They let us check out early.
Gang Sign on the dive in. Requested Queen Non-smoking room. First room had 7 lights not working...bulbs broken in sockets or missing. Closet door was ripped off hinges. Next room smelled like smoke. (Was told everyone smoke in New Orleans) Final room was in a dark corner of hotel. Wife did not feel safe.
I guess the old saying you get what you paid for well the fact that there were drug deals going on in the parking lot made me feel extremely uncomfortable but I did only pay 70.00 for the room. That was the only thing good. We only had one pillow one blanket one towel and rag and someone left their shampoo behind. I not a person who likes to complain but seriously.
decent location to where I was trying to go.
Did not clean rooms from one day to next. Had problems getting towels then next day towels still there from being used day before with no new towels. Beds were not made and room not cleaned while there 2 days.
After a long day of driving I entered the room they gave me, it was disgusting and had not been cleaned from the previous person and the ac was pulled out of the wall. When I returned to the front desk she didn't seem to care and said she could either move me to a different room or check me out, since it was the middle of the night I had no choice but to stay. The next day when I asked to speak to the manager I was told he's never there. The whole feel of this hotel was bad, it didn't feel safe. It seemed like it was where the locals go to party.
Durty,no towels.a bad motel.
Reservation was wrong even though I showed them what I had actually booked through booking.com. I did not get the room I had reserved. The beds were just terrible, there were clothes left from the previous guest behind the bathroom door. The maid obviously didn't go in to clean it properly or she would have seen them. The continental breakfast ended 30 minutes before it was scheduled, so no breakfast. When I went to check out the desk clerk asked why I was leaving a day early, I figured out that she had my reservation wrong again but she was acutally looking at the wrong reservation. She checked out the wrong room and blamed me for giving the wrong number. I gave my room nuber and name, so not my fault! I noticed that the room next to me that she had checked out was $30 less than mine. I asked for a better rate due to the circumstances of my stay and she could not match the other room rate despite the many complaints I had lodged. Never again!
I didn't get raped or murdered
no fridge in room at least 50 burn holes on the blanket sticky furniture dried blood splatters on bathroom ceiling car honks for crack deals all throughout the night key cards quit working after one use fraudulently charged me $100 more than what was on my receipt when I checked out.
Reasonable Price, over all please with the room.
toilet not working no phone in room night staff needs more training, unable to answer simple questions ( needed more coffee in room , she was unable or unaware where the item's were stored.
You have a wonderful staff, that operates the property
This hotel was reasonably priced and the staff were responsive and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good but in a very small area.
The location if the hotel was in a rough area, which was a but nerve wracking for being with young children, there was also no grass in the area for walking a dog. The staff seemed to work hard but did not have a lot of support our staff members. They ran out of towels at one point.
Bed had burnt cigarette holes in linen. Floor was filthy. Location was terrible.
If you're like me and my friends and know what to expect when the price is so cheap then stay here. My phone didn't work nor did the toilet flush on the first try, the room smelled bad, but however I've stayed in worse. I burned incense and since we were not in the room but to sleep(beds were clean) it didn't bother us. Wouldn't bring a family here but if your young and want to smoke pot in your room, no one bothers you because you can smell it in the air, but it's quite. Everyone was friendly to us. My expensive car wasn't broken in to nor did I see any shady people wandering around. It is in like the ghetto.
-location -smell -toilet/ phone didn't work
The staff. The room.
The toilet. It didn't flush. Keys didn't work, needed replacements
It's about 15 min from the French Quarter whice equivalate to a 20$ cab ride. The hotel was perfect for the $ it cost. The room itself was clean and we felt safe there.
hotel is not so bad but location ruining everything...
I didn't like anything. They took $175 off my card and I was only supposed to pay $35 and some change. The receptionist had no knowledge of anything. Never again!
Customer service horrible! Charged more than the original price that was listed.
very helpful and cooperative staff
Facilities was dirty. Desk clerk was not very knowledgeable in providing assistance. I will never stay at the rode way inn and suite ever again.
Despite the questionable area it is surrounded by, I felt very safe in the hotel. There was no loud commotion or any uncomfortable situations. Great distance from downtown New Orleans. Rooms were decent. I would definitely stay again! Thanks
