Location was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The exterior is dated, but the interior has updates. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.
Other Guests Grounds were scattered with trash (Bad Guests) You need someone to stand by to pick up constantly.
The staff were very friendly and efficient. It is a popular motor inn that attracts visitors from all over the place. Car park was constantly full. Breakfast was good. Bed was very comfortable. Diner, a steakhouse and Waffle House very close.bus goes right through the main shopping district and stops at the greyhound bus terminal.
Was far out of town and laundry nit cleaned regularly
The location was great so far as being a few miles away from downtown Savannah. The staff was very, very friendly and accomodating. I asked for all fresh and laundered sheets (including comforters) to be put on our beds, and they did it without complaint. Pool was clean. It was quiet and peaceful there. We were there through the week, so the attached lounge did not bother us at all. The shower had great water pressure. No bedbugs, roaches, or sticky carpets!!
The pictures on the hotel's website are definitely from it's glory days. It is run-down compared to those pics, but still clean. The hotel is actually back from the road, so it is easy to miss if you're not careful.
The rooms are nice, wifi, flat screen tv and breakfast was great!
Fitness room need exercising bike.
Room clean and breakfast was great!!
The bed seem smaller than a queen bed. The fitness room is mixing an exercising bicycle.
Standard of room, cleanliness, and facilities was very good. Most of the staff very helpful; the complimentary breakfast was wonderful. All this part very good value for money. Hotel very nice looking generally.
Not such a good choice of restaurants nearby as we had expected; wifi connection was very slow; the Dobles Disco Bar was horrible....loud out-dated music, air conditioning was too cold, and the bartender didn't know how to mix a decent drink, and was not very friendly.
Location and cleanliness
To close to air force base
Pet Friendly and the room next to the pool and the Lady at the front desk.
Got a call stating we left our dog unattended in the room and he was barking. This never happened he is blind and can not be left alone and he does not bark and he can barely hear. I believe they got the wrong room number. There were several other dogs one in which was a yapper at the time of our stay. I can assure you my Dog was never left alone.
As we pulled in I was a bit concerned because it looked a bit run down. ...BUT the front desk was quick & courteous. We went to our room which was newly renovated. They had AC on already which was a great way to start the room tour. Puts u n a better mood from a long trip right off the bat. Room smelled fine. Was afraid it might smell of cigarettes. .seems to b a smoker on every corner. It was very clean (I always carry my own Clorox wipes cuz I'm that picky. .I work n medical field & I didnt have to break them out once) & the bed was sooooo comfortable. My daughter & I slept ALL night long....I usually wake up through the night at home. It was like sleeping on a cloud. We were by the pool which was by request & loved it. Pool was clean & I enjoyed spending mornings by the pool after a wonderful brkfst. Scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, etc. Great variety to choose from. Definitely going bak.
Smokers every where!! ....should b a designated area.....there is a deck at pool area crosswalk. This would b a good area for that. Smoke rises above those of us at pool trying to get some fresh air!! House keeping seemed to b lacking. We were there 4 days.....they came to door & we handed them our towels & trash. They seemed afraid to cross the threshold with us there. Never vacuumed or Cleaned the room/bathroom. Ran out of towels on Sunday due to full capacity on Sat night. Good thing we had our own beach towels & I happened to carry 4 extra wash clothes. Then they show up after my shower at 6 pm!! We were headed out door to dinner.
The price was very reasonable, but it lived up to the adage, "you get what you paid for". Although the staff wasn't very visible, when we did encounter them, they said hello. The room was surprisingly clean; however, the grounds were lacking in grooming.
I had reservations when I got to my room door, it needed painting, but when I opened the door , I was pleasantly surprised. the room was updated, flat screen tv, micro fridge, hairdryer, clean bathroom, and most of all, comfy bed. I went to sleep around 930pm, and woke up at 130 am feeling like I slept 8 hours. Most hotels in the immediate area (Stephenson Ave especially) do not stand a chance. I found a new hotel to stay at when visiting Savannah!
pool and price
QI is pet friendly. Rooms were comfortable, nice beds, well stocked with towels, toilet paper, etc.
I have no dislikes.
the pool area was not like pictured on line
Close to mall, movies, restaurants. Not far from downtown
We liked to sleep in. While doing this we didn't get our ro cleaned
Renovation is needed and paint job is needed on doors and storage areas. Cleaning of my room was omitted on the second day. Towels were dingy and filled with spots.
The breakfast was far below what you would expect and I you usually get in these kind of hotels.
comfortable beds, good breakfast1
Location and afforadable
Some of the staff and my room was left opened after towels were brought
location was perfect for me
Younger clientele made for some late night noise
location and price, and staff and breakfast..all were great
comfort..bed was ok..and the fridge did not have a freezer in it,,
We reserved a non-smoking room and it smelled like smoke. The toilet made a loud, terrible noise when it was flushed. There is a night club attached to this hotel that draws the locals and I did not like the fact that there were people constantly milling around in the parking lot on their way in and out of the night club.
