The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Hair on bedsheets. Bath tub had a coat of peeling paint inside. The floor was so uneven the dresser drawers would not stay shut. Parking on our side of motel was very dark. The hallways were dirty and very cold (temperature). Will not stay here again. On hotels behalf it was stated that the hallways were being redone but it also stated that it was due to be completed by The first of November. Our stay was the last of November.
Hallways were dirty.
The hotel was clean and staff very friendly.
Dated hotel, non-smoking rooms appear to have had smokers in them.
restaurant next door
Asked for non smoking and got smoking, could not breath. Under renovation and still rented. Front sign was even broken to say Quali Inn. The cable to the television was fully exposed across the room by the door and half covered in paint, The light bulbs did not match in vanity, room was not vacuumed and had dead bugs in the corner, the hallways were filthy, the vending machines were empty, the back door did not lock, did not clean room until after 5 pm one day upon return. Extra towels left on top of toilet seat. Misserable, I wish I could send pictures.
ONly stayed one night. They let me know right away about the construction. No real issue. Nice stay.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was awesome! Extra pillows, too. The breakfast was more then expected, but would have benefited from an attendant (items out and selfish, messy guests). The outlets by the bed were actually accessible, too! That's a rarity. The staff was amazing! Friendly and efficient, they were a real asset. Ignore the inconvenience of the renovations and enjoy the stay!
The exterior entrance to the back hallway was narrow and creepy, and lined with bushes. I was followed by a kind gentleman once and even though he kept an appropriate distance, once he stepped onto the entrance sidewalk, I was trapped between the building, the bushes, and a stranger. Not a pleasant experience! Also, some minor repairs were needed (the bracket that held the iron) and clearly had been needed for some time. The ironing board wouldn't stand, and the coffee pot leaked. These are things that should be fixed in minutes and can't be blamed on the renovations.
Great room Shuttlebus to Santa Fe Plaza
It had two beds like we requested
glass sliding doors to the parking lot, the doors had to be slammed to close completely, beds were hard, it was noisy outside, didn't feel safe with the door locks, but the beds were small not queen size.
I think the people at the desk were excellent! The location was quiet.
Disappointed that I wasn't notified they are in the process of remodeling. The hallways were dirty with construction debris; our sliding door was off the track so we couldn't open it; the screen was cut; this was our second room because the first had an odor of cat urine in it; couldn't turn the knob changing the shower to bath operation; overall just was a look of being unclean although the room itself was clean.
Hall carpets old
The hotel was a short drive from everything we wanted to see in Santa Fe and the price was very reasonable, including a good, basic breakfast.
The screen on our balcony door was broken and the carpet needs refreshing.
the complimentary breakfast is very good, the room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful
the wifi is slow and goes down every 15 minutes, the halls of the hotel are being renovated so the carpets are stained with paint and look old and very dirty
There were holes in the walls. The hotel was run down the bed were full sized rather then queen. There were patched holes everywhere on the doors and walls and paint didn't match the carpets were stained and dirty. It was pretty nasty. Not a 3 star hotel.
I thought the staff was friendly and tried to fix the issues.
I was booked into a room on the 2nd floor, hotel had no elevator so I had to take luggage up the stairs, walk into the room and the smell was horrible, I called the front desk and was asked to go to the desk, I did and was moved to another room. The 2nd room still had blue painters tape around the doors, around the locks. The hide away couch when pulled out for my daughter to sleep was dirty, there was dirt, needles from the bushes out the sliding doors, no blankets or pillow for the bed, I had to shake out the sheets, use my own blankets that were in my car, and pillow. When checking out, I told the front desk clerk and she apologized and offered to give me a discount of 15%, I did appreciate her gesture however I would NOT stay here again.
The breakfast was good.
Apparently, they are updating their rooms; in the meantime, there is an odor in the rooms; the carpets in the hallways are dirty; some of the room doors are half-painted; not a clean/good feel in the building.
Room was renovated.
Outside of room was very poor.
Big room, not much more!
In throes of renovating but no signs to the effect - internally no signs to indicate where ANYTHING is, suggest guests be given a map of the place! We had a lovely patio area on the ground floor but no chairs! Wi-fi was poor; breakfast was chaos with people standing to eat!
This motel is currently under going renovation. Was placed in a room that had been done and unfortunately you would not know this was the case. There was lots of dust/plaster etc in the hallway. Pool area was good. Breakfast was ok. Location is a drive out of Santa Fe but if you want a cheap stay this is fine.
The staff was relatively helpful, however the check in time of three o-clock was not acceptable. (worked all night would have liked a nap prior to going out to a wedding). Probably will not be back.
The room was nice the bed comfortable, the PILLOWS were HORRIBLE.
The lamps with an outlet! These should be LAW in hotels world wide ;-) The WATER from the tap as well as the size and layout of our room was PERFECT and inspired us to book with Quality Inns.
The smokey smell in the hallways. (They said the carpeting was the next stage & been in the same situation when in the industry myself)
The carpet was filthy dirty, lock on room door didnt work.
Sheets were old
