Staff were very helpful and gave good advice about excellent restaurants and cafés and were mega friendly. Hotel was funky and in great location
The staff is very friendly and the location is awesome.
I got nothing bad to say.
Good proximity to everything
Bed was comfy, staff was great.
The room was so tiny, only a bed and tv, not even room for a chair. We had to upgrade to a suite. The room, with taxes and parking was over $300. Not worth it.
Interior design. Breakfast café.
Rooms bit small, smaller than on pictures and information.
Pretty central to everything we wanted to see. Was a clean nice retro ish place with parking.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the position of the hotel was fantastic being only a 10 minute walk to the Space Needle and monorail into downtown. The rooms were spacious and clean and fitted 3 adults comfortably. Overall, Hotel Five is a great hotel and would stay there again.
The car parking facility is not great. It's quite small and very hard to get the car in and out of, especially when big SUV's are parked in the underground car park. It took numerous attempts to get the car out due to the little room available and then we all had to get out of the car to get it up the driveway so the car wouldn't scrap when driving out.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is near the centre of the town and convenient for shopping and dining. Also, it is accessible to theatres, museums and the inter-state highway. The bedroom and the bathroom were both clean and with an updated look.
The fan for the heater was too loud and kept us awake through the night. The dog across our room whined from time to time and kept us awake. Our suggetion is that if you allow dogs in the hotel, guest rooms for the owners of dogs should be on the separate floor or away from other guest rooms.
The location was good and the lobby staff was very helpful. They were eager to help you find destinations and great insight of the surrounding area. Cheers to the people Hotel 5 has chosen as the " face to the name"!
We felt like the hotel was an overhauled cheep hotel with a good "lipstick and rouge" remodel. They missed some key elements. The rooms were noisy with outside room noises. You could hear people walking down the hall, late night bathroom visits from upstairs neighbors were loud enough to wake all of us up! Our floor had a bunch of exposed Sheetrock patches and construction still underway. Ice machines were located on every other floor and not easy to find. There was no hot tub and a very lackluster gym for what we paid a night. I was very dissatisfied with those attributes and would not stay there again for what we paid a night
Loved the decor. Fun to watch monorail pass. Great location
location, cleanliness, accommodating staff
Great location - easy walk to lots of restaurants, bars, main downtown area, and space needle.
wifi was poor Not all the staff were knowledgable about transport/check out etc.
And all the up to date accoutrements. The redo of this previously shabby hotel is a remarkable improvement. The staff was efficient and responded quickly to all my needs. I will tell my friends. Plus I will return. Thank you! DJ andriessen
Very friendly staff great room great location
Staff was excellent, very accommodating. My girlfriend and I were first time visitors to Seattle, and the staff were more than helpful and guided us in the right direction as far as things to see and places to go. Always warm and friendly. The location couldn't have been better. And we also liked the uniqueness of the hotel, it kind of felt like we were staying at someone's home. It was like the W's younger, cooler, and more down to earth brother.
The construction in the hotel was pretty annoying. Couldn't sleep past 8:30 the whole time. They offered to move us to another floor, but after talking to other guests, the noise could be heard from all floors. We should have been offered a lower daily rate beforehand because of this in my opinion
Location Staff service and helpfulness - fantastic
Noisy - you can hear everything happening outside.
It is a bit loud, you can hear people walking around in the room above you
hospitality and atmoshpere and location
We didnt have a fridge in our room
The wifi mostly worked. Coffee in the room was useful. Bicycles were a nice touch, though I didn't have a use for one.
Indifferent, self consciously 'cool' staff. Incredibly badly insulated rooms. (booking.com requested a quiet room and I got a third floor street-facing room about level with the monorail and over a set of traffic lights (up to ~55dB) situated next to the elevator, whose beep I could hear through the gap under the door.) Being woken up by a telephone call after an early check in. The lack of a fridge in the room.
Good location for us easy walking distance to the space needle and to Pike St market. Access from SeaTac is convenient via LiteLink train and a 10 min walk. There is a breakfast and lunch cafe on site and several restaurants nearby. Hotel is clean with modern fittings
We were there over Halloween which was very noisy also emergency vehicles tend to pass at all hours of the night with sirens wailing, this might be normal in the US but it is a bit over the top. The monorail passes by the window every 5 mins in the daytime.
Location, décor, comfort, friendly, free bikes, cupcakes. walking friendly, umbrellas!
A tiny bit noisy, BUT you are in a city so you should expect it!
Location is good everywhere are within alking distance, the room design is new and artististic, hospitality of the staff was good, wi-fi was so strong.
No referigerator in the room, coffee maker also not function well, the curtain cannot be scroll up, only one big towel available in the room. The amenities in the room only soap and shampoo.
Loved the location , was clean , nice thick towels , staff was very helpful & courteous!
Needs to offer adult beverages on premises & have a restaurant that is open later in the evening .
Nice neighborhood, awesome customer service, and very clean
A bit noisy due mainly from the construction outside
