Our first night stay, the air quality was bad. On the return from an engagement the room smelled like a sewer. The tub drainage was poor, the door in on the bathroom was in poor shape, the toilet was too close to the tub. The hotel should be downgraded to 1 or 2 stars.
The Breakfast was great; It kept us full for the whole day. Great walking distance to the metrorail (10 minutes walk) to go to Washington DC. Will recommend Quality Inn if you are planning to just go to Washington DC!!!
The pool was not open and it was disgusting dirty. The bed we got were too small for both of us.
Clean Good morning breakfast
No refrigerator Air conditioner was not adequate
very outdated, had to drive to the main lobby, no refrigerator, bathrooms toilet was something from an old school. The breakfast was only til 9:30. I could have stayed at a luxurious hotel for 20 dollars more. I would not recommend staying here nor will I ever go to another Quality Inn. I travel quite frequently they have lost a costumer
Good location to everything. Not a bad place to stay for overnight and passing through.
Could use some upgrades. ..furnishings, mattresses, painting. ..insulation is a must.
The area was nice. A couple of blocks from University of Maryland main campus and the nightlife looked great. The free breakfast in the mornings were good.
The room seemed outdated. No mini fridge. The mattress was not comfortable and the pillows were small.
Property is tired
My likes are well described in the earlier questions. I would definatly use the hotel again.
The fact that I was charged up front and missed a days stay. Luckily I knew people in the area and had a place to stay over night. Had I not know anyone in the area I would have been stuck in a city 5 hours from my home.
My stay there was an awesome experience, the staff were so kind and very accommodating to my needs, even housekeeping were Very polite and attentive as well as all the staff, I had such a great stay there especially being so far away from home, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you to all the staff for making me feel at home..
Bathtub was stained and looked dirty. Bed pillows were accent pillows
Close to Metro station, decent breakfast for the price, helpful staff, close to restaurants and shops
no fridge or microwave in the room
Nice area good breakfast.
Totally devastating I was so furious with the room a twin bed and a full size bed."Really" couldn't even put me in another room! SMH....
Really comfortable bed Wifi signal strong and connection fast Value for Money is Unbeatable
Nothing much - really a good hotel
Conveniently located, friendly staff, the continental breakfast was very good. Clean room.
Small pillows, street noise, wifi didnt work on phone.
The price was increased after it was booked. I called the manager and he/she never returned my call. I won't stay their again and won't recommend it
The bathroom was in need of serious update. Gave us the feeling of being uncomfortable. The tub needs refinishing. Was slippery to stand in when showering. Really dangerous - didn't use it the second day.
Great breakfast bar - really, very nice. Thanks!
Nice place, close to the metro to Washigton, with breakfast and a super fast wifi.
Comp Breakfast was good
exercise equipment was dated and not fully operational. Maid service of room was slow.
Rude staff. Outdated facility and amenities. Price did not match the horrible service. House keeping is a joke.
Comfortable beds, rooms were clean, very good breakfast and the hotel is close to many restaurants and other conveniences. The cost/benefit ration is excellent.
Nothing I can remember.
Close proximity to University.
Mattresses, while supportive, were some what uncomfortable.
rooms look very old and run down, but they are very clean. Coffee packages in the room without a coffee maker...
Close to UMD & Metro. Plenty of nearby places to eat, drink & be merry.
Beds were hard as a rock, very uncomfortable. Furniture and decor/bedding rather outdated. Mold/mildew visible on ceiling in front of vanity. Bathroom floor tiles cracked/dirty-looking. Shuttle was a joke! The one guy was always "too busy" or "unavailable". I was stuck walking myself the 20min to the Marriott conference center where my daughter was staying. I scheduled pick up on her last day since he couldn't provide shuttle there to me. He never showed, so my 11-yr old & me had to walk all the way back to the hotel carrying all her luggage in the mid summers heat. Not a very nice experience. Apparently, he had others to attend to, and we were never advised that he would not pick us up. Very disappointing. If you are looking for comfort, do not stay here. If you just need to be close to UMD & aren't spending much time in your room, then it's a good value. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
The staff at front desk were wonderful and very helpful with all the accommodations and answered all questions we had with utmost knowledge very very pleased.
The bathroom was a little scary and tired looking the place needs a remodel very soon, the fridge in the suite was extremely loud so we had to turn it off at night because it just felt like someone is running a diesel truck in the room, so loud. Also the noise outside but then again we did stay in college area so that I guess suits the area. The Wi-Fi was just no good, could not hook up to it and then when finally did the reception was so poor it was almost non existent, so very disappointed in that regard.
That is bad. I didn't spent the night there. Because they don't have a hot water. I'm still waiting for them to give me back my money anyway.
