Front desk staff was very polite
Drunk people in the courtyard yelling until 3am
The staff was very personable; the location was off the main artery which made access the facility very easy. There was hot food for the continental breakfast. I would stay there again.
Bathroom was to small.
The fact that it's right across the bridge from Philadelphia pa which is the only reason we stayed here when our original room at a different hotel was bumped due to poor booking we needed a place to stay to run the Philadelphia 1/2 marathon and we needed it quick!
Everything was lousy & room was infested with fleas & possibly bed bugs, not kidding!! Constant drug & prostitute activity occurring outside our door. The staff were ancient, foreign and didn't speak English. The only American employee was rude!! They refused to discount our stay even though we showed them all of the filth and bug bites. Disgusting!! Thank God we were only there for 6 hours before the Philly 1/2 marathon.
Courteous staff and pleasant music playing in the lobby upon arrival. Relatively nice neighborhood. Fairly close to YMCA, Don Pablos (my favorite restaurant), and other stores/restaurants. Nice accessible AC System. Very enjoyable breakfast selection. Free upgrade to king room.
Doors on ends of hallways did not lock. Maintenance; blown bulb, noisy and tempermental microwave, stopped in sink drain broken, wall edges in need of repair, and fitness machines were all broken. Pool closed even though temperatures were in the mid-80's. Awkward location between divided highway made access to parking lot a little challenging.
Close to venue we were visiting. Desk staff very helpful.
Some noticeable wear & tear in the bathroom.
Pool continental breaskfast, WIFi. Not a bad place to stay if your on a budget, was clean friendly service and had great pool hours and exercise room
Smoking rooms had no ashtrays, Little rowdy at night. Seemed a fair amount of people were regulars so there was a lot of late night get togethers with somewhat loud. After about 11 quieted down.
the beds were comfortable and the hotel is very close to the city central.
The rooms were not so clean. The carpet was dingy. The hotel is in need of a face lift.
cleaning room service, excellent.
swimming pool crowded
The lawn and pool was clean and well kept. The rooms were clean and service was great. The breakfast buffet was good and was at par with other hotels. Loved the refrigerator and microwave in the rooms. Made traveling with a little baby so much comfortable.
The hotel has not been maintained very well and has been allowed to become run down. You could see it has a huge potential, but the non-smoking rooms did smell of smoke as another reviewer has mentioned. The staircases which you need to take to connect between the different wings has not been cleaned in a long time. When we were there it rained and water was dripping through the roof along the balcony.
We got three rooms for 276
One of the rooms had dirty sheets and pillows. They were metal fragments in the Belgian waffles at breakfast and a hair.
Very close to Philly. Gas stations, diner, and supermarket down the street.
The bridge to Philly is $5, then you have to find parking in the city, if you can't, that will also cost you. The bed mattress wasn't great.
Location for where and what I was doing was great, rooms were clean and it was quiet..
Really nothing not to like for the price the value is irrelevant. .
The location is good, as I was visiting Philadelphia and it was 15 minutes by driving
-The room was smelly. -Pillows are very small and dirty. -Bed bugs was having fun. -Floor carpet was extremely dirty and sticky. -The room was non-smoking however many burn marks were found on bed sheets and cover. -I also couldn't sleep because of noise coming from the adjacent road. -There is a nearby "Days Inn" two minutes down the street which I believe is much more better even though for a slightly higher price.
The room was filthy. The original room we had hadn't been cleaned, there were still cigarettes in the ashtray as if someone had just left and all the bedding and towels were stained and dingy. We asked for another room and the second room was still dirty but we chose the cleaner of the two beds since there were obviously no better options. Never again.
Staff was very friendly
Rooms were very dirty, cable was very inconsistent.
The localization is near Philadelphia.
We had to ask to change rooms because the cleanliness was deplorable, the toilet seat was with piss and the chairs and the floor dirty. We made a room upgrade (paying more for it) and this was acceptable, but the towels had hair in it and the cleanliness was lacking. Overall the hotel is dirty, the hallways, carpet, everything.
The price was right compared to what was available in Philadelphia. I saw some maintenance issues but notified the front desk and was assured they would be corrected.
The employees here are friendly and very helpful with directions.
I did not like the broken tub that required my friends and I to hold the tub stopper down with our foot while taking a shower. If we did not do this, the tub would not drain. I also did not like the fact that the main office closes after 12. There is an outside window that can be used to check in but its outside. Taking credit cards or cash out of a wallet outside can be dangerous.
breakfast was good, beds comfortable, quite convenient t get to Pennsylvania-UPenn .
bathroom could have been cleaner, a dirty rag was left hanging on the shower rod, and the screws holding the toilet seat cover needed cleaning . Carpet seen better days , need new iron board cover.
I liked the place so quiet, waking up system, the furniture is comfy,& room has all what u need.
First day there was an old piece of pizza inside the microwave. And some hairs on the floor. It seems they didn't clean the room probably before we come.but after that the house keeping r doing there job well.
Clean for a cheap motel but you get what you pay for in ammenities, broken shower stopper and taped toilet paper dispenser. Very good wifi connection, okay tv stations for good distraction. Comfortable bed and pillows that smelled and looked clean.
Four biker gangs were staying at the place, all were nice and we never felt uncomfortable BUT THOSE BIKES WERE LOUD. Guests were fairly loud, no real insulation between the rooms for sound Also, we requested a second blanket for our queen and staff was unable to supply, apparently the manager doesnt have the same keys that room service does? TACKY furniture....
For what it was worth the bed were somewhat comfortable and we were allowed to sleep late. The area was quiet.
The hotel was seedy and dirty. Stained bedspread (who even uses bedspreads anymore), chairs, cigarette burns everywhere. Filthy carpet and just general state of unkempt. There was a used bar of soap left in the shower and the face towels looked like they had been used and rehung. This is not the old Quality Inn. I had to book this at the last minute because flights were cancelled and everything was sold out. Not the type of hotel I would normally chose, but I trusted that the brand would provide a nice clean room. Not!
Close to the city!
Bathroom and bed could've been more clean.
Close to bridge
The dirty rags left on my window.the fire detector on TV stand and not on wall.the hair dryer didn't work. No ac. That didn't work.the smoke smell in room.
