Staff really kind, Herb and Amy wanna make you feel like home.
We loved the atmosphere on the room . Breakfast was great.
It was quaint. Liked the cute fireplace & used it. Close to plaza.
Could use some updating. Bathroom very small.
Friendly staff, great building and excellent breakfast. We visited in winter and were very pleased to have a fire in the room at night (as an alternative to conventional central heating).
From the moment that we arrived on December 21 Amy, Herb and Strelsa treated us like family. We were welcomed in just like we were friends coming for a visit. After we checked in we were escorted to our room by Strelsa who told us all about the beautiful B&B, the history and all of the features. She opened our door showed us around our room and then made sure that we were all set before leaving us to settle in. Each time we went up to the office we were treated like family. These folks really know how to run a B&B. I love the fireplaces that are in each room. It was amazing and we want to THANK AMY, HERB AND STRELSA FOR A WONDERFUL STAY.
If I had a complaint it would be that the beds need to be upgraded a bit to more comfortable mattresses and definitely need some new more comfortable pillows. Never having stayed in a B&B before I don't know if this request is unrealistic but if I am to be honest this was one thing that did catch my attention.
The tamales at breakfast were good. The traditional style fireplace was nice (but you only get 2 hours' worth).
Room we reserved was given to another party. Property was funky in a not-good sense of the word. Room and bathroom were not quite clean. Wall heater was ugly, old and obnoxious - it clanged all night and kept us awake. Bed was not comfy. Layout of the rooms was cramped and furnishings were mixed - some nice, some of poor design from 1960s-70s, (the cheap stuff). The "adorable" bathtub was small and the plug did not fit the drain, leaving the shower as the only functional alternative. Coffee was not good, particularly disappointing after a sleepless night.
Staff very friendly. Food excellent, good location
Room small, décor dated. Room upstairs. a little hard to get luggage up since we are a mature couple. When booking it looked like the patio was just out the door. Actually it is down the hall and one for the whole upstairs. Since he smokes was out there quite a bit. The parking lot is crowded and hard to get in and out of.
The bed in Nambe was very uncomfortable with a dip in the middle. Probably fine for singles, but not couples.
Staff very nice and excellent breakfast. Location very convenient to downtown.
I loved staying at Pueblo Bonito, it was so quaint and charming. The staff was very attentive and kind, they were very helpful and recommended great places to go to. I would highly recommend staying here, you definitely get the Santa Fe feel in their Adobe style B&B which feels like you are staying in an "hacienda" in Mexico. The breakfast was delicious and we even had a real fire place! It was great!
Clean, friendly, and comfortable. Just a short walk to town. Suitable breakfast options. Lots of character.
All of my expectations were met. I would choose to stay there again
My diet is restrictive, so for breakfast I would like more protein/fat options
Everyone was very friendly. Very nice breakfast . Just a short walk to restaurants and shops
Bathrooms were small and the door didn't close without the latch. ventilation in the bathroom was dusty and didn't work properly
Cozy, good breakfast, near the plaza.
Minor issues- bathroom door wouldn't shut/lock. Needed more towels, bathroom & kitchen.
Kiva fireplace-wood stocked in every morning. outstanding breakfast array of foods. very knowledgable staff and the owners were not only friendly, but personable, warm and very very helpful. great location, great facilities, great experience altogether. would stay there again in a second...and plan to come spring time.
pillows too thin.
location, easy walk to all points of interest. friendly, knowledgeable owners. Adobe architecture with relevant , tasteful art as room decoration. full kitchen in suite. outdoor seating in attractive setting . feels rural but within downtown area. excellent!!
Solo traveler made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Breakfasts were warm and social - with the owners serving coffee, sharing tidbits about the area or just being friendly. Room was lovely and private. Easy, safe walk into downtown Santa Fe but set back from the hustle and bustle. Features jewelry from local artists at reasonable prices - worth the prices. I would definitely return!
Only heat in room was a portable heater. Too early in the season to use the lovely corner fireplace (which was a disappointment). First floor room faced the street where there was occasional traffic noise. Kitchen had sink, little fridge and microwave only. It was very expensive.
The location is ideal. It is within easy walking distance to all points if interest. Staff went out if their way to be welcoming and helpful. I love the old architecture.
iT WAS CLOSE TO EVERYTHING .WAS NOT COLD ENOUGH FOR A FIRE BUT A NICE TOUCH.
THE BEDROOM WAS A LITTLE SMALL. THE KITCHEN DID NOT HAVE DISHTOEL OR WASHING UP LIQUID.
Great breakfast. Quaint facility. Old fashion look.
Bathroom was tiny. Room was a bit small.
Room was comfortable, breakfast tamales delicious, staff friendly and helpful with maps, restaurant suggestions, etc.
It wasn't quite as close to downtown as we had hoped, but the walk helped us work off all the good meals. It took about 10" to walk in to town.
This B&B was within walking distance to all of downtown Santa Fe galleries and restaurants. The breakfast had good choices and parking had good access to rooms. The buildings used to be horse stables and have been converted to little adobes which was cute. Very clean rooms.
Too much furniture in tiny rooms. The only mirror was in the bathroom - I like being able to check out how my outfit looks - you know like no skirt tucked in my panties sort of thing. The back of the units are facing a very busy street and lots of traffic noise.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was ideal
Breakfast could have been better. Eggs, pancakes or a meat choice would have been nice
Location was ok.
Breakfast was not very good. The cost for two nights was extremely high.
