Score from 255 reviews Wonderful
It was tight quarters, but that goes with the style...
Friendly and helpful owners, parking inside compound, very good location for s walk to the Plaza, only steps to the Capitol...
Noisy - street noise and thin walls. Also the bathroom was cramped and old. Lack of hot breakfast.
The location - walking distance to downtown.
Can walk anywhere downtown from here. Also, big rooms,,,felt like being at home. The morning breakfast buffet is wonderful. The owners are fantastic, will stay here again for sure
I love the beautiful old adobe building, and breakfast was the best I ever had!!
Water control valves for bath need updating, and a newer toilet would be helpful.
To say we didn’t like anything would be a stretch, but our only minor complaint was the mattress in the Santa Clara room was a little more clunky than the dreamy vision of the nice firm yet soft luxury quality mattress. My wife is pregnant so we had a couple of more difficult nights as a result.
We truly enjoyed the atmosphere and peaceful surroundings of this very nice Inn. It was easy to stay in and feel that relaxing there was an addition to our vacation. The fire at night was beautiful and our host were engaging, helpful and super friendly they steered us to nearby Bandolier National Park to see cliff dwellings a real treat. Very pleasant!
The hosts, Amy and Herb, are wonderfully welcoming to their guests and their manager, Strelsa, was great as well. Location perfect for walking to the Plaza area for museums, art galleries, restaurants.
I'm at a loss here. Can't think of anything.
Amy & Herb are great. Always ready to make suggestions & answer questions. Easy walk to all downtown sites. Very comfortable facilities.
All is very well and the breakfast is very good
We loved the kiva fireplace that was ready to light with pinion logs. There were so many artistic and interesting touches that made it unique. We were able to walk to restaurants and to the plaza and the compound had off the street secure parking. A plus was the hot breakfast and visiting with the hosts and other guests. There was even a little gift shop in a home like atmosphere. The owners are very knowledgeable in Native American Arts. We loved it and hope to be back soon!
Authentic Adobe style and extremely gracious hosts. Lots of privacy.
our stay was too short
You feel like beeing at home. Warm and welcoming. Makes you feel to be invited by friends
Being charged lodger's tax on jewelry items, effectively doubling the sales tax, did not feel right.
Quiet location, fireplace in room, kitchen, bathroom, everything functional, provisions provided despite having to leave before breakfast officially started.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and caring. The only reason we would not recommend staying is to keep this treasure to ourselves.
Staff really kind, Herb and Amy wanna make you feel like home.
We loved the atmosphere on the room . Breakfast was great.
Could use some updating. Bathroom very small.
It was quaint. Liked the cute fireplace & used it. Close to plaza.
Friendly staff, great building and excellent breakfast. We visited in winter and were very pleased to have a fire in the room at night (as an alternative to conventional central heating).
If I had a complaint it would be that the beds need to be upgraded a bit to more comfortable mattresses and definitely need some new more comfortable pillows. Never having stayed in a B&B before I don't know if this request is unrealistic but if I am to be honest this was one thing that did catch my attention.
From the moment that we arrived on December 21 Amy, Herb and Strelsa treated us like family. We were welcomed in just like we were friends coming for a visit. After we checked in we were escorted to our room by Strelsa who told us all about the beautiful B&B, the history and all of the features. She opened our door showed us around our room and then made sure that we were all set before leaving us to settle in. Each time we went up to the office we were treated like family. These folks really know how to run a B&B. I love the fireplaces that are in each room. It was amazing and we want to THANK AMY, HERB AND STRELSA FOR A WONDERFUL STAY.
Room we reserved was given to another party. Property was funky in a not-good sense of the word. Room and bathroom were not quite clean. Wall heater was ugly, old and obnoxious - it clanged all night and kept us awake. Bed was not comfy. Layout of the rooms was cramped and furnishings were mixed - some nice, some of poor design from 1960s-70s, (the cheap stuff). The "adorable" bathtub was small and the plug did not fit the drain, leaving the shower as the only functional alternative. Coffee was not good, particularly disappointing after a sleepless night.
The tamales at breakfast were good. The traditional style fireplace was nice (but you only get 2 hours' worth).
Room small, décor dated. Room upstairs. a little hard to get luggage up since we are a mature couple. When booking it looked like the patio was just out the door. Actually it is down the hall and one for the whole upstairs. Since he smokes was out there quite a bit. The parking lot is crowded and hard to get in and out of.
Staff very friendly. Food excellent, good location
The bed in Nambe was very uncomfortable with a dip in the middle. Probably fine for singles, but not couples.
Staff very nice and excellent breakfast. Location very convenient to downtown.
I loved staying at Pueblo Bonito, it was so quaint and charming. The staff was very attentive and kind, they were very helpful and recommended great places to go to. I would highly recommend staying here, you definitely get the Santa Fe feel in their Adobe style B&B which feels like you are staying in an "hacienda" in Mexico. The breakfast was delicious and we even had a real fire place! It was great!
Clean, friendly, and comfortable. Just a short walk to town. Suitable breakfast options. Lots of character.
