1. Weak air-conditioning system - could not cool the room on hot days.

The suites were spacious, clean and the staff was good...not excellent. The grounds were well cared for. The cook to order breakfast was good.

When we arrived at our room at 6:00 PM...it was 85+ degrees. The a/c unit was turned off. We turned it on, went to assist our handicapped mother who was in a different room and went to dinner. Upon returning to the room 3 hours later...the room had only cooled off to 80 degrees. I called the desk...who sent a maintenance guy up. He said everything should be ok now. My wife was so hot...she went to her mother's room...which had cooled to 75 degrees. An hour later...the room was still at 80 degrees. I called the office and changed rooms. I asked the staff if they could turn the a/c on in the new room...but he said maintenence had gone home. When I went to the front desk to pick up the keycard for the new room...the maintenance guy was there. Hmmm. The new rooms a/c was also off...but since it was now 10:00 pm it was only 80 degrees. It took another hour and a half to cool off to 75 degrees...and an additional hour to approach 72 degrees. The next morning, we had a fine breakfast and then left for the day and evening. We left the a/c at a reasonable 75 degrees. Upon returning to the room 13 hours later at 9:00 PM...the a/c had been turned off by the Hotel staff freshening our room and the room was 80+ degrees again. After a very long...very tiring day...the last thing I needed was to return to a room that was sweltering. It took another hour and a half to cool off to 75 degrees. Other than this unacceptable a/c situation...I Would recommend the place to anyone. It is well cared for with comfortable rooms at a fair price...a reasonable staff...good breakfast and a good location. If you like sleeping in a sauna...stay here. If not...you might want to look elsewhere.

I asked for a cab to take me to the airport and a man shows up in a black car. The desk clerk did not know him and and asked who he was also. The he charged me more that I was told it was to be. Made me uncomfortable that early to get into a car when the staff did not know him either.

I would definitely stay here again. Room was clean and comfortable, bed was good. The rate was reasonable considering how nice it is, and they weren't too full, so they actually gave me the room with the extra living room, even though I'd only paid for the king. The breakfast was quite good; you go through a line, order what you want, and the two cooks cook it right up for you. There are lots of choices, including healthy options if you want.

The staffs were very friendly and the checking in and out procedures were very fast. Location is good since it's next to emirates mall but you can get lost the first time. The suites were very comfortable, spacious, and very clean. Breakfast was really good and filling. Long line went quickly. Bed was comfy. Space was nice and clean Fridge was very helpful and also the Wi-Fi in the hotel is great and it was for free also the parking for my car. So I do recommend this hotel to my entire friend.

The only thig it was for the Kettle "boiler" to doing tea or coffee.

The staff was friendly. Breakfast was really good and filling. Long line went quickly. Bed was comfy. Space was nice and clean Fridge was very helpful.

The bathtub fixtures could have worked better and the internet connection kept disconnecting (important to business travelers) But over all it was nevry good.

The best chain hotel I have seen in the US (and I am a seasoned traveler). The room was in fact a suite (a sitting room and a separate bedroom); it was spotlessly clean, the a/con worked like clockwork, the bed was huge and comfortable, I was impressed to see a proper office chair by the desk (very comfy), a good sofa to relax on, and a bathroom that looked new. Actually the furniture all looked new to me, possibly because the hotel had just been refurbished. It felt at least a grade, possibly two above the stated classification. And if that were not enough, the breakfast was cooked to order! I paid $130 per night including breakfast. Just the night before I stayed at a motel in Santa Barbara for $180, dirty, dinky, nothing included. I think the Quality Suites Hotel John Wayne Airport offered me a huge bargain. Fellow travelers, use this luxury while it lasts!

The threatening notes everywhere warning me that if I stole their towels, coffee maker, mugs, etc., they would charge me for those without my consent. Made me feel like a suspected thief, not a valued guest. I appreciate their problem, but do not wish to be treated like this regardless.

comfortable king size beds

the hotel does not accept cash at all. everything is with visa no cash for staying even if you wana buy a can of soda you have to pay by visa , that was very reidicilous. The hotel does not have any shuttles that goes to the malls, the breakfast is poor.

The rooms were in great shape and like mini suites for the price of a ran down motel room, we were shocked. You also got breakfast and it was gay friendly, no one even blinked an eye at me and my partener.

The accommodations were excellent and a great value for the money. The staff and management went above and beyond to meet my needs. I will continue to come back to the Quality Suites in the future.

It was nice & relaxing. I thought it was going to be noisy or with traffic because it was close to the airport but the was not the case at all.

Uitstekende schone kamers met een goede ligging aan de 55. Luxe en comfort en tegen een betaalbare prijs.

Preis-Leistung absolut in Ordung. Sauberkeit des Zimmers war gut. Fruehstueck war auch ok fuer die Preisklasse. Sehr nah am flughafen, da aber Nachts der Flughafen geschlossen ist keine Laermbelaestigung.

Clean suite, near to companies

The layout of the room is stupid. The Washbasin is facing the bed. If someone wash face or hand, it will influence people at bed having rest. I never saw this kind of design. Really stupid.

Gute lage. Gratis frühstück und social hour.
