Score from 151 reviews Very good
The staff was friendly and courteous.
The distance to town was a bit far.
Not much. Breakfast was not fit. Fruit was best part. Cannot screw that up much
Pricey and far away. Door banged all night when windy. Heat was hard to control. Desk folks were rude and very uncaring. They treated us like we were lucky to be there. Do not stay here.
The continental breakfast, having a refrigerator and microwave in the room was a plus!
Property has been up-dated to the best of current standards
Type of room for à family: 2 separate bedrooms . Good location , center easily reachable by foot
Perhaps some more seats ( just 3) to have in a room able to welcome 6 people !
Lovely room with large comfortable bed and good arrangements for sitting during the evening. It was much better equipped and cleaner than we probably expected from what was a motel rather than a hotel that we had previously being staying at. The staff were very helpful and we were made most welcome
Breakfast arrangement was not ideal.Sitting outside around the pool in mid October?? Otherwise you have to take your food to your room. We were told that this would change in 2015 when a breakfast eating area would be built
The bed was so comfortable.
The location was a bit far out of town.
The value for the money and the reasonable walking distance to the center of town. The staff was very courteous and helpful.
As the third weekend of October, the weather was a bit chilly on our third day but that is our fault for having an anniversary so late in the year. We must return when it is warmer so that we can enjoy the poolside scene.
Good continental breakfast. Nice heated pool. Liked the barbeque grills and even a volley ball court.
Hot water was turned to full hot in the shower but could have been hotter. Room 122.
cleanliness,breakfast,and above all staff
Friendly staff, good free breakfast, clean rooms, convenient location.
Everything was excellent. Good Breakfast.
Orange Juice would have been nice.
We had a wonderful time at the hotel and could even enjoy the heated pool twice. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and we could easily stay an additional night. I highly recommend the cape colony inn! It is a bit out of town but easily accessible by walking a bit. Rent some bikes!!
The breakfast was good but there is no space to sit inside. We sat outside by the pool once and took it to our room the other morning, which was fine so only a small minus here.
Everything was very nice.
I didn't rate my quality of sleep poorly because it was perfect up til about 7 am when it sounded like construction was going on above us. Not sure if that was the case or just very rude tenants. The loud pounding went on for about 2 1/2 hours. Oh well everything else was perfect. Thank you!
room was quiet inn was within easy walking distance to shops
the reading lights over the beds didn't work
The new owners have taken old and tired and made it new and fresh! A truly great find, we will definitely go back! Weather did not afford using the outdoor heated pool or patio furniture which would have been perfect for having cocktails!
Liked everything about the hotel ... bedding was excellent, room was large and clean. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Continental breakfast was convenient but carb-heavy.
MY WIFE IS PARTIALLY DISABLED AND THE PARKING OUTSIDE MY ROOM DOOR WAS A BIG RELIEF.
A bit out of the centre - about 15 walk to bars and restaurants but a lovely walk
location was great, easy to get to restaurant or shop. Beaches were probably only ten minutes away.
I always like a pool especially an indoor pool to help me with my arthritis. The hotel offers an outdoor pool which is kept clean, but I wish it was an indoor as weather was kinda cool.
Clean, quiet, fairly good breakfast
Beds wonderful. Great restful nights after a day of walking & exploring. Spacious.
A/C could have ten cooler. But nights were cool anyway so we just opened the window.
The ice cream truck made a hit everyone. Also enjoyed the added "touches" such as outdoor fire pit, grills, and outdoor games.
At breakfast, one staff member hovered over the guests as they used the equipment. I didn't feel that was necessary.
