near where we were going.
no wifi bed needed new mattress rugs stained.
Very rude man worked there. There was chicken in the refrigerator. I asked them to clean it out and they never did. Overall pretty nasty place.
The staff was excellent and friendly and the price is reasonable.
The rooms could use some updating even though they are clean and comfortable.
King size bed was extremely comfortable. Slept like a rock. Room was goodly sized for a motel room and did not feel cramped at all. Overall room had a basically clean feel. Good location, easy to get to everything. Between Queensbury and Lake George, there was nothing we couldn't find.
Very dated. Bathroom needs facelift and fresh paint. Clean but dingy. Exterior was cute but needs fresh paint job.
Location was great.
Cigarette burns in sheets. Bed very poorly made, mildew on shower curtain, no remote control for tv. Dust everywhere. Had to put coffee pot on floor because the place to plug in wasn't working.
Very old and bathroom was so old that it shows negatively. Fixtures were ancient in the bathroom. Window air con unit very loud. Door to my room stuck badly on carpet. Just overall is. 50s-style motel with wear and tear that shows. But I needed this price and this location and the bed was comfortable .
Free Trolley to LG right outside Any food options you could ask for right on Rt. 9 Responsive staff
Room was a little smelly Motel rents to homeless On busy street
motel is dated and in need of some updates and maintenance
Very quiet , friendly owners, close to SPAC
They were having wifi problems during our stay
Great price and great location considering ease of finding it and also how close it is to the highway. Served its purpose 100% and glad I didn't pay 4 times as much for hotel somewhere else.
The Alpenhaus Motel was "Home Away From Home" during a recent business trip. The room was comfortable and centrally located so I could easily enjoy all the enemities available in Glens Falls. I would definitely choose to stay there again.
Location and price
The hotel in in need of repair updating would be nice very old and not updated
The owner went out of his way to accommodate our needs as I am disabled and we did not notify them in advance of that. Upon arrival we were offered a room with 2 beds instead of 1 Queen that would make for easier access for me. The staff checked daily to see if we needed any thing. The were polite and courteous.
Check-in process efficient & pleasant. Room was clean & comfortable.
Bathroom light wouldn't stay on. Older motel needing a bit of additional TLC but excellent deal for the money if you don't require all the extras.
The staff always had a smile on there faces and were all very friendly!! Great value for your money! Will definately stay here again!!
This was exactly what we were looking for - a clean and inexpensive getaway.
Drab, dreary, poorly lighted and cold! I turned up the thermostat but the place never warmed up. The coffee maker was dirty. The door seemed very flimsy and not at all air-tight. Shower curtain was moldy at the bottom. Pretty much a dump.
I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the place was. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The place was a little dated and could use s little TLC.
great service, very friendly and had the option of smoking room
Older motel with a touch of charm in its originality. No issue about cleanliness. Easy walk to WalMart along sidewalk. Non-highway setting.
the price and location
everything else. old, outdated, in disrepair. floors weren't solid. electrical outlets were hazardous but what do you expect for $50 a night i guess
The lady at the desk was friendly and inviting. The price and location were good.
The hotel is old and in dire need of upgrades. This is a quaint hotel and the rooms would all be full if it were fixed up.
I didn't get the room I asked for and I was in my car when I noticed the clerk busting in to my room. Very strange experience
How I was treated as a paying guest in a 1 star hotel.
