    location and room

    cleaning service was ok. Reception during the day not very good. much better staff at night.

    Metro station is near.

    Worker name Nasir was very unfrendly and rude like other staff, i never had so bad experiance like in this hotel. Not recommend to stay! No enough parking place. For breakfast only five places and choose are very poor. In our room someone was pieed in conditioner, so it was terible smell when its worked, and we cant use it! Bed sheet was not clean and we found few blood spots. THIS HOTEL ARE TERIBLE!

    Clean and comfortable beds also nice staff.

    Horrible off street parking. Advert said off street parking available but not enough spaces per rooms. I had to park on the street in the only space available, did not dare move car and lose space. Advert is a lie.

    Nice, comfy bed.

    Staff is curt at best. Handicapped room (did not need or request) with no smoke detector, wires hanging from ceiling. Felt like I got worst room in hotel. Breakfast is strikingly mediocre and in an area far too small to be comfortable. People sitting on stairs with plates on their laps. Parking is nightmare if you don't get one of the few spots in lot.

    Close to subway station, quiet neighbourhood

    Breakfast is poor, the person who takes care of breakfast is the 'maintenance guy' on his regular clothes. They don't have a proper luggage storage room, they will just leave your bags in a corner of the lobby.

    Close to the metro.

    Smelly room, despite the fact that were changed every day the towels look used and … not so fresh. Wi-fi was working only at some hours, as long as few customers were connected, the network refuses new ones to connect.

    dirty carpet, dingy hall, smelled, damage to walls, advertised "free parking" but it's actually "first come, first served" parking on the street in a fairly unsafe area.

    Room was very clean and refrigerator was very helpful.

    Slow service at the front desk. Next door neighbors slammed their door all night long. Pricey and could not pay with an American Express gift card.

    The location is excellent. Just need to walk 1 block to the subway and takes around 20 minutes to reach Manhattan.

    The person in the lobby was not helpful at all when we arrive. For any question regarding nearby restaurants she kept saying that she was not from the neighborhood. We got help from a pizza delivery guy who happens to be there. The room was ok, but we stayed 5 nights and only clean up the bathroom once. 3 times I had to go to the lobby for towels because they forgot to leave any.

    We are a couple from China traveling to New York. We stayed in this hotel(Quality Inn Woodside, NY, 11377) from Apr. 19 to Apr. 26 and paid by credit card. When we back home and received credit card statement, it showed total payments are USD931.07 and USD141.21(1072.28 in total) for 7 nights. If you think everything was over at that moment, you are completely wrong! Just on the day before yesterday, May 21, we suddenly got a notice from the bank that we are charged another 789.86 dollars by this hotel. That means we’re going to pay TWICE for only ONE period of stay! Immediately we called this hotel. To our surprise, a guy, one of their clerks, told us that they didn’t receive 931.07 dollars at all. He said they didn't even charge the 141 dollar to us and instead, the room charge should be 956 dollars. As he described, they made a lot of efforts communicating with the bank to collect 956 dollars. Then they knew the money was held by VISA(how do you feel this excuse?). Finally they contacted another strange company(not any bank nor VISA) to solve the problem. With such an effort, they got only 789.86 dollars, part of room charge. They’re suffering a loss of 167 dollars! Generously enough, he even told me they are not going to collect the remaining money. Oh my! what a warm hearted guy. I'm deeply moved!! BUT THE TRUTH IS the bank is 100% sure the 1072.28 dollars were already settled. The transaction has finished successfully. This hotel must receive it! AND the 789 dollars will also be settled. Apparently, they are stealing our money because all 1862.14 dollars are real charges. Not even a penny is on hold. OK, in case that someone really held the money, however we have paid for the stay. The payments are showing up on bank statement. Then we’re all set. No matter if they receive the money, it has nothing to do with us! Our responsibility is over. They should talk to whoever holding their money. So now it’s very easy to conclude.

    Location/price ratio (1 block to metro station). Meat, eggs & cheese on breakfast. Refrig. In room. Clean & silent place in Queens (perhaps due to fact that cemetery is placed on the other side of street). We had special requirements for the room and obtained what we wanted.

    Long line to the tables during breakfast. 5 m2 for the buffet.

    Huge bed Free Breakfast Very close to subway station 15 minute to times square

    Very small breakfast area but it's not a really problem. You can use a try and eat food in the room or just wait some minute...

    Very clean bathroom. The location in itself is not very heartwarming but close to the subway.

    Curtains were really dirty, which gives a bad impression. Wall and ceiling of the room were sprayed with something - red fruitjuice I think. The breakfast area is far too small (10 chair) for a hotel this size.
