakfast. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and staff very helpful.
The friendly and knowledgable staff.
*the quality of the wine and appetizers served in the afternoon *the quality of the breakfast *the young woman working at the front desk let us check in well before 3 pm. Thank you! *location and ample free parking
*Coffee service needs to start before 8:30!!! I don't think I'm the only person that gets up at 6 am! Since there is not a coffee machine in the rooms, there has to be coffee ready for guests early in the morning! I saw several guests leaving between 6 and 7--and they had had not breakfast or coffee! *Bed linens were okay but not up to the standards of other boutique hotels we've stayed in around the world. At least two pillows should be down. Towels were few and thin. *Even until we went to bed, there was a strong smell of cleaning products in our room. We tried everything to remove the smell, but we couldn't. I was nauseating but then we just got used to it. Not very pleasant.
When we arrived we were greeted warmly and were just in time for appies and wine. The whole experience was beyond our expectations. We were travelling on a 3 week road trip and stayed in several B & Bs. This was the best by far. The breakfast is unbelievably good.
Beautiful, quaint, historic hotel near downtown and short drive to Biltmore Estate. Incredibly clean guest rooms and common areas. Front desk staff very knowledgeable, personable and helpful. Beautiful gardens, porches, sitting rooms and dining area.
We didn't have time to stay longer.
it was immaculate! it was quiet and cozy. the free breakfast and the afternoon snacks were delicious. the innkeepers were very nice and helpful. it would highly recommend it to my friends
Very helpful staff in an older and elegant hotel.
AC is a bit blowy in room. Didn't care for the sink in room rather than bathroom.
Great location for walking in to town. Beautiful accommodations and excellent hospitality and service!
This B & B is exceptional in every way! We had a sitting room with kitchenette, beautifully furnished. The grounds beg one to relax! The staff accomodated our very late arrival and departure. We had a lovely breakfast served with table linen-- not a self-serve buffet, and wine and hordourves before dinner. We highly recommend this property. It is located just a few blocks from I 240 and downtown Asheville. We view the Princess Anne as a future destination!
We loved every detail of this property and we are very seasoned world travelers! The part we didn't like was that we could only stay two nights! We will be back!
The ambiance was great and the building beautiful. Friendly helpful staff. Quiet location close to downtown. Charming.
Staff and breakfast and happy hour
The price was a bit too high
Not much water pressure for shower
Loved the building, staff was incredibly nice and professional. Can't wait to go back.
