I reserved a room for 2 queen beds. After checking in and going to our room we realized they were full size beds. The rooms had no trash cans,no remote for tv, also they only gave us 2 towels when they knew there would be 2 adults and 2 children. Website also says each room has a microwave and mini fridge, neither of those were in our room. It is a great location, but dont be fooled by the description you read online.
!. For starters when we were checking in I saw a toddler running around with nothing on but a diaper, the child appeared to belong to the couple managing the motel. It may have been the long drive, but seeing their child running around seemed to bother me more than normal. 2. they seem to be working to update their facility, which was good because it really needed some updating. What bothered me was the fact that we seemed to be assigned to a room that wasn't completely finished. Why do I think this, because the bathroom didn't seemed to be finished (the sheet-rock was already textured and painted, but no one had finished the detailing. There were no running boards or trim in place, there were big gaps between the floor tile and the walls. There was no toilet paper holder installed just 2 big holes where it should be installed. My wife had to go down to the front desk and ask for a hair dryer and when she got it the manager apologized and said we've been meaning to get them mounted in the rooms but we just haven't got around to it. Maybe it's just me, but I would expected them to finish one room at a time before that would move on to another room, especially if they were going to rent out the room to their guest. 3. As for what they called a complementary breakfast, well they had placed a couple big boxes of cereal (I think it was raisin brand and fruit-loops), A box of small muffins (blueberry and banana), if you asked they had a gallon of milk in the little frig under the counter and lastly they had a couple bagels (not even sure if they had cream cheese for the bagels). You know it must have been pretty bad when my teenage boys pretty much chose no breakfast over eating there. 4. I could go on and on, but I will end with this last story/comment: I found it a little refreshing when I pulled back the bedspread and I saw colored sheets installed on the bed.
The staff seemed to be very nice and eager to help, but I found myself wondering if they really didn't realize just how messed up their place was.
Door wouldn't lock...could open door from outside with credit card! Place under construction some.
Location and GREAT water pressure!
Obviously in transition - trying to redo some rooms. Sheets were very old and pilled - no mattress pad. Continental breakfast consisted of a box of donuts and coffee! Not very good!
Location - very quiet - clean - price
The door didn't fit tight in the door jam you could see light all around the door.
Great stay for the $. Off the strip so it was nice and quiet. Its also just off of Green Mountain Drive which makes it easy to navigate to different places without having to use the main strip.
I had to ask for a trashcan and a remote for the OLD TV and then later found we only had about a fourth roll of toilet paper and had to call for paper. Booked for 2 adults and 2 children and only had 2 towels, had to call for towels. I was not a happy customer.
The room was not clean, no bath towels, no toilet paper, no pillows. After waiting an hour for towels, I finally went down to the lobby and found the maid chatting with friends, she didn't even remember who I was! Breakfast was cold cereal with skim milk and wrapped snack muffins. The hot water was out for several hours as well, and the pool was not clean and there was trash everywhere. There seems to be a group of unsavory people that were living there.
The location was great, quiet and not right on the main street.
We were there two nights before housekeeping even came to make the beds and take out the trash. We had to ask for towels at least 3 times and we had to ask for toilet paper upon arrival. Over all this place left a bad taste in our mouths. We will not be staying here again anytime soon.
We loved the convenience of the location. We were close to everything yet off in a private setting.
The lobby smelled bad.. the hotel is right next to a residential subdivision... the pool was gross and not open on july 18th.. the room was dirty.. the headboards had lots of dust on them.. the floor didn't look like it had been vacuumed very well.. I will not ever consider going back to this hotel again..
The staff was nice.. they didn't have a big problem giving me my money back so we could go seek another hotel to stay at..
No hand towels
