the look, style and feel, very fresh, I had not seen "Blu" before
When its raining there needs to be a more proactive way to get cabs to stop. People waited a long time on Sunday.
Nice place and room, everything is prefect
Gym Friendly staff Really nice lobby Location
Convenience to our son and his wife's home. Good bell hop service. Room, bed comfortable. Like having wifi.
New decor is cold and uninviting. Hallways and lobby were cold--needed to wear a coat to sit in the lobby. Tap water runs cold for many minutes before you get warm water for a shower. Terrible waste of water.

no bad at all, everything is perfect in this hotel.
The location of the hotel & property.
On our 2nd day we left our room around 10:30AM upon our return after 5:30PM our room had not been cleaned. When I'll calked the front desk after numerous rings I was told "to be patient & that housekeeping is still on the premises. " Approximately 1 hour 1/2 later house keeping finally made to our room. Once we returned to our room to hurry & prepare for dinner we notice we were left w/ only 3 bath towels & 3 hand towels. Now my 4th call to the front desk & I was assured someone would bring me immediately more towels. W/ in about :10 a gentleman was & the door w/ an additional 3 bath & 3 hand towels. Finally the next morning we received an unexpected & unwanted call from housekeeping that they had our towels. THIS WILL BE OUR LAST STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
The cheap look of the room
The hotel was good but
I got charged twice which makes it inconvenient. Now I have to call the hotel talk to some person who has no idea what they are doing and try to figure this out. They should just do it right the first time
Location and property atmosphere were top notch! The lobby decor is very hip and appropriate for this area of downtown Philadelphia. Definitely a great value for the price. Overall it was a very good stay.
The room didn't get made up my last day until nearly 11:30PM aside of asking for turn-down service 3 times throughout the day between sightseeing. FINALLY, at 11:30PM after calling for a 4th time someone made up the room. I was told that I would receive 2 breakfast coupons for the inconvenience but I instead received 2 drink coupons for that stay, which did me no good checking out at 10:00AM.
Staff were very friendly and hospitable.
I dropped something under the bed and was shocked to see how dusty it was under there.
Staff was exceptional as they upgraded us to a larger double as the room we booked (2 double beds) was not available when we arrived. My husband and 19 year old son were thrilled to be staying at such a nice hotel. Would stay again and highly recommend to anyone travelling to enjoy the city and all it has to offer!
Nothing, all was great!
A double room with king bed and not enough def coffee, tea, milk etc for 2 people.
Restaurant did not open at 6am as it did on last visit.
large spacious room convenient vending machines Nice appointments luxurious bed coffee in room
The location at Walnut and 17th is great Center City location - can't ask for better in Philadelphia. The spacious lobby area is now hip and modern within old architecture.
Not really a complaint - but. . . Although the rooms are comfortable, modern and remodeled, they have a very corporate middle-of-the-road feel about them which does not fit the edgy and hip lobby décor.
Great location; multiple options for dining and shopping within walking distance; large bedroom.
In-room heating system was noisy; old bathtub; staff could be more friendly
Location, location, location! Lobby was slick and modern with nice fireplace as the weather was cool when we were there.
Pricey for the overall value. Staff was not knowledgeable about local restaurants, coffee shops, directions.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff was always helpful and courteous. Upon arriving at home we realized that we had left some items in the hotel room. In most cases these items would have been lost, but we called the hotel and Security Officer Earlene found the items, cleaned and shipped them to us via FedEx. Amazing. We can't wait to stay with them again!
Location location location Perfect lobby to hang out
When i arrived and saw how beautiful the lobby was,the decor was so chic. Front desk attendant was so nice and pleasant. I loved my room,so cozy and relaxing. I'm really looking foward to stay there again very soon.
The bathroom window was cracked when i arrived which made it cold. The heat didn't seem to work in the bathroom and the floor was cold. I had to turn the room temperature up high so when i took shower i would be warm when i got out.
room was too small
The reception is too modern and blue The Personal is good The location is great, near of Benajim Franklin Institute
Only that the parking lot was a litlle tricky to find
The room was tiny with two double beds. Moving and sleeping were difficult. for the price we should have had more
I was having car problems when I pulled up to the hotel. The gentlemen valet swooped in and helped me out. There were 3-4 valet helping me. I'm so thankful they were there and my night would have been a total disaster without them.
Great location, lovely neighborhood, friendly staff and really good customer service. The 'Prime Rib' restaurant in the same hotel offers terrific options for serious meat-lovers.
