The location is great when traveling from Sedona/Flagstaff to Grand Canyon or back. The place is very nice and clean.
Staff mixed up a few things when checking us in, overcharged us, but luckily adjusted the charge when we got home, though we had to go through the main provider.
This delightful place is only 1 hours drive from Grand Canyon, which was the purpose of our visit. So glad we opted for this one and not accommodation in Williams. Sorry it was only for one night. Lovely staff.
A little remote
One of the best night sleeps I had while on holidays. Bed comfort A1
Location , Williams and Flagstraff.
A valuable place to stay away from the main town but withing easy reach, we had a comfortable two nights
Bathroom facilities strange, with awash basin in the room outside shower and toilet not a good idea.
The organic food, although the menu was a bit limited by the third day, but my partner loved the bison burger. The coffee was not up to same standard as the rest of the food, although it was organic. The room was very spacious with a quite specifically separate area for washing and dressing which we liked. The room, although clean seemed to have a faint smell which was not entirely pleasant, the carpets seemed to be a little tired. The pool was small, but good and altogether a good place to rest.
very personal, situated in rural area, pool and spa fantastic
nicely designed interiors of the hotel, horses available, very nice breakfast
bad location, just near the highway and far from the city
The personnel was very friendly. The rooms are spacious. Dinner was excellent but portions are small. Breakfast is included but rather sparse.
It is basically a partly renovated quality inn smothered in an exaggerated eco-dressing. It is also located very close to the interstate with its noise. We paid the highest rate through Booking.com although the hotel was almost empty.
Friendly atmosphere, excellent food and service.
Rooms are clean, swimming Pool and Spa are nice
The service at the restaurant was very bad. Food is good but overpriced and certainly be carefull when ordering drinks when price is not indicated. Breakfast is rather poor and cheap.
The woods behind the property where the horses are; away from the highway that runs past the resort.
Close proximity to highway. poor sound proofing of room sullen front desk staff
Friendly staff and wonderful meals!
Great pool, really good restaurant (breakfast and dinner)
Very friendly and welcoming staff Organic, home made breakfast Delicious dinner, huge portions Not too far from Grand Canyon Well lit property, easy to find at night Quality beds
Rooms were a bit simple Bathroom was a little dated Light in the rooms was very dim Noisy a/c (though not needed during the night, so didn't disturb our sleep)
Portions in restaurant are very small.
Internet did not work. Noisy AC. No easy access. No fridge.
Setting Room Restaurant
Distance from the canyon
We loved the organic, prepared en served with love.
The horseback ride in the pines was excellent and highly recommended!
We were very disappointed in our overall experience. Their website is very deceiving! We don't get a chance to travel very often so when we do, we like to spend a little more to stay in a nice resort. Although their lobby and retail shop is very nice, we were shocked to drive around the back of the "resort" to find what looks more like a cheap Motel. Their hallways and structures were full of bird droppings, their tennis court was full of weeds and their overall grounds were not maintained. When I made our reservation, I listed that there would be three of us staying in their "resort". My husband, our 10 year old son and myself. When we checked in, their desk clerk gave us 3 breakfast tickets and let us know we can return for additional tickets, the following day. When we returned for our second morning breakfast tickets, she only gave us 2 saying that we only had 2 on our reservation. I explained that I made the reservation for 3 and that she had given us the correct amount when we checked in. She argued with me saying she didn't give me 3 and if I wanted an additional ticket, we would have to pay for it. Well, I'm sorry but we weren't going to pay for an additional breakfast in their restaurant for the experience there was also less than "resort" quality! Plus, how much can a 10 year old eat? My husband drove into Williams for a nice breakfast with excellent service. Their website portrays a buffet style breakfast, which it is not. My son asked for a second "shot glass" size of orange juice and their unfriendly waitress said it would be an additional charge.
Lovely place !
That I was charged dog fee he is a support dOg
The location feels tucked away yet right off the main highway and easily accessed. Front desk staff was very nice and efficient. The room was great! Big and spacious, I was traveling with my dog and we had a great room (#106) plenty of space to spread out. Great water pressure in the shower too. The grounds are nice - did not visit the pool. Plenty of parking for all the road trippers and RVs.
There's no takeout option from the onsite restaurant. The food is very good however, if you're road weary or want privacy, it's a bummer to have to eat in the formal restaurant - at that point you might as well drive the few miles further into Williams where there is a bunch of restaurant options.
