Motel 6 Carson  

It was a very nice hotel that was centrally located in the Los Angeles area close to all freeways and close to tourist attractions. It has a wide selection of shopping and restaurants. Very friendly staff. The hotel is about half done with a total refurbishing, we stayed here May of 2012 so it should be 100% completed soon. The price is extremely reasonable.

Liked the location- close to our conference and the reasonable rates. We booked 2 rooms and the counter lady put us in adjacent rooms. We asked for new linen and these were delivered promptly. The counter staff cordial.

The staff did not tell us that the one back entrance was barricaded/blocked. We had to wheel our luggage around to the other end. As soon as we entered the hallway to our rooms, we were overwhelmed by strong mold smell. This was not relayed to us by the staff. There was also mold smell inside our rooms. It was already too late to find another hotel. The carpet was dusty specially in corners and edges. Floor vacuumed haphazardly or vacuum cleaner used was malfunctioning or clogged. The carpets in the rooms have not been steam cleaned or shampooed for at least 6 months. I know, I shampoo carpets for a living. The bedcovers and blankets were not washed for a while. Strong dirty smell.

there was not a place to hang up clothes nor was there any place to put away clothes; I had to live out of my suitcase; there was plenty of space in the room for it.

It was close to everything .

Freundliche Mitarbeiter, etwas älter, aber der Preis ist gut. Freies Parken, Restaurants zu Fuß erreichbar.

I liked my clean neat room.

It was easy to get to and right across from a Target store.

The walls were really thin and I could hear the couple in the room next to me screaming and yelling at each other and the kids screaming.

The staff was great about letting me use the employee refrigerator to store my medications because the fridge in my room did not stay at a constand temp. The room was very comfortable & clean.

There was a party that was very loud outside my room that went late into the night. The Motel had a shapbby appearance. Broken doors, peeling paint etc.

Refrigerator was dirty and the microwave was not working.

Surprised nice room size; clean n comfortable; quiet. Lobby- good 1st impression. Good size refrigerator and microwave; comfortable bed.

No kleenex or bathstopper in bathroom; no radio.
