clean room; comfy bed; decent breakfast; location is quite good, because it is just 3-5 mins from 2 subway lines, but there is nothing to do near the hotel
Great quiet location, close to 2 metro stations, easy to get to Manhattan, only 10 minutes by metro, easy to get to LaGuardia airport, 4 metrostatios and good busconnection. Easy to get to JFK, metro from JFK to Jamaica station, then change to other metro, also easy to get to Newark. Staff is great at the hotel, goodsize bed, good shower, clean room, nice breakfast with lots of choice. Good restaurant nearby, 1 minute walk, called Mickeys Pizza. Wifi was good. Would stay there again.
It is a lovely Inn. Room was comfortable and clean enough. Bed was great and also breakfast.Employees were kind.
Receptionists (some of them) should more often looking into eyes of the guest and greet them.
You get what you paid for.
The room was pretty small, only about five channels worked, and the bathroom wasn't all that clean. Can use a renovation.
Very convenient location near Queens Plaza between Manhattan and JFK. Quick staff, decent breakfast, cleanliness.
I was two times in this hotel, and WiFi does not work both times. Staff allow use free computer with internet, so I could to check in for my flight.
Rooms were basic, but very clean and big enough. You're in NY, so not much time at your hotel anyway! For a hotel outside the centre, location is good with 3 metro lines (2 stations) just around the corner. There is nothing to do in the neighbourhood, so this hotel is really meant for resting after a long day downtown, and that is okay.
Breakfast was sober. Enough to start the day with, but don't expect a big buffet. We had a room at the back in which you could hear the noise from the passing trains. Did not bother us, but can be disturbing for others.
the area is totally commercial area very few food stores or coffee shops if any at all
Location, value, breakfast
I was in the hotel two times and WiFi did not work, but free computer with internet was available and I have registered for airflight.
Noisy elevator. Water from the shower wasn't hot enough. I could hear from my bed water flowing through pipes all night long.
I loved the location it was very close to the subway station and a short walk to a few little restaurants ans there was free parking on the streets (if there is a spot available )
Just the breakfast but I wasn't really surprised that it wasn't good.
we firstly got the basement room with no windows....fortunatelly personel managed to change it. So watch out what u book:)
Closer to a metro.
Just one restaurant around the hotel, which is pretty good (Mike's pizza).
Aside from my neighbors who showed no regard they were sharing space with others and decided to smoke in the facility and come home at 6 am loudly, the staff was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful with places to go and directions. My room was clean and the bed was cozy, although I woke up a little stiff. The wifi needs help!! I would absolutely stay here again and I plan to my next visit. Within walking distance to Astoria and the subway. Although Uber is my favorite now.
The walls were a bit thin. I could hear my loud neighbors easily and someone kept slamming doors. I could also hear their alarm clock alllllll morning.
The hotel is 2 minutes walking distance from a subway station (N&Q 39th Ave). The Breakfast in the morning is free and great. The staff is friendly.
Proximity to Manhattan, mattress quality, relatively spacious room, helpful staff
Mildew on bathroom walls, constant noise from plumbing inside/outside room (and trains outside windows), breakfast sans any nutritional value (aging bananas sole fruit)
The location was convenient to the subway to Manhattan and other areas. The staff was very helpful and friendly. All in all, it was a great value for the price. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
-Easy access to 4 subway stations -- 15 minutes into the City. -Good price -Rooms were functional -- no complaints -Staff was excellent! -Area is completely safe at night. -Staff were willing to hold our luggage before we were able to check in and after we checked out.
-Hotel is near the Subway lines -- Honestly, it didn't bother us in the slightest because we were exhausted when we made it back to the hotel, but it might bother light sleepers. -WiFi signal was so faint that we couldn't access it from the 5th floor.
Good location near subway, clean room, free wi-fi and breakfast. Peaceful area. Around the corner was pizzaplace.
The main entrance was dirty and clouded my first impression of the hotel. The breakfast attendant in the morning did not follow safe food handling practices. He used the same cloth to wipe off his face and the food areas. The worst was when he blew on the grid of the waffle maker to get the crumbs off. I couldn't eat after seeing that.
Loved it was walking distance to a subway nice and quiet good breakfast friendly staff
Wifi was so poor ,
No place every breakfast
I requested for a non-smoking room but it was actually a smoking room.
I didn't like the noise and the smell of air conditioning. To me, the smell is because the filters weren't cleaned.
Only good location ..close to the subway ..
Breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, free milk for kids,24 x 7 availability of kitchen
Like many hotels in queens area this hotel is near metro. But metro station is above ground and you will face difficulty in carrying kids stroller above several flights of stairs.
