Hotel FIVE    

The hotel is close to everything downtown Seattle so you can walk to everywear.

Very clean and helpful staff. Very close to Pike Market and Seattle space needle - don't need a vehicle.

Can be a bit noisy if room faces the street, also Monorail is located on the street side as well.

The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful and willing to book excursions and a good value car service to take us to the station. The hotel is well designed and great complimentary services such as Wi-fi, cycles and tea, coffee and water in room. We ate in the on site cafe and this was tasty and good value. Hotel is well located in walking distance of downtown, waterfront and Seattle centre. Grocery store, ATM, cinema and a selection of dining choices in neighbouring blocks.

Walls were quite thin so hope your neighbours aren't too loud!

I loved the modern design. It was very comfortable and clean. I would look forward to staying there again.

- Inconsistent housekeeping - Had ants throughout our room. Dozens in the shower one morning - Only a couple front desk staff seemed interested in being there - Room next to an unfinished stairwell where the door was always open - Hotel staff didn't make themselves aware of specific requirements before we arrived that they had weeks in advance

- free coffee in the lobby - bicycles available for guests - very nice rooms

- the breakfast room lacks charme

I loved the decor and overall aesthetic of the hotel. The front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful during our stay and I appreciate the free WI-Fi and free computer/printing usage. Those are two small amenities that go a long way, in my opinion. Also, loved the free pineapple cupcakes in the lobby, so good!

Great location. Close to restaurants, bars, coffee/donut shops, jazz club.

I think Hotel 5 is perfect for my needs. I used to have a corporate rate - so I only want to use Hotel 5 up to 6 nights per month. however the corporate rate is no longer honored and I cannot continue to stay here so this was my last visit. i am forced to use other hotels in the area.

- Dark room and bathroom - when somebody is on the shower in the next room, you can hear it, and it is very loud. - the ventilator in the bathroom is loud, which is annoying.

Location

Bed was hard as a rock. No ice machine and they failed to keep bags of ice full in freezer for guests. Had to call front desk every time we needed ice.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice, well laid out, lots of space. Coffee and tea with the Kerig was great to have in the room. Location is perfect for a city vacation, close to everything. The monorail goes right by but is not noisy.

Bus noise from the street and no hair dryer in the room. But really very minor issues.

I was upgraded to a suite, spacious and stylish, with a shower that now leaves me disappointed with mine at home.

We liked the location, the cupcakes, staff were really nice and accommodating, and the room was great too. The staff were very nice!

The cleaning services were great and the friendliness of that particular staff was wonderful!

Upon checking in the people at the front desk looked at me as if I was not from the area (clearly I'm not if I'm staying in a hotel). They were very blunt and it seemed as if I was inconveincing them when I had no special requests, just wanted a room that I had booked far in advance. They asked where I was heading and seemed offended by my answer... Overall, I will not be staying at the hotelFIVE again.

Loved the atmosphere, amenities, location, and staff.

The sound barriers weren't very good. We could hear everything coming from the next room.
