The staff was pleasant and helpful. It was convenient to the hospital. The breakfast food was okay, always fruit, coffee, and juice.

I could hear every foot step of the room above me. The noise level of machines in room very annoying; air conditioner after it shut down, the refrigerator and the bathroom fan could wake the dead. The breakfast food did not include any eggs, (sausage, gravy and biscuits is not a very healthy or satisfying meal for someone not used to that kind of food. Area resturants were lacking (location)

Receptionist was very nice and accommodating. Property could not find our reservation confirmation and was sold out for the night but upgraded us to a suite for our 3-night stay.

Did not have our reservation. Name of hotel is now Comfort Inn. did not notify me that the name of the property had changed.

My daughter had breast cancer surgery in Hayward, lives in San Leandro and it was close to my daughter's home where we could spend time with her during the day and evening. It was very comfortable My other daughter was with me and we stayed for 5 nights. The breakfast was awesome and everyone was helpful.

One night when we were down stairs in a room the people up over us were constantly stomping back and forth for over 3 hours. We complained to the clerk and he notified them several times but it didn't stop. It was necessary for us to stay over and we were given a room upstairs which was really nice and much more quiet.

Too much noise at night from people in near by rooms. Had to change rooms.

The rooms smelled clean and the heating/air conditioning was working well and quietly.

Noise of other travelers. The rooms are older and not as sound proof as other hotels I have visited.

Check out was pleasant, the facilities were clean if modest.

Early checkout at 11 and early end of breakfast at 9:30 AM mark this motel as for business travelers only.

Great value, and very accommodating for dogs. More hotels need to be pet friendly.

No designated spot for potty breaks for dogs.

Convenient to location I was visiting. Free breakfast and snacks in lobby.

Hotel is on a very busy street, drive way is small and is only one way. Rooms were less than stellar -- beds did not have mattress pads, pillows were horrible, bathroom wasn't very clean and the view outside the window in my room was an old metal building -- this was not mentioned in the advertisements of this hotel. Night staff told me my ATM had been charged for the room, morning staff said I still needed to pay -- This is a $70ish night a room hotel, absolutely not over $100.

    The beds are great!

Breakfast was good but you need to vary the menu from day to day

The room was very nice and clean, check in and out was quick, staff was pleasant and I loved the pillows. The breakfast was good but I had to try a few things first to get to it. I would stay here again.

My toilet was a little loose so it made a loud noise when you sat down. My bed was a little on the hard side. Breakfast Sausage was tasteless. I would stay here again.

Room was outstanding. Large. Very clean. Well appointed. Flat screen TV (but not HD). Free HBO. Bed was very comfortable with plush (down) pillows and (down) comforter. Bathroom was excellent with large shower and tub. Had infra-red switch which turned light on when you entered. Good at night. Lots of towels and nice amenities. Great (free) breakfast in AM. Popcorn machine (free) all the time. Believe they have a pool, but didn't use it.

Staff was "nice", but not particularly friendly. Was on first floor and hear every car (and motorcycle) go by...especially the garbage truck in the AM. Hotel exits on to a somewhat seedy industrial area, but fronts onto Castro Valley Blvd, which is ok. Area has lots of fast food restaurants, but not too many nice sit-down places.

The hotel is great, the cleanliness and service.

I think that the manager on duty was having a difficult day. She didn't seem to be very happy.
