weak wifi awful pillow no kettle
Perfect location (between two subway stations), very clean, hot and good shower, my bedroom was for 6 girls but I just got the maximum of 3 girls in one night and the kitchen is very organized and cute!
Very clean hostel, nice staff, had all facilities that I needed. The location was excellent: with the metro just a few minutes to Manhattan.
The check-in time was quite late (4pm). If you want to store your bags after check-out, you have to pay 5$ for each 2 bags (why?).
Very close to the subway to take the E train that takes u to The best places of Manhattan in only 15 min and only one Train plus airtrain away from JFK
Toilet a but small but not a problem for me. You can hear the train outside but it wasn't annoying and didn't stopped me from sleeping.
Checked out day $5 for a piece of luggage storage
Great location easy access to major spots.
If you are on upper bunk bed, you don't have a easy access to outlets(power points). You might want to bring a extension cord. Sounds of subway at night is too noisy. It is not underneath the ground. Facility was good enough
The staff is great. Always smiling and in good mood
After being a week there they wanted to charge me to keep my bags until I've had to go to the airport.
5 dollars for each luggage stored!!! It's ridiculos...
location not far away from subway station; value of money is good; base floor kitchen has plenty spaces; they have maps.
there is no water boiler in the kitchen, guests are using pans for hot water. they charge USD5 for luggage storage after check-out. they will charge 10% when booking the bed
Convenience to Manhattan.
Most hostels have tea and coffee, bread and cereal for guests to make their own breakfast. This place did not have anything. The hostel was very noisy because of construction and subway trains nearby.
Clean Individual baths inside the rooms Wide living room Near by the subway
Little bit noise due being close to a air train line, but not that ruined my sleep
-some windows you cant open - bad employee named Justin - so loud because of the trains and traffic around, there is also construction
Rooms are very clean The staff are attencious few metters from a subway station
Nothing so far
location, staff and the room is very clean.
wifi is poor. also a bit noisy because of the train
They charged 5 dollars for luggage storage. Room was so small for 4 people.
Big noise,bad sleep time
Low price, near transportation, near Manhattan
Very noisy with elevated trains running by.
- Very new, clean and comfort sleep - Only 4 beds and with attached bathroom - Near subway - Kitchen and game room - Voucher cards and map provided. - Only few minutes to Grand Central.
- Noise of the construction work - 1 staff at night was cursing and seemed angry when I checked in. But the morning staff were wonderfully helpful.
Room was too small
Really close to subway station Al queen's plaza verinice stuff
There were no computer or tablets available, there was one and it it was out of energy and charger was not available at location
Great spot, opposite a subway stop that takes you straight to great spots all over manhattan. Great set up, comfortable clean and safe.
Quite noisy in the morning, luckily im a heavyish sleeper so didnt bother me too much. Ear plugs provided at reception anyway.
Clean and modern hostel that is conveniently located near multiple subway lines. Easy access to Midtown.
Rooms are tight and roommates loud.
Q4 is in a good location, especially when coming off the train from JFK. Nice modern facilities.
The windows need to be double glazed and soundproof as the constant noise outside is horrendous. Especially when paying $140 for a double bed room. Doesn't make the stay comfortable
The food mess and common entertainment hall was good perk.
Ac was centralised and mostly non functional.
Helpfull staff (most of them) Free wifi Metro station is just a minute walk away, you get quite fast to Manhattan.
We stayed a whole week but our room did not get cleaned up in the whole time. They just made the bed and changed the towels. The bathroom was more than just small, the water in the shower had no power so that showering takes twice as long as usual. No soap for the hands (in a private room - Q4 calls itself not just hostel but also "hotel"!) It is definitly not worth to be called a hotel (e.g.: no elevator, in worst case you have to go upstairs for three floors with your heavy luggage!)
