Low price. The room was clean and the tv worked.
The heat never seemed to warm the room up. The bothroom ceiling looked like it was going to fall in and the toilet never stopped running.
Clean, with no crawling surprises. Furniture, beds, etc. in good condition. If you're not needing to be on the beach, location lets you have easy access to restaurants, stores, etc. good night sleep
The potential for noise to be a problem is definitely there, although I didn't experience any during my stay.
Hotel was great
Not impressed with va beach at all
Close to the convention center which is where the race started.
Their breakfast was in a closed up bar and it consisted of a loaf of bread beside a toaster and some syrup that was supposed to be orange juice. If your planning on using a hotel bfast before a race, don't an on this hotel. Upper level of the hotel had mostly unused rooms that were in disrepair and a few were permanent living quarters. This hotel worked in a pinch, but for approx 200 a night, it was not worth over 100.
1.The beds were very comfortable 2.The staff was extremely friendly and helpful 3.Received clean towels daily
1.12 minute walk from the beach 2.The tub had mold and mildew, along with rust. 3.Lamp shades were stained and dirty 4.Carpet was not the cleanest 5.Old Tv
They let us choose which floor we were on. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Our door didn't close properly without force, fridge didn't work, and bathroom door didn't close properly either. Tub could of used a better cleaning.
I beleive we were taken advantage of. We have stay at this chain and was very dissapointed in the quaility and price of rooms. Old and outdated beds and furniture. bathrooms were dirty and old. You can only take advantage of us once!
The room was clean. Didn't have a funky odor to it. It served the purpose for our visit in Virginia Beach. Coffee was good in the lobby. And a lot of brochures with coupons.
The bed was to soft. No coffee maker, The closet doors were to hard to push back and forth, had to fight with them every time I needed to get in there. The complimentary breakfast sucked.
The air conditioning and the out let in the bathroom were not working. The microwave looked dirty and some of the furniture were broken.
White bread an wheat bread with a toaster beside it!! An a jug of Cheerios.
Lots of parking
Location was good. It was clean for the most part. Employees at registration desk were very pleasant. Facility outside look pretty good.
The room was good except for bathroom Sink had cracks in it. Bathroom ceiling in the shower was peeling. Housekeeper did not leave clean towels or clean room especially the tub . The hotel was supposed to have continental breakfast, all they had was toast, coffee and a few small muffins.
Everything was great including the staff, service and cleanliness, the pool was awesome and the price was very reasonable, we had a great time, thank you to all the staff whom made our stay better..
Not enough outlets in the room and the mattresses were a bit run down also the extra cot was in poor condition, it had rust and you could feel the springs thru the mattress..
I liked that the hotel was right off the expressway so when we headed out to do daily activities it was Convienient
I didnt like that the beach was a decent walk away and if you drive to the beach you have to pay 3 bucks for and hr at the meter
Room wasn't the rally cleaned. Reservation from booking.com was never sent through. So I ended up paying more for room after waiting 30 min to sort out.
Little bit far from beach!
We booked last minute so we didn't have many affordable options. This was a decent inn not far away from the beach. Relatively clean except there was a weird stain on our comforter. I turned the blanket around so it's not near my face. Front desk staff friendly and helpful.
Stain on comforter
They do not like to help custom
It was close to the beach
I was charged double for the same room, be cautious when booking with them
out dated the breakfast was only bread, butter and coffee, restaurant looks from the 50's in bad shape, toaster broken. 1stfloor rooms have no privacy you must have the curtains closed at all times.
I did not like the fact that their phone in the room did not work at all and when we told them they did not bother to fix it. I also found it very inconvenient that they did not have a kitchen. We also booked a room for 2 queen beds but they ripped us off, instead they gave us 2 double beds and how can 5 people sleep in these 2 small beds. I have been to cheaper hotels that have a kitchen, and also more beds. Do not come here and also their bathrooms have black molds evertwhere.
The desk clerk couldn't find my reservation at 1 a.m. I had traveled all day to get there. Then we had to lug our suitcases a distance from the car, which hurt me.I have arthritis pain and COPD,it was very difficult.
I really appreciated that every member of the staff I spoke with always treated me with respect and very courteous. They treated me as a person...not some tourist they can soak money from. I am thankful Ambassadors Inn and Suites was able to accommodate me on a spur of the moment request (after 20 years, I decided to relocate back to Virginia Beach and continue my education). I was given a safe place to stay while I searched for adequate housing and waited for my belongings to arrive from Illinois. I thank the entire staff for their kindness and generosity.
I didn't like reading all the horrible reviews! I didn't encounter any of the problems that were described in the reviews. Maybe the Ambassadors Inn and Suites addressed the problems...I don't know, but I had a good experience. Sure, there were some things that weren't perfect; like, the carpets...they appeared old and had stains, but children often spill things and I understand that. Yes, it was 8 blocks from the beach; however, I have stayed in many oceanfront hotels in the past and those rates are three- four times higher than I paid at Ambassadors Inn and Suites. I could respond to many of the points in the negative reviews...I just didn't encounter those problems.
