It was a few metres from a Max red line station, which was very convenient when coming from and to the airport. The room was big and comfortable. The bed was huge, so you can roll all you want without falling from the bed.
No good restaurants around.
cost, clean room, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, lots of towels, heavy warm bedding, great breakfast, friendly staff.
road noise, 5pm traffic makes it difficult to get in and out of. The man who watches you eat breakfast in the breakfast room. He looks mad and that your bothering him...kind of weird
The staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel is a quick three minute walk to the red line train to downtown.
It was nice for the price! Clean with minor bathroom issues! Lots of fun color and nice bed ect. but way to loud outside and heater was also loud.
The newly renovated rooms very nice
The outdoor stairs, can get wet while carrying luggage up the stairs.
Good value Comfortable adequate facilities
A bit dingy
Clean room, friendly staff, good location, great parking area. I would book there again.
The sound of the AC was annoying at night, too loud and frequent start ups. Could use an upgraded system. The bed was a little too firm for sleeping.
I did not receive wake-up call as requested and for some reason my name was not on list for shuttle ride to PDX.
I like this motel and will stay there again for sure
only drawback was no mat in tub - very slippery
Close to airport
Worn and dated motel. Needs refurbishing
My travel companion loved the pillows and would like to know where she can get some for herself! Really!!! Value was fine, just needed a clean place to crash before flying back home the next morning. The place was very quiet, so got a decent night's sleep. Could not hear traffic which was a nice plus too.
Had a hard time finding gas at a reasonable price!!! Had to drive around in a totally unfamiliar city late evening. Could not find a decent place to eat after 8:30 pm. Is that typical for Portland, or? Our first time passing through there. (Also, some major confusion on my part as I thought I had booked into another hotel chain through Booking.com. Still have not figured that one out; probably never will. Thought I had booked at the Comfort Inn & Suites instead.)
There are several major highways a stone's throw away. A hub of local bus routes are close by. The bed exists. The heater works.
Interstate traffic is loud. Local traffic is loud. The heater's fan is LOUD. The neighbor's toilet is loud.
Nothing at all everything
Staff, breakfast, location near station with cheap trains right into Portland.
Traffic noise. Noisy neighbours.
I likeliked the way the room looked
Had to go up lots of stairs with have bags
My room had been updated and was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. The price was excellent.
Our room had a fridge and microwave, which was very convenient. We were also only 15 minute drive from downtown Portland.
Our room had an extremely bad odour (smelt almost like urine). I had read on past reviews after that other people had a musty smelling room as well. The odour made sleeping a bit hard.
I liked that the staff, all of them, were kind and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean
The stairs to the second floor
Very comfortable rooms, nice bathroom.
Bed was comfortable. Clean enough. On a two-week vacation this was my least favorite stay.
Poor area. Not much around but freeways. Long way from anywhere. Staff was okay but you get the feeling they would rather not be bothered with questions.
Interior much better than expected after seeing the outside. Updated nicely and very clean. Comfortable bed. Am shuttle was great.
Not an interior hallway type hotel...more of a motel with all room doors outside. No elevator. Outside is like an old Rodeway Inn...oh wait the other half of the property is. Reminded me of National Lampoons Vacation. Nite attendant was crabby and needed more help as many were checking in late at night. No pm shuttle driver so another hotel brought us...and was irritated to do so.
Bathroom faucet loose and turn around and toilet almost explode each time we flushed it.
For the price you get a lot. Clean, comfortable, beds.
The room was clean . Staff was nice . The hotel has a decent continental breakfast.
