Breakfast was good
Breakfast at 9.45am. Traffic noise from main road.Property old fashioned and tired
The B&b was run by Silvia, and she was fantastic. We stayed for a whole week, and she prepared wonderful and new things for breakfast every morning (brunch). Fresh, home made and healthy. And she had so many stories to tell from all around the world. For breakfast we also met nice people - mostly having some romantic days. The b&b is nicely located, and we used bicycles to get to wine tastings, beaches and restaurants.
We enjoyed a wondeful and large deck, and a big king bed. However, the size of the bed to most of the room. We are also used to larger bathrooms than what we got. In sum, we had a wonderful stay with Silvia.
Location was great
Our jacuzzi tub was never cleaned..The bed had a foam topper and was on high risers as in college to make it appear luxurious but it wasn't. Very disappointing for that price
Breakfasts were good. Beds were comfortable.
This was a lovely place to stay. It was not a basic B&B - it had a very special feel. The accommodation had a "colonial" style and was well furnished and maintained. The large garden was very pretty with quiet spots to have a glass of wine or a bite to eat. The owner, Sylvia, was very friendly, with a brilliant personality - nothing was too much trouble. We had afternoon tea and home made cookies & pecan pie on arrival and also the following day. The breakfasts were superb - all home made cakes and breads plus lovely hot dishes. We ate on a lovely patio in glorious sunshine and chatted to other guests. When the local bus service let us down to return to Greenport, Sylvia quickly arranged a lift for us We are from the UK and this was an excellent, welcoming guest house for a short break on Long Island, North Fork.
Peaceful , serene, food, service and Sylvia .
