The King Suite was amazing and perfectly set up.

The King Suite was amazing and perfectly set up. It had plenty of space and 2 separate ac/heat units so we were able to keep both rooms at the perfect temps. The shower was great for pressure and hot water settings. The room had 2 big tv’s and living room side had plenty of seats and a great couch as well. There is a club attached to the hotel with live music which was great and the hotel had a small bar with an amazing Bartender. He was funny and could hold a great conversation with all of us at the bar of all ages. The price for drinks wasn’t too bad either. Some of the things I didn’t like was the pricey breakfast as they do not have a buffet style you have to order individual items off a menu. It cost us $50 for 2 people to have breakfast and a coffee. Also the pillows on the bed were not that great, they could use an upgrade for the price you pay to stay here. All in all it was a fun hotel stay and was great to see all the staff smiling and willing to help/answer anyone’s questions. The hotel is run by good people you can tell by the quality of the staff. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip back to RI.

Providence is an amazing art and culture city that has a million things to do, from big museums, a large mall and great restaurants, all the way to small book stores, bars and galleries tucked away everywhere. Plus, it's small and you can experience the city, the beach, the forest, all of Rhode Island quickly and easily. Plus, a great LGBTQ+ scene in a very accepting environment

    The trip was great!

The trip was great! A weekend is a nice amount of time to spend. The food is really good, try Nicks on Broadway and sit at the bar to watch the kitchen. The zoo is wonderful, make sure you ask when the elephants will be inside. Gather Glass was another stop to make ornaments, really great group and a fun experience. Would highly recommend Providence for a weekend stay!

Providence is a nice small city with several universities, including Brown, which we went to for a graduation. It is very manageable to walk around, is very proud of its old buildings (many old homes) and protects them with historic preservation status. Many have plaques with names and dates of construction. It is also near Newport, Wickford, and Jamestown and all the history associated with those port cities and their wealthy patrons.

We went to a show at the providence performing arts theater, what a beautiful retro venue! We had a bday dinner at the capital grille, impeccable experience. Had drinks later at Barnabys pub and a local Irish pub... both places were very comfortable and welcoming.

I hate staying in hotels that are small, old and off the beaten path. The Dean hotel is all those but I loved it. From the original floor to the outstanding attitudes of the workers, I wish I could have stayed longer. They were so helpful in telling me some good places to eat and see. I will surely stay there again the next time I'm in Providence. I can't say enough about this hotel. You have to experience it to know what I'm saying. Make sure you eat at Murphey's pub which is right next door. The house pickles are fantastic and I can't say when I've had better fish and chips. Take the time to walk downtown and see the sights . So much better than driving.

Right in the center of the city - just a short walk from the Amtrak/commuter train station, Kennedy Plaza (central bus station), downtown and the rivers & canals. Plenty of restaurants, shops and things to do. - The Brown U campus s about 15 minutes away, if you are college-shopping or attending a conference. The staff is universally friendly, helpful and knows the area very well. Rooms are large, comfy and clean, and with great views of Providence. Breakfast is available daily from effectively an in-house Starbuck.

An amazing old house (mid-19 century) that would definitely be interesting to see how these houses look from inside . Well located on the main street ( Broadway) within 20 min walking distance to downtown. Has a private parking with 4-5 places and several good cafés nearby. The district is quiet. The owners are welcoming and are very comfortable to communicate to. The house has a history , so if you are interested - it could be a bonus.

Great service and very close to the train station and other top downtown attractions. Upon noticing my birthday from my ID, the receptionist upgraded us to a room with the State Building view right out of the window, didn't expect this. The bed was extremely comfortable. Since there's no secured bike rack (we are bikepacking for the weekend), the Hotel secured our bike in the luggage storage daily.

The overall experience at the Hilton in Providence was enjoyable that resulted in a comfortable stay during our weekend vacation. The staff was helpful and was able to help with any questions or reasonable requests while we were in our room. The room atmosphere was also comfortable with a larger size television compared to most hotels and a desk in the two-bedroom room.

Hip, clean, newish hotel steps from the pedestrian bridge right on the Providence River. Stylish, playful, and cozy room w/ a comfortable bed and bathroom. A big, flat-screen TV w/ free streaming platforms. Unique common areas and friendly staff. Our room was very quiet and we were able to park in a garage nearby (by the medical school) for just $10 for the night.

We were there to see Hamilton. The location was just a block or two to the Providence Art Center. My daughter was in a cast and walking a good distance was not an option. But the Hotel Providence was so close! And there were restaurants, bakeries and pubs nearby. We had a great day and night in Providence!

Location absolutely ideal for me. Close to the center of so much activity -- near Brown U. campus and within walking distance of downtown as well. Bed was super-comfortable! Also, prior familiarity with the mode of entry, etc., made it all much easier to come and go.
