Close to airport. We actually didn't spend the night, we used it to stay while awaiting our 1 a.m flight.
Not the cleanest, under renovations and our room was unfinished. Bad location - great if you want to be asked for money while getting bags out of vehicle. Creepy clientele, don't stay with children.
My room was clean and relatively quiet. The decor of my room was unique - it made me feel at home. It is close to bus routes so there is no problem getting to the center of town. The property is located near a Wal-Mart and several resturants.
While I appreciated the decor, it would have been a little nicer if the remolding had been completed.
They had a cookout for the guests. Plenty of stores and eating places nearby.
Thin walls. No outlets worked. Only one light worked.
The atmosphere, The friendly attitude, The breakfast and evenings meals. The cost..
convenience, staff, helpfulness
Only that the public bus stopp was very close to the Inn.
A very noisy place, traffic was passing just in front of our room (number 104) - the whole night long. Little quality and service for a lot of money! Couldn't check in when arriving at three o'clock, because the room was not cleaned. The lady at the reception desk was overcharged with our simple wish to get our room number or more information. We had to wait more than another 2 hours. The floor in our room and in the bathroom was very dirty, no toilet paper holder in the bathroom, running water at the bath tub all day and night long, no possibility to hang up clothes, no phone in the room, the pass keys were not always working. In Europe you never could offer such a bad room for such a high rate.
I literally liked nothing about this hotel.
The shared bathrooms are disgusting and when they actually do clean them, it looks the same but smells so strong of bleach that you want to pee with the door open. It's really hot so you need to open a window, however you're right on a busy street so good luck not waking up a thousand times. Literally the worst sleep of my life. My room wasn't even completely painted, and you could sees into my room through the space between the door and the door frame. Oh and I almost forgot. They had a thing on the bathroom door that didn't really fit, so when I thought the door was latched and locked, it wasn't, and a 10 year old boy walked in and saw me naked. If you're thinking about staying here, for the same money, you could sleep on my coach and get more comfort.
It was unique but interesting enough to return on next trip to Anchorage.
Heater did not work No light in the bathroom Toilet seat almost fell off Dirt on blinds and lamp shades Noisy room.
the hotel is located in between city and airport. There are some eateries, shops and liquor store in walking distance
the room was in the middle of a refurbishment, the smell of paint rather strong. The bathroom was NOT clean with signs of previous travellers
Beds were good.
NO TOILET PAPER!? Not even a toilet paper holder. And no phone in the room to call and request some. Oh, and actually even if there was a phone there was no staffing between 12-5am.
No warm water in the shower! The sheets where old and there was holes in them. Noice from the street and cooridors keept me awake during most of the night.
Funky, artsy place. Liked having kitchen access.
They need to put blackout curtains on the windows for summer. It's light out till midnight and hard to get the kids to sleep.
Interacting with other guests and staff.
Rooms were a bit noisy from street traffic and although remodeled were not completely finished. Pass keys were at times not able to open doors.
No hot water
I really enjoyed the really friendly staff!
Wish the wifi was a bit better. Also the communal bathroom shower needed a good scrub.
Location and value for money are great.
My key didn't work one morning and No one was at the desk. I waited around but had to run and didn't get to eat my smoothie for breakfast because I couldn't get into my room. Two other times I went to the office and no one was there.
Easy & affordable
Renovation & pod wasn't available I had to get another room
Broken door and half the lights and plug socket didn't work
Room design; public kitchen area; free bbq night
Hotel under construction
Too close to a very noisy street
This place should not be on anyone's list it is trash from start to finish
Like the idea of get-togethers. For people staying for longer duration can get to know others.
Not used to the pod kind of accommodation, so was a little uncomfortable to adjust to the smaller space.
