Decently sized rooms. Great location, downtown area. Walking distance to many good restaurants.
In the middle of providence.
The bed wasnt as comfortable and the room was out dated.
Clean nice old charm but super renovated great value
The bed was wonderful (I have back issues, so I notice this!). The staff are so friendly and professional! It's within walking distance of great entertainment in the city. It's a luxury treat at a great price! The attached restaurant, McCormick and Schmick has incredibly good seafood and other dishes!
The bathroom didn't have a good shelf for toiletries (too small).
Such a great hotel - in the perfect location. Very luxurious. We love to treat ourselves to a night or two here every once and a while.
The people were great.but one problem. The room took to long to clean. Let at 1000 and return at 2 and still not clean.

Location and the price.
Heating wasn't working properly so the bedroom in our suite was hot, the living room was cold and there was NO heating at all in the bathroom! It made for an unpleasant shower. The wifi was weak.
Paying 30$ to park
Location was great...staff was super, food was delicious, the hotel was clean...great air/heat system, bed was great!
Poor lighting in the bathroom, no fan or ventilation
Cleanliness, location, comfortable beds, character of the hotel, size of the room (junior suite w/ double Kings) and got a great deal on booking.com
The room had a funny chemical odor when we first arrived. Had to open a window (37 degrees!) to air out a bit. Also, pull out sofa in suite would have helped.
The king size beds were very comfortable. The rooms were very large and well laid out. The bathroom was nicely appointed. The gym was well equipped. The rooms were extremely quiet all during the night. There were many elevators that were very quick to arrive. McCormick & Schmick's is in the lobby and offered fantastic meals including a wonderful traditional Thanksgiving dinner. I have stayed in Providence many times and will definitely use the Biltmore when I return.
Housekeeping did not come until late in the day. There is no fan in the bath area of the bathroom so it became very steamy during showering.
The bed and room layout
Mmmmm the bathroom a bit small and no shelf space.
The large and well equiped apartment
The hotel is located in the business area
There is a Starbucks in the building
Rooms are in disrepair, the key system does not work, the staff does not concern itself with customer service, the staff is not trained to handle fire alarm protocol, the waiters in the restaurant won't shut-up, the valet is slow and must be reminded to get your vehicle.... and many more. The one thing they get correct is getting your payment... but check your bill!
The lobby was freezing. The Biltmore needs revolving doors to keep the cold air from rushing in.
Housekeeper wake you up early
I love the surroundings and the absolutely wonderful staff, who cater to my every need!! It is so nice to be pampered and treated with respect, in a luxurious, timeless elegance. A grad experience and a great getaway! The food at McCormick and Schmick is superb, even for breakfast!!
I can't think of anything!
location very comfortable beds large renovated rooms kitchen
Restaurant really dark and dreary. Lobby, although nice historical details could use a little update. Very dark. Expensive valet Spa does not have sauna/steam
The house car is convenaient The suite is great
Beautifully appointed, large rooms. Very comfortable and relaxing. Super restaurant with very friendly staff. A very convenient location, right downtown in this lovely little city. We had a most relaxing two nights here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Location to the theatre (PPAC). The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The beds are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in as far as hotels go. Room was gorgeous and very clean. I forgot a bottle opener and called room service. They brought one right up.
Hotel car doesn't run on Sunday.
I loved the bed, pillows and linens. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location in a beautiful historic building.
It was a great stay, wish it could have been longer.
A nicely restored elegant older hotel, has a charm that newer buildings simply cannot duplicate.
Best bed ever!
The Bar had friendly and prompt service, as well as some unusual and amazing drinks. All enjoyed in a nice atmosphere.
The service in the restaurant was extremely slow! A 90 minute wait to be served a simple dinner is too long. The waitress we had should enter another line of work. We waited over 5 minutes just to be seated. We waited around 15 minutes for the menu's to arrive. No bread or water was served. Then we waited for the waitress to return to place our order (another 10 minutes). At this point we had 30 minutes in waiting time invested. We were tired and hungry and asked for some bread and water, a very small plate of bread finally arrived around 15 minutes later. We then waited for our dinner another 30 minutes. At this point we had waited over 75 minutes. We were joking about them running out to the store to buy the food. The dinner finally arrived around 90 minutes after we sat down. The dinner was well prepared. The staff seemed very preoccupied with other things. It felt like the patrons were considered to be an interruption to be avoided.
