We made the reservation back in April for two rooms. When we arrived at 5pm on Saturday 8/23 to check in there was no one in the office except a crying baby behind a gate. The woman who finally came to the door had to make and call and then informed us there was only one room. No apology no attempt make good just rude. Would stay very far away from this property!
We arrived late at a cold, winter night. The room was nicely warm. It had electricity and hot water, two warm beds. Which is what we needed, to spend the night and continue on our way up north.
The room was shabby, sand everywhere- hard to say that it was cleaned. Dirty / unchanged sheets in one bed. Towels and sheets so old, that even washed looked dirty. Bathroom- shabby, with a very old bathtub. Not worth the money. We are not coming back there.
The bathroom door looked like it was host to a domestic violence dispute. Holes in door, pry marks near handle, No lock on door. The room smelt like stale cigarettes. I had to air my clothing outside when I got home. I would avoid it in the future.
Room had a very stale odor. Bed and pillows uncomfortable. TV remote didn't work. Did not feel secure.
Surprise Costs. Wrong size beds Broken Bed
There was lots of hot water
This was by far the filthiest unkept hotel/motel I have ever stayed in!
It was the only room available near Saratoga Springs and it was better than sleeping in our tent at a campsite in S Springs. 33kms away.
The room and the buildings look dirty but just need a fresh paint job inside and outside.
This place was dirty, offered no amenities and was generally run down and disgusting. Worst place I have ever stayed.
Nothing, it was one of the worst motels we ever stayed at!
The room had spiders and roaches. It did not have cold water in the sink, only boiling hot water. The bedding was dirty and had cigarette burns. The "wooden" floor was warped and could cut your feet. The shower was filthy. We were scheduled to stay 2 nights, but left after 1 sleepless night. The manager did not want to give us a credit on the 1 night we did not stay. Had to negotiate to get a small refund back. He claimed that "booking.com" charged him 25% per night, so we let him keep it. We will never use this sight again!!!!
We were not given the room originally booked, he instead had us stay at the Kings Hotel, promising us an upgrade to a suite. When we got to the Kings Hotel, the room was dirty, the bath tub had hair in it, the floor had visible dirt on it, the towels they supplied us were dirty, and it was not a suite in anyway. The room was exceptionally warm with no ac to turn on, and I do not feel that it was at all worth the money that I spent!!!
There were holes in the walls, ceilings looked like there was once water damage, we found ants and spiders in the bathroom and the toilet didn't work!
Location was good
Facilities were very poor for the amount we paid. Staff was unhelpful. Pool was closed. Room was dirty. Very seedy motel at top dollar.
Where it was located
Outdated, dirty, no curtains in the window, just a broken shade that let all the light in. Mold in the bathroom, the fan in the bathroom was so filthy that it hardly worked. The air conditioner was hardly blowing, it was so warm it was hard to sleep. Only given soap, no shampoo. Light switches did not work.
The location was right where we were. We visited the six flags park and wanted to shop the next day at the outlets.
The Inn was very disappointing. When I filled out the information for our stay, I requested a non-smoking room. We arrived the room had a horrible smell to it. The furniture had cigarette holes in it. On top of the smell, there were spiders and cop webs everywhere. When we opened the window the screen did not fit the window perfectly so mosquitoes could come in. There were smokers right outside our room. We ended up being up most of the night due to daughter sick to her stomach because of the smell. We woke early and when we took a shower there was no temperature control. During my shower there were bursts of freezing cold water, then a sudden scolding hot. My mother in law also had a shower that she experienced the same conditions. We did not allow the children to take a shower due to the inconsistency of the temperature. We were afraid they would be burnt badly. The towels... There were only two towels, three hand towels and 4 washcloths provided in the bathroom. This worked fine because we did not allow the girls to take a shower. The back of the bathroom door had a hole in it. The front door only had a regular house locking door. On the outside it looked like it had a dead bolt but the inside of the door only allowed the door handle to be locked. The mattress were anything but comfortable. They were so stiff no matter where you sat or rolled the bed made loud noises. When I went to speak to the office staff the door was locked. Tried again in the am (twice) and no luck. We finally left at 10:30 and still no one in the office to hear my complaint and dissatisfaction. Comparably to the other local hotel, motels and inn they are the same price. I would recommend some place different.
