Price, convenience to Paul Brown Stadium, free underground parking, Friendly staff.
This hotel is old and tired, needs a major overhaul. The price is cheap, but we have stayed at Drury Inns for about $10.00 more. The free breakfast was bad, cold, and items weren't replenished. We were DT for something on Saturday and the Bengals game Sunday, so just needed a place to sleep and shower. It got the job done, but never again.
Had to switch rooms because door wouldn't lock.
Price and proximity to Horseshoe casino
Cleanliness was a issue overall. In particular the bath had mold and crud around the soap holder and faucet. Housekeeping staff needs to do a bit more thorough job.
The desk clerk was friendly, the breakfast decent and the room was clean and comfortable.
Felt uneasy about parking since the neighborhood seemed seedy. Was afraid to wonder too far from the hotel. The view was sub par. The hotel had an outdated 60's look.
Loved the free parking and breakfast was good enough. Location was a conmfortable walk to downtown.
Ice machines were only on 2 of 5 floors. The was pealing wallpaper everywhere and our roll of toilet paper had gotten wet but housekeeping never bothered changing it. Luckily there was a 2nd roll.
Price was low
Sketchy area Seemed unfinished Pool drained and not covered No security to get to main lobby/elevator TV was an old CRT Bathtub had cracks and holes
Hot water and good shower pressure...
finish coming off of the bottom of the tub
Staff was friendly, but not enough to feel welcomed.
Air-conditioning is a poor attempt to cool the room. No outlets for charging electronics except for the two in the bathroom. Carpet was filthy. Bed uncomfortable, pillows need some stuffing. Bathroom needed someone to clean the soap scum, and the build up on the faucets, CLR would clean that up. Water pressure is a joke, hot water is barely luke warm - morning and night. The area this motel is located is a barren metropolitan land with plenty of homeless and wanders, the wanders was my concern. Homeless just looking for a place to sleep, not a threat.
The location, the unkept look of the facility. The lobby was the best looking part of the building.
This hotel looked nothing like the pictures. It was run down and very unclean. The pool was almost empty except for the foot of greenish brown sludge in the bottom.
Quiet. Free parking.
Place seemed run down. Pool not in use. Full of dirty green water.
Building old, smelled like smoke, room and hallways excessively hot (they obviously keep the air off everywhere), wi-fi didn't work, old, not dirty but certainly not clean, overpriced for what it is. If I had to stay here again, $40 is a more appropriate price.
friendly atmosphere, pleasant room and service
not to be able to open a window and get some fresh air....
Not walking distance to anything really. Pool was dirty.
Location and friendly staff
Dirty pool, dirty rooms, and the whole placed smelled like smoke
The ONLY thing that was half way decent was the breakfast....and that wasn't even that great.
Room decor outdated. Dirty bathroom. Faucet broken. Dirty carpet. Smelled bad in the room and especially in the elevator. Like smoke and old food. Pool area not clean and wasn't cleaned our whole stay. Fitness center was 1 room with 2 machines. Hallways were not air conditioned. Not worth the money to stay here. Enterance hard to find. No clear singe to where the lobby was. Very disappointing!!!
I like the location compared to all the events I did
It wasn't clean at all. Service was poor and over priced for the quality
The hotel was OVERPRICED for the event that we attended(Jazz Fest). The bathroom overheated and it was a mess.
Kumar the manager was a cool dude in the end. He initially called me a liar and I frankly was going to check out if my friend didn't convince me not to pay all that money but he did help with my reds tickets so I guess he wasn't all bad in the end
Basically whenever I had a problem and bought it up I told "were only 2 stars" as an excuse and coming from someone who works at a hotel I couldn't be more mortified with such a cop out. You have to push the door up instead pulling down on the handle...I don't know who in their mind thinks to do that naturally but they don't tell you so you catch the elevator think your locked out to only go down and the front desk agent give you snark. Then also they don't answer the phone at night and blame you and when you walk down they sit off watching the security camera and chuckle at you when they come out. Honestly...the worst place I've ever stayed in my life
Only got hotel because close to baseball stadium where I was going, but then didn't feel comfortable walking to stadium in area. Also address online and at booking.com is wrong gives you spot like 10 mins away. Had to call to get directions. Receptionist not very helpful or friendly. All in all bad experience would not stay there again.
Right next to Interstate, so extremely noisy. Probably hasn't been updated in decades, but someone is really working hard to have it very clean. Breakfast isn't much. Location does not feel like it is safe, although it was close to everywhere I wanted to go. I left earlier than expected.
Free parking and continental breakfast, (which I didn't eat). For the price it was ok- so so, at best.
Dingy carpeting, smoke smell in the elevators and lobby, loose plaster on the walls, shoddy caulk on the bathroom sink.
Older outdated facilities
Nice clean and cozy room. We were close to the concert.
I wish there was a microwave in the room, also could use some updating.
