Score from 870 reviews Very good
The staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We got a good nights sleep.
Only one soda machine for the whole place and it didn't work. We were expecting to have waffles in the AM. There were none. We had to be happy with toast. We asked the desk to get us a cab to go into Manhattan. They called a car service that cost us fifty bucks to get to midtown. Twice what it cost to get from midtown to the hotel the night before.
The bed was Huge!
The location sucks for people without a vehicle
noisy motorway, 12 minute walk to nearest subway station
Area great! We went out walked around everyday, rode the train into the city. We had a stores, bakery restaurant's close by. Loved the breakfast and waffles by Taggy! Fresh everyday!
Don't stay close to stairwell it gets busy at night.
the fraontdesk guy and the room smell, both dont meet our hotel industry standards
quality-price very satisfied. polite staff
A comfortable place away from home
Location is not to our liking
The staff is excellent.
Traffic was very heavy and getting into and out of Manhattan took over 30 minutes from the time you got from the bridge to the hotel.
Location - 15 min walk to the metro line. Quite region. It's the highway near, but I never hear it at night. Quite a big room. Fairly clean (by american standards) Next time I will include it in range of choice.
My room was close to reception and almost every night it was very noisy. Just try to avoid to the door of your room overlooked the reception
The man at the desk wad rather nice to day the least. Had friends staybat the inn in 2 different rooms. The hotel smelled of cigarettes and 1 room smelled a little off.a maid knocked and came into a friends room at 8 in the morning without consent and on the second night people were arguing and both friends on opposite ends of hotel heard them and nothing was done about it.
too far away from a subway station
Best location, away from traffic, easy in - out. secure parking
The bed was very comfy but the breakfast drinks were cut of 20 mins earlier then they were ment to be
satisfied, especially the location, very close to the city just over the bridge.
There was a front man who I asked where to park, responded poorly and rudely, gave me very unhelpful information (Not even relevant to my question). I met 2 front men and 1 women, the younger man was the guy with very very bad service
Great value for New York, on the outskirts of the City but near to subway and heart of the city. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we got free parking
Ease of access to subway and Mid-town, free parking
Place were accessible, good facilty & friendly staff
The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was clean and all the facilities worked perfectly. It was quiet.
The location wasn't great, most cab drivers didn't know where it was. The subway is about a ten minute walk but it was a pleasant stroll through a nice, quiet neighbourhood. The breakfast area is small and the breakfast is pretty much limited to breads and cereal.
Close to subway
Was comfortable, clean and the offered breakfast was very good and accessible.
We received a room next to the stairs , day and night the stuff was opening and closing that door , the noise was terrible, plus , because of the fact that our room was in the corner , we didn't receive any wi fi connection , we had to go downstairs to surf the net.
Probably the best "free" breakfast during our trip Free shuttle service to metro Although front desk staff appeared totally un interested, others, especially the handy-man, were great
Room service was patchy, no sink plug for a start and hit and miss wether tea/coffee facilities were replenished. Location is beside a Freeway and it could get noisey It was busy at the time of visit and this seemed to push their resources a bit
No air conditioner in the lobby/dining, hallway smells
Close to the highway but still not noising
Later in the morning breakfast was not refurbished as in the early morning
