The homemade jams and peanut butter available at breakfast were delicious, as well as the local fruit, Yum. We had a lot of fun on the 9-hole putting greens. The bed was super comfy.

Our room was overlooking the pool, so our deck wasn't private, there was a lot of noise and people traffic.

We loved everything about our room. The bathroom was spa like, the bed was extremely comfortable , the window suite with a view to the golf course was perfect for morning coffee.

    no complaints at all.

We road tripped down California for the week and can honestly agree that the quail lodge was the best resort we bored the whole trip. The bath tub was beautiful, extremely comfortable beds, and I loved the lighting in the room. The breakfast and dining area was also pleasant! Best peach I've ever had in my entire life, I had to take a couple to go. :) Thank you so much for helping make our California experience the best it could've been!

I honestly cannot think of anything I didn't like about my stay.

No restaurant directly on site but a great Mexican eatery across the street. Edgar's is not the Covey!

Beautifully landscaped surroundings, spacious and comfortable suite of rooms. - we were upgraded which was a lovely surprise. We used the pool and putting greens which were fun for the kids. Edgar's Restaurant at the Golf Club was a 10 minute walk away and the food and service were excellent.

Clean and well maintained outdoor facility.

Poor and uncommitted service in reception and from management. Connected doors between rooms gives a lot of noice. You can easily hear conversation from the neighboor room. Pool and gym well maintained but very close to traffic.

The hotel was very nice and the golf was very good. We enjoyed our experience.

We had an air conditioning unit outside our room. We asked and they did shut it off at night. However, the first nights sleep was interrupted by the unit.

I didn't know if a golf resort would be kid-friendly, but we took a chance after calling and finding out about the pool, bocce, putting course. The nine hole putting course was suitable for even our 5 year old. He got a hole in 1 on the first hole, and is now in love with golf. Pool was awesome and warm. Right next to the clean and nicely done fitness rooms and locker rooms. Our room was spacious with a huge patio (with table, 4 chairs, two chaise), right by the pool as requested. The grounds are well kept, lush, lovely. You walk through the resort on meandering paths, over a bridge, around the lake filled with ducks and a resident blue heron. The rooms are all very private with individual patios away from others. I'd read complaints about the breakfast, but don't believe them! There is the most perfect selection of organic fruits, pastries, cereals, breads, delicious local coffee, juices. Plus a wonderful outdoor patio on the lake to start your day.

Floors weren't super cleaned, and we found our feet dirty soon after a shower. The rest of the housekeeping was impeccable. Huge bathroom with tub and separate shower, double sink.

9 hole mini-putt course was a treat to play. Ground floor suites were great to walk out right into the grounds Grounds were fabulous to walk about. Continental Breakfast in the morning was amazing. I would highly recommend Quail Lodge for a wonderful relaxing stay.

The room was very clean. Food (breakfast) is fresh and organic. The front desk lady (blonde) went out of her way to assist us when we needed help in the Business Center.

The lady (dark haired) who checked us in was not very friendly. Also on our second night, some guests arrived in the room next to ours at 1:30 am and we were awakened by their movements and the closing of their doors; so -a better sound barrier between the doors is needed.

Gorgeous locale, grounds and property, comfortable, spotless room, dog-friendly, excellent restaurant on premises - Edgar's. Putting course, lovely swimming pool, golf course for those inclined, close to Carmel.

Charging $5.00 a bottle for two bottles of water we found in the room. We thought two complimentary bottles of water were warranted, given the cost per night of the room. Also, continental breakfast should be enhanced with some additional items such as a couple of hot selections.
