nicely designed interiors of the hotel, horses available, very nice breakfast
bad location, just near the highway and far from the city
The woods behind the property where the horses are; away from the highway that runs past the resort.
Close proximity to highway. poor sound proofing of room sullen front desk staff
Friendly staff and wonderful meals!
Great pool, really good restaurant (breakfast and dinner)
Very friendly and welcoming staff Organic, home made breakfast Delicious dinner, huge portions Not too far from Grand Canyon Well lit property, easy to find at night Quality beds
Rooms were a bit simple Bathroom was a little dated Light in the rooms was very dim Noisy a/c (though not needed during the night, so didn't disturb our sleep)
Portions in restaurant are very small.
Internet did not work. Noisy AC. No easy access. No fridge.
Setting Room Restaurant
Distance from the canyon
We loved the organic, prepared en served with love.
The horseback ride in the pines was excellent and highly recommended!
We were very disappointed in our overall experience. Their website is very deceiving! We don't get a chance to travel very often so when we do, we like to spend a little more to stay in a nice resort. Although their lobby and retail shop is very nice, we were shocked to drive around the back of the "resort" to find what looks more like a cheap Motel. Their hallways and structures were full of bird droppings, their tennis court was full of weeds and their overall grounds were not maintained. When I made our reservation, I listed that there would be three of us staying in their "resort". My husband, our 10 year old son and myself. When we checked in, their desk clerk gave us 3 breakfast tickets and let us know we can return for additional tickets, the following day. When we returned for our second morning breakfast tickets, she only gave us 2 saying that we only had 2 on our reservation. I explained that I made the reservation for 3 and that she had given us the correct amount when we checked in. She argued with me saying she didn't give me 3 and if I wanted an additional ticket, we would have to pay for it. Well, I'm sorry but we weren't going to pay for an additional breakfast in their restaurant for the experience there was also less than "resort" quality! Plus, how much can a 10 year old eat? My husband drove into Williams for a nice breakfast with excellent service. Their website portrays a buffet style breakfast, which it is not. My son asked for a second "shot glass" size of orange juice and their unfriendly waitress said it would be an additional charge.
Lovely place !
That I was charged dog fee he is a support dOg
The location feels tucked away yet right off the main highway and easily accessed. Front desk staff was very nice and efficient. The room was great! Big and spacious, I was traveling with my dog and we had a great room (#106) plenty of space to spread out. Great water pressure in the shower too. The grounds are nice - did not visit the pool. Plenty of parking for all the road trippers and RVs.
There's no takeout option from the onsite restaurant. The food is very good however, if you're road weary or want privacy, it's a bummer to have to eat in the formal restaurant - at that point you might as well drive the few miles further into Williams where there is a bunch of restaurant options.
Nice location, around a 45 minute drive from the GC.
Staff at the restaurant might as well have not been there, even for the complimentary breakfast. I walked up to the counter to pay at dinner and to get a fork and water at breakfast. Also can't charge food to the room.
Absolutely beautiful location.
The staff at the horse riding stables had an attitude and lying problem. I made reservations for Saturday at 3:00. I got there at 2:50 and waited until approximately 3:20. We left and about 15 minutes later the staff with a family of riders arrived. We walked over there and the staff lied stating we were late. I told her my appointment was at 3 and we arrived at 2:50. She then lied stating she got there at 3:07. I told her we were there until 3:20. All she had to say was oh. She never apologized and had an attitude. She shouldn't work there. Also, easy on the organic foods and drinks. A little bit too much.
The staff members were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Although the hotel was "some what near the Interstate, the noise from the traffic was minimal and it was a good taste of "country living".
The exercise equipment was not readily available. I had to ask the front desk for access and the entry was through the restaurant.
This location is about 15 miles outside of downtown Williams and very quiet. Very clean and updated bathroom very nice for an older property. This is Williams so you must take that into consideration. Bed was comfortable. If you want action stay in Williams downtown proper. The property was kinda like a Ghost town which is unfortunate because it appears that they have put some money into this location... Loved that you could actually open the windows with screens for fresh air-one in bathroom and one in main room.
No frig. and yes the towels were thin. Room was very dark.
We liked the view, the rooms, spa, helpful staff, but most of all the breakfast!
Horse stable wasn't ready for us.
Room was clean and comfortable. Easy access due to location by the highway. Helpful staff.
The place seemed to be completely desolated. When arrived I first thought it was simply closed. Empty parking lot and no one around. Later some people started to appear at the resteurant but the very impression of stagnation was present through the whole stay anyway. I am not saying it is bad, depends what you like. Personally, if I were around for the next time I'd rather stay in Williams - cheaper and much more lively.
Very clean, nicely decorated rooms. If you want a nice, remote hotel, this is the place to stay. Williams is just a few short miles down the road.
Breakfast not included, not even a continental breakfast.
Nice big motel resort outside of Williams. Unfortunately a little close to the interstate, but nice and green.
The family atmosphere and location.
Nothing, loved it all!
It was quiet and a good place to relax. The staff was friendly and helpful
It wasn't what I expected and it wasn't a ranch.
It was a very pristine, spacious room with a very comfy bed. The shower was one of the nicer ones I've experienced in hotels.
The towels weren't very soft. They were thin and rough. And it was difficult locating our room.
