Location: Within walking distance of colleges, shopping, meals, entertainment. Clean. Good atmosphere.

A small fridge would have been nice as we visited many great restaurants and would love to have been able to bring so e extras back to the hotel.

We had a very pleasant stay, great accommodation, great staff, particularly Alex on reception. Highly recommend this charming hotel.

When I had an allergic reaction at 2:30am, and needed benedryl, the night clerk sent me out to the 7/11. While the adreniline rush I got cleared up the reaction, the 7/11 had no benedryl and it was a pretty scary experience for a 60-yr old single woman, unfamiliar with the city at night. Also, water dripping from the ceiling right next to my booth at breakfast

The staff at Hotel Providence was very attentive and professional. The room was well appointed, clean, spacious and comfortable.

You have to pay $28 to park at the hotel. There is cheaper overnight parking across the street.

Cozy, charm of a small hotel in the middle of theatre district. Loved the bathroom and the workout room was perfectly adequate. Personel were helpful and very polite.

Quite a lot of street noise at night...more so than other city hotels that we've stayed. We realize it is not the hotels fault though and would just request a quieter room location for future visits.

Good for business travel, this hotel is in the heart of downtown Providence. It's an historic building with lots of old-era charm. It's very easy to get anywhere and is just a short walk to Brown University. The hotel is clean and it has free wifi. Didn't stay long enough to experience any of the other amenities

The building is smaller, and thus cannot accommodate many typical amenities that one might experience at a holiday inn (e.g. pool), but that's something you should not expect in a downtown hotel.

Location to dunkin donuts center, shopping, restaurants. Like the boutique feel v major hotel. Friendly n helpful staff

Valet parking excellent. Very accommodating when I needed to go into the hotel for just a few minutes. Front desk staff efficient. Room clean and very comfortable didn't have a chance to try the restaurant.

The hotel had a less mainstream feel which we enjoyed.

The room pictures posted on the hotel's website were much nicer than the room we stayed in. So we didn't feel like we were getting what we paid for. There was also a lloud bell chime outside our window from a church that rang every hour from 8am to 10pm. No sleeping in!

Noisr in the street on Sat night

All staff have been extremely friendly and accomodating. The rooms have always been very clean and very comfortable. Hotel areas are quiet and inviting.The food in the dining area and bar are all high quality and tasteful. Nice stay and fair in costs. I try to stay here everytime I am in Providence.
