Friendly airport shuttle drivers Comfortable room Helpful at suggesting somewhere to eat late at night, close to hotel
Wifi would not work in our room Asked for a wake up call, did not get it Airport shuttle only went every hour early in the morning Shower head too low for someone who was taller than 5'7
Hotel itself was good. Adequate reception and breakfast, quiet (although some people stayed at the same time as me was complaining about next-door's noise), old-looking but clean bathroom.
They offer shuttles to/from the nearest station every half an hour and to some main locations of Boston every hour, but they hardly was on time (or rather never for shuttles not to the station). I signed up for a shuttle three time and none worked. Only one of those time the hotel run an extra shuttle, but I had to took a cab and pay for it by myself for the rest.
I could not connect the wifi in the room
Decent room. Pleasant staff.
Hotel which is very run down in the general areas. Ramada has made an effort to maintain normal standards in the room but corridors poor - separate buildings linked together. Limited shuttle - had to wait over an hour and needed to pre-book which we weren't told on check-in. Price not bad for Boston but still far more than the quality justifies.
Breakfast is horrible and front office is incompetent and rude
Bed was comfortable
Tap water regardless u select cold or hot it is always hot, room locker was not fuctioning well, I swap the card 100 times, I change the card, not functioning till the smash the door, location is on the highway, forget about sleeping, stuff are so rude and not helpful at all, even good morning is not there !!!!
We booked for 3 stays, but in the 2nd day, staff called us to say that you have to get out asap because you just booked 2 stays madly. We did book 3 stays but she never believed us. So I had to go back to the hotel to show the transcript. Then finally it was hotel's false at all, however the staff who called us did not apologize to us.
The shuttle was ultra convenient and breakfast was a nice surprise.
Clean, friendly and comfortable, with spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Free WIFI Free parking
Noisy air con machine. Only one card key of 3 worked. Breakfast buffet not good, the only hot food was waffles and scrambled eggs. Plastic silverware! No bar nor restaurants in the hotel. Two restaurants nearby Deadwood (Bowling restaurant) and a higher class restaurant Freeport Tavern. Free WIFI did not work in our room.
Price was good. Location about 10 minutes from North End. Clean room. Quiet.
Staff acted indifferent to rude and was often too busy talking with friends to be bothered with you. Bathroom/sink area was small.
Beds comfortable. Fairly well equipped. Shuttle service very good. Fair price for Boston.
We stayed here twice, once at the beginning and once at the end of our holiday so these comments are based on our experiences in two different rooms. The hotel had a bit of a tired feeling compared with other similar hotels we stayed at in New England, particularly the rooms - taps very stiff, walls sometimes quite dirty, toilet in one made a noise at intervals during the night when not being used. Sometimes noisy from other peoples air conditioning units. The rooms nearest the main road are very noisy all night so I would avoid them if you can. We also had the unfortunate experience of being here on a Saturday night when we had people shouting and bawling right near our room at 3 a.m! To be fair the staff did move us at our request for the next night. Most annoying experience at this hotel was arriving at Boston Airport in the evening and finding that the phone number for the hotel on the booking form was wrong, so we couldn't ring for the shuttle as expected and had to fork out 40$ for a cab.
Helpful staff, location and provision of courtesy bus to JFK/Umass subway station on the Red Line.
Could not check in due to computer problems, staff did not have any solutions, problem was for the guest, returned later. WiFi was not working in the morning, again no solution. Room windows face onto corridor with glass other side, thus curtains had to be closed for privacy.
So near the falls.
Price... Free parking...shuttle to train station ... Mini fridge... Microwave... Coffee maker
The bed ... Not comfortable .. No HBO
price location restaurant bowling breakfast towels lobby was beautiful staff was professional
some parts of the hotel were warm and other parts were freezing. lack of climate control cracks within building and windows ice only in lobby area
The idea of dropping and picking guests to and from the train station and airport. Very good thinking. Helped a lot.
The undemocratic ban on smoking in the premises and even in the rooms.
staff friendly and helpful
a bit far removed from downtown, airport and other amenities
The price was right and the breakfast was great (waffles, eggs, variety of breads, fruit, etc). I kept wondering, however, if there was supposed to be bacon or sausage on the other side of the warming container that had the scrambled eggs. I even asked the women who worked there, but they said no.
The room seemed very dated and "low budget." It also was a bit noisy since it was right by a busy highway. The elevator was in an odd spot away from the front desk.
Nothing to dislike
Staff very helpful Clean, comfortable beds Fridge, Microwave and Coffee Breakfast inclued Convenience Value for money great for Boston
Room Décor slightly dated
The location was nice. It is next to the subway Red Line, which made commuting to Boston easier. The shuttle staff (Danny & Bobby mostly) were the highlight of our stay. Very friendly and took time to help us figure out where to go and what we were seeing. The front desk staff was very nice, but it was hard to make up for what the hotel was lacking.
The hotel and rooms are very run down. There is a gab between the ceiling and the wall on hallways of the hotel, so when it rains the whole hallway is a flood zone. We were woken up each early morning by an employee having to suck up the water. When it wasn't raining, it smelled moldy. The rooms are very run down, small and uncomfortable. The beds felt like we were sleeping on concrete slabs. Our backs and rib cages hurt each morning and for most of the day. It just felt dirty and old. The walls are thin so it was a pleasure hearing everyone around us. We had our do not disturb sign on our door, but I guess the housekeeping staff didn't understand what that means, so we were bugged constantly. I really felt as though we were at a run down motel.
Shuttle Service was fantastic. Staff went out of their way to help us with plans.
Staff were very helpful
Hotel bit run down
