Free shuttle from and to Boston Logan
Clerk treatment, breakfast they did not have much choice, 3 broken toasters, eggs were made of powder
shuttle bus, friendly staff, cleanliness
Hotel very clean, breakfast great. It's a bit dated but good value for money as far cheaper than city centre hotels. It is out the way a bit but there's a free shuttle service to the nearest subway station that's very handy. Also to & from airport. Ideal as a reasonably priced base to see Boston.
Price for product. Location accessibility.
The Beds were clean and comfortable and the Wifi was good. Also the Front staff was nice.
Hallway was open to the outside at floor level.(Very Cold). This allowed the cold air to enter through the door even when it was closed. Gaps in door insulation. VERY Bad picture on TV. Toilet seat footings were broken. HEAT/AIR was VERY loud. Frig was also Loud. Thin outside wall, I could hear everyone talk and walk past room.
Most comfortable pillows.
Static on tv for every channel. Also, despite stating so on my confirmation email, booking.com never charged my card and I never noticed. Getting charged upon arrival was a complete surprise and ruined my budget for the weekend.
Cheapest hotel for boston convention center events
Bed was uncomfortable, people smoking in hallways and their smoke smell blowing into our room. Very drafty room, not ideal for the winter.
The staff was very unaccomidating. Charged my credit card without asking if I was paying cash or credit on the morning of checkout.
Bed was comfortable. The floor we stayed on was nice. Staff was nice.
Elevator was a little sketchy. Room door was hard to open. Didn't have much to pick from for breakfast.
The breakfast is good. Tables are not clean.
The hotel location is very dangerous. The staff are far away from being friendly. To reach your room from the main desk you have to wear a winter jacket cause it is very cold, kind of openings everywhere and snow is melting inside the hallway. Room are very old fashioned and the bathroom are very small with no ventilation. In few words, don t choose this hotel if you are travelling in couple or with children or if you want to stay more than one night. Its is not worth the money we have paid even if it is for free!!!!
the staff was friendly
the lobby said checkout was at 12 but a cleaning person was at the door at 10 telling us to go, slightly confused
Heater made to much noise
Friendly airport shuttle drivers Comfortable room Helpful at suggesting somewhere to eat late at night, close to hotel
Wifi would not work in our room Asked for a wake up call, did not get it Airport shuttle only went every hour early in the morning Shower head too low for someone who was taller than 5'7
Hotel itself was good. Adequate reception and breakfast, quiet (although some people stayed at the same time as me was complaining about next-door's noise), old-looking but clean bathroom.
They offer shuttles to/from the nearest station every half an hour and to some main locations of Boston every hour, but they hardly was on time (or rather never for shuttles not to the station). I signed up for a shuttle three time and none worked. Only one of those time the hotel run an extra shuttle, but I had to took a cab and pay for it by myself for the rest.
I could not connect the wifi in the room
Decent room. Pleasant staff.
Hotel which is very run down in the general areas. Ramada has made an effort to maintain normal standards in the room but corridors poor - separate buildings linked together. Limited shuttle - had to wait over an hour and needed to pre-book which we weren't told on check-in. Price not bad for Boston but still far more than the quality justifies.
Breakfast is horrible and front office is incompetent and rude
Bed was comfortable
Tap water regardless u select cold or hot it is always hot, room locker was not fuctioning well, I swap the card 100 times, I change the card, not functioning till the smash the door, location is on the highway, forget about sleeping, stuff are so rude and not helpful at all, even good morning is not there !!!!
We booked for 3 stays, but in the 2nd day, staff called us to say that you have to get out asap because you just booked 2 stays madly. We did book 3 stays but she never believed us. So I had to go back to the hotel to show the transcript. Then finally it was hotel's false at all, however the staff who called us did not apologize to us.
The shuttle was ultra convenient and breakfast was a nice surprise.
Clean, friendly and comfortable, with spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Free WIFI Free parking
Noisy air con machine. Only one card key of 3 worked. Breakfast buffet not good, the only hot food was waffles and scrambled eggs. Plastic silverware! No bar nor restaurants in the hotel. Two restaurants nearby Deadwood (Bowling restaurant) and a higher class restaurant Freeport Tavern. Free WIFI did not work in our room.
Price was good. Location about 10 minutes from North End. Clean room. Quiet.
Staff acted indifferent to rude and was often too busy talking with friends to be bothered with you. Bathroom/sink area was small.
Beds comfortable. Fairly well equipped. Shuttle service very good. Fair price for Boston.
We stayed here twice, once at the beginning and once at the end of our holiday so these comments are based on our experiences in two different rooms. The hotel had a bit of a tired feeling compared with other similar hotels we stayed at in New England, particularly the rooms - taps very stiff, walls sometimes quite dirty, toilet in one made a noise at intervals during the night when not being used. Sometimes noisy from other peoples air conditioning units. The rooms nearest the main road are very noisy all night so I would avoid them if you can. We also had the unfortunate experience of being here on a Saturday night when we had people shouting and bawling right near our room at 3 a.m! To be fair the staff did move us at our request for the next night. Most annoying experience at this hotel was arriving at Boston Airport in the evening and finding that the phone number for the hotel on the booking form was wrong, so we couldn't ring for the shuttle as expected and had to fork out 40$ for a cab.
Helpful staff, location and provision of courtesy bus to JFK/Umass subway station on the Red Line.
